two problems:1.Using DBAdapter read records, but how to keep the records instead of deleting them after read.
2.i use the merge functionality in the outbound-DBadapter,but it only does INSERT,not UPDATE.

You are looking in wrong place. If you try to add new routing rule in RS component you will find two kinds of operation to choose (insert and update). You have probably built one rule (with insert operation) but the second one is not used.

A problem about Chinese encoding
When i access portal by SSL,I find one or two problems about encoding.
reshow these problems:
1. Locale be set to Chinese(zh_CN)
2. access portal by SSL
3. Administration/create portlet
Then the popup window's title will show a bad encoding.

I'm appreciated for any help.ANSI 0xFF is NBSP. NBSP in Unicode is 0x00A0... so neither 0x00FF (which is �) nor 0xF5F8 (which is in the "private use" range) is correct. Something really weird is going on.We are talking about CP1252 and in CP1252 0xFF is �
(see http://czyborra.com/charsets/iso8859.html for example) and thus is \u00FF correct.
btw. I would never use windows notepad as reference application. -
A very urgent deployment issue about DBAdapter
Hello All,
I have a very urgent deployment issue about DBAdapter.
That DBAdapter is connect to DB2 AS400 Database. I have a developing database (jdbc:as400://server01/TEST) and a production database (jdbc:as400://server01/PROD).
During developing, I used DBAdapter wizard to create it, and import some tables, and set the Adapter to use jabc/DB2DS as connection information for easily deployment later.
Then I deploy to Production. I configured Data-source.xml and oc4j-ra.xml rightly; I set DB connection point to production database. But the DBAdapter still write into developing Database.
I checked the DBAdapter, the imported tables are something like this, TEST.table1, TEST.table2. And there are a lot "TEST" located in DB2Writer_toplink_mapping.xml, DB2Writer.xml, TEST.schema, DB2Writer.table1.ClassDescriptor.xml.
This TEST is refrer to the TEST in connect String jdbc:as400://server01/TEST.
I think this might be the reason cause the problem. As to production database, "TEST" should replaced by "PROD". If I changed it manually, I have to change every time when switch between TEST and PROD. And I also don't know if it is safe to do it? (I tried, and bring some toplink mapping problem)
By the way, for Oracle Database, because we use 2 instances for testing and production with same schema name, and do not have this issue.

The idea is to set up all connections in the BPEL or ESB services with logical names, e.g. typically of the form eis/DB/MyFinancialSystem or eis/DB/MyLogisticsSystem. This way, you do not have to modify code when deploying it onto different environments that serve different purposes.
When moving your services through their lifecyle, on every environment you deploy these to you will have the same logical connections configured on each instance, e.g. for DEV, QA, SIT, UAT and PROD. Only, in case of QA the actual physical connection is configured to point to the QA instance of the systems that your services interact with whereas in case of UAT it points to the UAT instance of the same system.
Maybe your problem is caused by connecting as user "SomeUser" when running the DB Adapter wizard during development and actually selecting objects from a different schema than you used to connect with, e.g. "Test" in your case.

Problems about trackpad+keyboard when using Leopard on Macbook Pro
I'm using Macbook Pro Multitouch 2.4 and I have two problems while using this laptop. have anyone same problem with me?
1- about trackpad: I 'm not usually using tapping trackpad, but when I try to use tapping trackpad for a while, trackpad cannot tap. So I must change to click trackpad. When I logging out or restarting, the trackpad can tap again.
2-about keyboard+trackpad: I sometime get freezing keyboard+trackpad excepting power button. But when I close the lid to sleep my laptop and open it again, it return normal but after a while it continue this problem.
I'm using Leopard v1.5.3 although 1.5.2 also have the same situations.

