Errors with webapps in WebLogic 9.2

Hi.
Well, the problem is I when I access to the webapp it gives me a error. The app is deployed and started without any problem.
The first war I tested gives me that error when I access to the app.

Thanks for any help and sorry for my bad English.

Thanks David and weblogicRocks..
David,
I have installed the workshop also during installation. Actually I have searched for the class which is missing from the weblogic 9.2 installation folder. The missing class is is in different package path in weblogic 9.2 (knex81.jar) as shown below. Also, this class is generated by workshop while building in 8.1. So, I think I have to rebuild the work file in 9.2 to avoid referring to this class.
Missing Class location (weblogic 8.1) (knex.jar): com/bea/wlw/runtime/core/bean/SLSBContainerBean
Missing Class location (weblogic 9.2) (knex81.jar): com/bea/wlw/knex/runtime/core/bean/SLSBContainerBean
weblogicRocks,
I saw in the weblogic site that the webservices built from 8.1 will still work in 9.2 with out the need for changing the code. Pls, let me know whether I need to rebuild them on 9.2. If yes, I have used .jws files(sample class definition below) for my webservices and I came to know that in 9.2 new jws annotations are added, do I need to change my source code to add any new annotations so as to work in 9.2? Also, I have used wlwBuildTask using Ant to build the code in 8.1 and this task is not available in 9.2. Let me know what all I need to change for webservices created from workshop to migrate to 9.2. I am really struggling in resolving the issues as it is very urgent for me. Appreciate you quick response.
Below is my .jws webserice class definition.
public class MyWebService implements com.bea.jws.WebService
private String reqImpl;
* @common:operation
* @jws:conversation phase="none"
public String submitRequest(String var)
<Method Logic>
}

    Nadeem,
    Things to check:
    - out of disk space/quota?
    - not enough file permissions for the user running the server?
    Try and create that directory manually from a DOS/UNIX prompt. I suspect that
    will also demonstrate the same problem.
    If not, post back and we'll try to help you.

    looks like you didn't install the application development runtime on WLS, or if you did, you either forgot to extend your domain with the JRF or installed the wrong version of the application development runtime.

  • Deployment Manager Error with Oracle Weblogic Server 10.3.1

    I have installed Identity Manager 9.1.0.2 (patch upgraded from 9.1.0.1) on OEL 5.3 64bit and Weblogic 10.3.1
    Database:Oracle 11gR2 (remote machine).
    **I am aware that IM 9.1.0.2 is not certified on Weblogic 10.3.1 (it is only certified on 10.3),
    The installation was successful and OIManager is up and running. Able to create Users, Resources etc. as well.
    As part of configuring OIM Connectors tried to Import .xml file using Import option from Deployment Management section as below and the following error was displayed.
    "Either your session timed out or you are trying to access a page without logging in".
    Did all workarounds like enabling java, changing browsers, restarting machine etc as per the below discussion but in vain.
    Deployment Manager Error with Oracle Weblogic Server
    Can any one suggest any workaround or solution for this problem.
    Or atleast can any one confirm there is no Identity manager available on this date which is compatible with 10.3.1? and cannot be continued further.
    Thanks in Advance

    You are facing this issue because you're using a non certified combination.
    Other folks who tried to use OIM in 10.3.1 ended up in the same problem you're facing.

    Hi Team,
    This error is coming only when i am using the Weblogic 10.3.6 .
    The Axis2 jar is axis2 v 1.6.2.
    This error is coming only with this particular App server.
    No error is coming with the other App server like Tomcat.
    Please try giving response ASAP.
    Thanks in advance.

    As the error message says, your WebLogic server is trying to join a cluster that has a different cluster name.
    This bit in your tangosol-coherence-override.xml file or the tangosol.coherence.clustername system property must be the same in all members of the cluster
    <cluster-name system-property="tangosol.coherence.clustername">EPCIS</cluster-name>JK

  • Error starting deployment on weblogic 10.3

    I successfullly deployed a WAR to my development WebLogic server 10.3, however upon starting up the application I get the following error.
    weblogic.management.DeploymentException:
    Error: Unresolved Webapp Library references for
    "ServletContext@40456469[app:loginJSP module:loginJSP.war path:/LoginJSF-ViewController-context-root spec-version:2.5]",

    [Extension-Name: jstl, Specification-Version: 1.2, exact-match: false],
    [Extension-Name: jsf, Specification-Version: 1.2, exact-match: false]
    I just downloaded JDeveloper created an ADF application, and just downloaded WebLogic. I'm not sure how WebLogic can be so far off on ADF version. I downloaded the Oracle Fusion Middleware patchset: 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0) - Patch Set 3. I don't have the room to install it though.
    Is there some other way I can get around this?
    Thank you,

    Hi,
    The DTD used in "web.xml" should not cause any issue ...though it's the OLD "web.xml"...Please try to run the Following command to Generate the New Deployment Descriptors from the Existing Application:
    Step1). Open a Command Window and Run "setWLSEnv.sh" or "setWLSEnv.cmd".
    Step2). In the Command Prompt move to the Current Directory where you have placed your Application and then Run the Following Command
    java weblogic.DDConverter  -d NewDDs  jamagent.war
    Here Above Command Will read the "jamagent.war" War archive and then It will generate the New DDs in "NewDDs" directory...Which we need to replace with the OLD DDs present in our WebApplication..
    Thanks