When I try to stablish a secure connection (via
https://localhost:7002/AdminMain) the console gives me this error (please

below), which is the same when I run . startWebLogic.sh to start it.
Two questions:
1.- What is this problem about?
2.- Even with this error, I can see AdminMain in secure mode. Should I be

To answer your question, your computer checks all downloaded updates before installing them. It does this to make sure it's got the entire file and that the update will install correctly. The fact that validation fails on your machine probably means the file did not download correctly.
To install 10.5.3, simply go to this website, download the "10.5.3 combo update" and then run it on your Mac: http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ -
Two problems with Snow Leopard
I have two problems since I upgraded to Snow Leopard that I can't figure out how to fix. I have a Mac Mini hooked up to my TV and I from time to time remote into it and since upgrading I am getting an additional icon in my shares. If I click on it there are multiple copies of the drives on the mini. My time capsule does the same thing.

The second issue is when using spaces with keyboard short cuts the spaces icon that appears to show you which space you are moving into does not disappear after you have moved into the space. The only way I have been able to make it disappear is to select the space with the menu icon. When I do this it does disappear.
Anyone have any ideas about these problems??

Hello! I bought a minidisplay PORT to VGA adaptor and I had two problems.
Today before my presentation I had two problems with the adaptor: first one, part of the mac`s screen was cropped and the second one, after restarting my mac, the initial screen (with the apple logo) was also cropped. And it is still this way.
Could anyone help me ? I would be really appreciated.

A problem about EAXX We have some problem in our development when using "Creative OpenAL SDK . (ver 3.03)". We create "OpenAL device" using "Generic Software"
and play audio with EAX2.0. But the EAX effect works on one computer while it doesn't work on another one. Followings are the two computers' configuration:

Problem about space management of archived log files
Dear friends,
I have a problem about space management of archived log files.
my database is Oracle 10g release 1 running in archivelog mode. I use OEM(web based) to config all the backup and recovery settings.
I config "Flash Recovery Area" to do backup and recovery automatically. my daily backup schedule is every night at 2:00am. and my backup setting is "disk settings"--"compressed backup set". the following is the RMAN script:
Daily Script:

recover copy of database with tag 'ORA$OEM_LEVEL_0';
backup incremental level 1 cumulative copies=1 for recover of copy with tag 'ORA$OEM_LEVEL_0' database;
the retention policy is the second choice, that is "Retain backups that are necessary for a recovery to any time within the specified number of days (point-in-time recovery)". the recovery window is 1 day.
I assign enough space for flash recovery area. my database size is about 2G. I assign 20G as flash recovery area.
now here is the problem, through oracle online manual, it said oracle can manage the flash recovery area automatically, that is, when the space is full, it can delete the obsolete archived log files. but in fact, it never works! whenever the space is full, the database will hang up! besides, the status of archived log files is very strange, for example, it can change "obsolete" stauts from "yes" to "no", and then from "no" to "yes". I really have no idea about this! even though I know oracle usually keep archived files for some longer days than retention policy, but I really don't know why the obsolete status can change automatically. although I can write a schedule job to delete obsolete archived files every day, but I just want to know the reason. my goal is to backup all the files on disk and let oracle automatically manage them.
also, there is another problem about archive mode. I have two oracle 10g databases(release one), the size of db1 is more than 20G, the size of db2 is about 2G. both of them have the same backup and recovery policy, except I assign more flash recovery area for db1. both of them are on archive mode. both of nearly nobody access except for the schedule backup job and sometime I will admin through oem. the strange thing is that the number of archived log files of smaller database, db2, are much bigger than ones of bigger database. also the same situation for the size of the flashback logs for point-in-time recovery. (I enable flashback logging for fast database point-in-time recovery, the flashback retention time is 24 hours.) I found the memory utility of smaller database is higher than bigger database. nearly all the time the smaller database's memory utility keeps more than 99%. while the bigger one's memory utility keeps about 97%. (I enable "Automatic Shared Memory Management" on both databases.) but both database's cup and queue are very low. I'm nearly sure no one hack the databases. so I really have no idea why the same backup and recovery policy will result so different result, especially the smaller one produces more redo logs than bigger one. does there anyone happen to know the reason or how should I do to check the reason?
by the way, I found web based OEM can't reflect the correct database status when the database shutdown abnormally. for example, if the database hang up because of out of flash recovery area, after I assign more flash recovery area space and then restart the database, the OEM usually can't reflect the correct database status. I must restart OEM manually to correctly reflect the current database status. does there anyone know in what situation I should restart OEM to reflect the correct database status?