  • Issue in bringing up CRS on ATG 10.1.1 with MySQL and Weblogic 10.3

    Hello,
    I am trying to bring up Commerce Reference Store as part of my evaluation using MySQL (bundled with ATG) and WebLogic 10.3.
    I followed the ATG Documentation on CRS with WebLogic and MySQL and I could not proceed because of the below error log. I keep getting error in OnlineCreateServerInstanceTask of CIM. I believe it should be some configuration problem, but could not think of any.
    As part of the installation, I use C:\jdk1.6.0_25. I verified my weblogic server is up through the admin console. I started MySQL before running the eval batch. Apart from starting MySQL server, I did not make any datasource/database configuration changes for ATG. I have not run any other scripts to configure MySQL too.
    Please guide me to resolve the problem.

    Thanks.

    This error is resolved after following the logs in C:\ATG\ATG10.1.1\CIM\log\cim.log. The root cause is I used http as protocol instead of t3 while specifying weblogic admin url.
    http://localhost:7001 instead of t3://localhost:7001
    Thanks.

  • Issue with bringing up Weblogic 10.3 after changing username passcode

    I am facing Issue with bringing up Weblogic 10.3 after changing username passcode in security realm Madhok, basically i have removed the default weblogic user and defined m,y own custome user and provide the credentials in the server start tab. When i try and bring up the admin server it comes up fine but the managed servers fail to start from admin console and i can see security credentials authentication error in logs? Why would that be considering the admin server is able to come up with the same credentials.
    -Priya Madhok
    Systems Architect
    InterAlliance Group Services
    http://www.interalliancegroup.com

    We had similar problem in the past, our problem was:
    Problem:
    We deleted weblogic default user from security realm and create new user when node manager and the managed servers were down. When we tries to bring up the managed servers after starting node manager we kept getting authentication denied errors.
    Solution:
    Recreate weblogic user and now try and bring up managed servers from command line using weblogic user. Once they are up shut them down and bring them up again with the new user you have created and it will work
    Reason:
    The managed servers in 10.3 seems to be storing the authentication details in there local managed servers ldap or cache. When you start the managed servers the don't know the new credentials and are authenticating against older values of stored credentials, hence they fail. Once they are started with the old credentials they communicate with admin servers to sync there cache with admin servers and the new credentials gets updated and from then on you can restart the managed servers with new credentials.
    Note: Sometimes after restart you may face the problem as the sync process with admin server is asynchornous, weblogic prints a line saying something like Performing async operation with server address null. If the line gets printed sync has happened and you are good. In case you don't see the line restart again and you will see the line after which you can restart with new credentials.

  • Using EJB with Hibernate on Weblogic Server ADF platform

    Hi all,
    We use Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4 and WLS 10.3
    I tried to use Hibernate on my project according to this link well, EJB with Hibernate On Weblogic
    I wanto use Hibernate tool because toplink and eclipselink can not achieve the issue about generating update* ddl on schema, they can just only re-create the tables -not real update.
    Firstly i got the related jars from internet: http://www.2hotfile.com/di-LSBU.png
    cglib-2.2
    antlr-2.7.6
    commons-collections-3.1
    dom4j-1.6.1
    hibernate3
    hibernate-validator-4.1.0.Final
    javassist-3.9.0.GA
    jta-1.1
    slf4j-api-1.5.11
    slf4j-nop-1.5.11
    Then i added to model project as library dependencies: http://www.2hotfile.com/di-GMSZ.png
    configured persistence.xml as below:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
    <persistence xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence"

    Please help me and excuse my poor English. Thanks in advance

    Thanks again for your consideration.
    I double checked CLASSPATH. And seen starting wls with classpath which i defined, but no change about ecxeption.
    you can see wls starting classpath through the link: http://www.2hotfile.com/image.php?di=BQNE

    @REM WARNING: This file is created by the Configuration Wizard.
    @REM Any changes to this script may be lost when adding extensions to this configuration.
    @REM *************************************************************************
    @REM This script is used to setup the needed environment to be able to start Weblogic Server in this domain.
    @REM
    @REM This script initializes the following variables before calling commEnv to set other variables:
    @REM
    @REM WL_HOME - The BEA home directory of your WebLogic installation.
    @REM JAVA_VM - The desired Java VM to use. You can set this environment variable before calling
    @REM this script to switch between Sun or BEA or just have the default be set.
    @REM JAVA_HOME - Location of the version of Java used to start WebLogic
    @REM Server. Depends directly on which JAVA_VM value is set by default or by the environment.
    @REM USER_MEM_ARGS - The variable to override the standard memory arguments
    @REM passed to java.
    @REM PRODUCTION_MODE - The variable that determines whether Weblogic Server is started in production mode.
    @REM DOMAIN_PRODUCTION_MODE
    @REM - The variable that determines whether the workshop related settings like the debugger,
    @REM testconsole or iterativedev should be enabled. ONLY settable using the
    @REM command-line parameter named production
    @REM NOTE: Specifying the production command-line param will force
    @REM the server to start in production mode.
    @REM
    @REM Other variables used in this script include:
    @REM SERVER_NAME - Name of the weblogic server.
    @REM JAVA_OPTIONS - Java command-line options for running the server. (These
    @REM will be tagged on to the end of the JAVA_VM and
    @REM MEM_ARGS)
    @REM