Two problems with a grep solution?

I have two problems that I need some help with. I've been searching around for solutions, but are unsure what approach that is the best:
A: I need a new (or next) paragraph style after TWO hard line breaks. How do I do this? Do i search for two line breaks in GREP and replace it with a "end of paragraph"? Or do I need scripting for it?
See the attached file for the actual layout solution. "1" is the current situation, and I want it to automaticly be "2".
B: We have just implemented a new text editor/system and it lacks a feature: In the body text there is no styling/labeling for "paragraph title". In other words, the paragraph titles show up in Indesign as plain body text.
This is a big source of error. So: Is there any way to search for sentences that lacks period (.) and change their styling? The paragraph titles are the onlye sentences without periods in the whole text.
I'll be VERY happy it someone can point me in the right direction, or provide a solution.

(?<![.,!])$
will find an end-of-paragraph where there is no period, comma, or exclamation before. But it has a few problems, though -- it doesn't "mark" anything as found, and InDesign does not like it. A solution is to find any character-which-is-not-punctuation:
[^.,!]$
If you are sure you want to skip all punctuation, you could try the built-in class name "punctuation":
[^[:punct:]]$
.. but I just saw a bit of an unexpected side effect: a hard return (which is "any code followed by the end of a paragraph", if one is applying the formula to the letter) also is "not punctuation" (again playing strictly by the rules). And you Can't Argue with the rules. So, alternative #1 would be to work around it with
[^[:punct:]\r]$
which is 'everything except punctuation OR a hard return'. Or let's forget all about that pesky punctuation-not-punctuation and search for a word character at the end of a paragraph:

1) I charged the iPod over USB 2 and my dockingstation already about five hours, but the red sign and the message that I don't have to disconnect my iPod is still there (battery status shows full)
2) With the docked iPod my computer doesn't boot anymore. When I disconnect the iPod it works :-/

Two problems with custom kernel
I get two problems with my custom kernel that is not using initrd and otherwise working fine:
1) initscripts does not print anything, i.e., I see the kernel messages and after a short while the login prompt. It seems to start the daemons, however, since my network is working. During shutdown the printout is working as usual.
2) the machine does not power off properly (just hangs/stops after saying that is now powers off).
I am missing some kernel options? Or do I have to configure something differently for not having an initrd?

Two Problems with Moto Droid--tips please!!
So, I've had my Motorola Droid for about two months now and I love it! However, two problems have cropped up recently and I'm getting a bit frustrated.
1) Pictures WILL NOT upload to Facebook anymore. It tries and then I get an error message. I have tried turning the phone off and back on, that didn't work. I have not been able to upload pics for several weeks now. I tried to uninstall the Facebook app and reinstall it just now, but it wouldn't even uninstall. Any advice, please?
2) Every once in awhile, it will show the battery as extremely low and be telling me to plug in the charger. Each time I had not used my phone barely at all, so there would be absolutely no reason for the battery to be dying. But when I turn the phone off so it won't completely die and then turn it back on once I connect the charger, the battery is back to being full charge. So now I can fix it every time by powering off and powering back on, but this is still annoying and I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! =)Thanks, but this is a situation where I am NOT running out all the battery--I will have a full charge one minute and the next it will show it as completely depleted. But if I just turn the phone off and then back on, the battery shows up as fully charged even if it's not on the charger. It's not really causing a major problem, it's just really annoying because restarting your phone is not exactly a 5-second process.