  • Namespace error with JAXB

    Hello everyone! This is my problem:
    I am using jaxb to unmarshall a xml file. When I unmarshall, the program doesnt work at this point:
    JAXBContext jc = JAXBContext.newInstance("com.claynet.core.clom");
    Unmarshaller u = jc.createUnmarshaller();
    u.setValidating(true);
    Clom clom =
    (Clom)u.unmarshal(
    new FileInputStream( ".." + File.separatorChar +
    "webapps"+ File.separatorChar + "claybrary" + File.separatorChar
    + "objetosCLOM" + File.separatorChar + file_name.trim()) );
    The error I get is the following one:
    javax.xml.bind.UnmarshalException: Probably namespace URI of tag "clom" is wrong (correct one is "http://www.clayformacion.com/xsd/clomv1.0")
    - with linked exception:
    [com.sun.msv.verifier.ValidityViolation: Probably namespace URI of tag "clom" is wrong (correct one is "http://www.clayformacion.com/xsd/clomv1.0")]
    The problem seems to be a conflict with the namespace, but the schema has the namespace correctly set:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:clom="http://www.clayformacion.com/xsd/clomv1.0" xmlns="http://www.clayformacion.com/xsd/clomv1.0" targetNamespace="http://www.clayformacion.com/xsd/clomv1.0" elementFormDefault="qualified">
    The validation inside the unmarshalling crash.
    Is there any errors with the code? Can Anyone help me?
    Thanks

    Looks like error is clear namespace mismatch...try changing the following url in wsdl and regen the code
    http://example.ws found http://example.ws/xsd

  • Error after upgrading to Weblogic Server 4.5.1

    Hi,
    We upgraded Weblogic server version 4.0.3 to version 4.5.1 service pack
    18. Since after the upgrade, when I try to check the version installed,
    I get the error message that T3 admin. is not found. I can't even use
    java utils to check my version. I have tried redoing the class path and
    shared library path, but nothing works. Can please somebody help me? We
    are using Solaris 2.7 operating system and JDK version 1.1.8_12.
    Thanks.

    Hi Robert,
    Thanks for the suggestion. I reinstalled 4.5.1 from the CD and everything works. I haven't installed the
    service patch 13 yet. My next question from you is: Do I need to make changes to the application to use it
    on WLS 4.5.1. This application was written around 4.0.3 and JDK 1.1.6. I have also upgraded the JDK to
    version "Solaris_JDK_1.1.7_08a".
    Following is the error I receive in the log file:

    under the /work/weblogic/classes directory. Logically, it should find everything. Application does display
    the Login page. It dies after I enter userId and password.
    Any input? Since you were so helpful last time, I thought I'll try my luck.
    Thanks.

    Hi Robert,
    Thanks for being so helpful. You have helped me more than the BEA tech support. I've been going in
    circle with them and not being able to find any answers. Well, the InitialReferenceConstants.class
    is part of NT install. I do have an NT development server, when I did the search on that class I
    found it in rmi/entention directory. I don't see it in Unix classes. Although, I downloaded the
    upgrade from BEA's website, may be I used the wrong download?
    Just for testing purpose, I copied that class file from my NT server to the Unix server and when I
    did the version check I got the ClassDef error on another Class. I kept copying the class files
    that it was not finding on my Unix server from my NT server. I'm down to a file that does not

  • Error Using Sequence in Weblogic

    I tried to use Sequence object in weblogic to generate auto-imcremental integers
    for my db insert keys. I first create a mydbsequece in oracle database. Then,
    I built a class in which I obtain a dataSource using jndi to look for my dataSource.
    And then use the ds to getConnection. After I had the connection, I do the following:
    Sequence sequence = new Sequence(con, "mydbsequence");
    int i = sequence.nextValue();
    When I call sequence.nextValue() method, I got the following error message: NullPointerException
    at Weblogic.jdbc.rmi.SerialConnection.createStatement(SerialConnection.java:65).
    Does anyone know what causes this error? and How do I fix it? Please advise me
    on this. Thank you very much.

    QinSequence is a non-standard JDBC object. It is an Oracle-specific class, which presumably
    takes a standard java.sql.Connection in it's constructor. Oracle has repeatedly created
    such new classes with methods claiming to take java.sql.* arguments, but in fact they
    require an Oracle-specific class. In this case, however, we might succeed anyway if
    we dig some. Can you show me the entire stacktrace of the exception?
    Please take the attached jar file, and put it in front of all the weblogic stuff
    in the server's classpath, and repeat the problem and show me the new exception.
    From the line, I am assuming you're on the 6.1 version of WebLogic. If not, forget the
    jar, and let me know.
