ESS Detailed error format without DevelopmentMode set to true - Possible?

Hi fellow forum members,
When we enter the mobile phone number in the wrong format in the communication data in ESS, we get a nice error message that the format is indeed wrong. This is shown correctly on our DEV system. This is because in Visual Admin the DevelopmentMode is set to true.
In our QA system, the DevelopmentMode is set to false, because we want no large traces in our Portal during testing. However, we do want the detailed description (for example "Mobiel nummer dient altijd te beginnen met "00316" in the red box on the screenshot) to show up. This is not shown when we disable DevelopmentMode.
How can we make settings that this detail is shown, but we get no large dev trace in our Portal?

      There is another option to set the work offline mode with out opening the project itself. I think in your case it is better to set this property prior to open the project, why because after changing in the solution still you find some errors related to work offline. So I think it is better to follow the steps in the given link to set work offline mode without opening the project.

Hi all,
I want to post value of sales tax(JIN1 OR JIN2) values at Billing(VF01) without Automatic setting of FBKP.
Means to say I want to post above values with help of assiging a/c keys (MW3 & MWS) in Sales Pricing procedure and corresponding entries in VKOA with GL Account.
But while saving Billing(VF01) system is displaying ERROR "Error in account determination: table T030K key ECOA MW3." , because I have remove GL against MW3 in FBKP and assigned in VKOA.
Pls suugest the solution/config. in detail.

You have to maintain the above condition types in tax procedure and maintain the account keys in TAX PROCEDUR and donot maintain in PRICING PROCEDURE. Also ensure that you have maintained respective G/L account in OB40 and not in VKOA..

Recover db without backup sets rman

Hi,
Is there any way to restore the database without backup sets. We have the recent incremental backup, however the backupsets have failed.
Please advise.

Currently, we are encountering "DRM Error 3321" because our PCs/Notebooks do NOT have connection to internet for “http://individualization.adobe.com”. Thoese PCs are in isolated network and can NOT connect to internet.
Is there a way to solve this issue without connecting their PCs/Notebooks to internet?

Hi Soe,
Unfortunately there is no way to resolve this error without connecting to the Internet at least once. This initial connection is required to create and download the device specific key as mentioned in this post (http://forums.adobe.com/message/6240315). Once you have established that initial connection, you can play content offline assuming your content licenses are constructed correctly. Some content providers will require at least an initial connection to their license servers as well, although once you have the device specific key you can play files protected with PHLS or PHDS without further license acquisition.

SSIS - Getting the detailed error message from a FTP Task

Greetings all,
I'm working on a SSIS package that pulls a file down from an FTP server, then has its way with it.
Under expected conditions, everything is working perfectly. However, I never want to download the same file twice. In order to enforce this, I just set the OverWriteFileAtDest option to false. Obviously, if the file has already been brought over, the package
fails. This is the intended functionality.
However, in such a case I want to handle the error separately. Now, when I setup a EventHandler to deal with it, the error message that's passed over is:
"Error: An error occurred in the requested FTP operation"
Oh joy. Ambiguity at its finest. However, the detailed description is:
"Receiving file "/server/folder/file.XLS". File "\\server\folder\file.XLS" already exists.
Try as I might, I can't seem to capture the detailed error message so that I can act on it. I'm looking for a way to capture this info, pass it to an expression, and then handle it from there.

Did you try enabling logging for the package and capturing it in SQL table which case you should get error messages in sysssislog table

Failed to send invitation emails to recipients. detailed error: an error occurred while sending mail.

I tried to send a distributed form out to myself to check the system and received this error message: failed to send invitation emails to recipients. detailed error: an error occurred while sending mail. Any idea what I may have done wrong? I am using Microsoft Outlook 2010 with Windows 8.1 OS.

I think century link did change some settings though.
Help menu (Alt+H) > troubleshooting information. Copy to clipboard and paste into a reply here. Then I can see what setting your using with century link and compare them to what century link provide.

Import error due to character set difference?

hoping anyone to explain reason for the following import error.
here's the situation,
- export client used WE8MSWIN1252 charset (release v10.02.01)
- import server used WE8ISO8859P1 charset (release v10.1.0.4)
all tables appeared to be imported without error, except that import terminated unsuccesfully due to oracle error 2248

It is difficult to say what is the current state of the database, so it is recommended to reexport and reimport the object definitions. You may miss some other stuff like object types, contraints, etc. Table data should be OK, so reexport should not include data.
As far as character sets are concerned, because of the difference between the export client character set and the import server character set, you may have lost some characters in the code range 0x80-0x9f. This includes Euro sign, TM, sign, "smart" quotes, en- and em-dash, etc. Use the Windows charmap.exe to see all the codes. If you have some of these codes in the source database, you have lost them on import (they got converted to the reverse quotation mark code 0xbf).

Failing to Delete/Remove Project Server Service Application, giving error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

I have installed Project Server 2013 on SharePoint 2013, and installed the first PWA which worked. But I needed to change some configurations and so I deleted the PWA instances, but now I cannot delete the Project Server Service Application. Every attempt
to delete the Service Application it gives the error above, namely:

I am Entering Purchase A/P Invoice base on purchase Delivary Note.
I got the above Error.
I already set all items in this invoice as excisable item.

my company wants to print tax distribution on invoice like this

Basic excise 16%: 16.00

TOTAL : 135.90
I used group with repetative frame in PLD
by using table A/R invoice - tax per document.
i got distributed tax on tax account from above table.
this is not got in proper manner described above because of sort on tax account code.
also i didn;t get tax type name.
i want to relate that tax account with tax account type.
please how i can relate it with other table column
There is two fields available on content tab of document property window of PLD.
1) relate to
2) segment
Please tell about this field.
is it used for what ???????

Self Registration Approval Details Error

I am trying to raise a self registration request. The Self Registration Request is raised but remains in Request Received status. This is the standard SR and should go to xelsysadm account for approval.
When I click on the request and try to see Approval Details it gives me the following error. PLEASE HELP ASAP.

ume.logon.selfreg is set to TRUE
ume.admin.selfreg_company is set to TRUE
You have defined companies
ume.tpd.companies is set to a value other than 0.
The action UME Selfregister_User is assigned to the role Everyone.

Click on DU's Partition tab when you have the raw drive name selected, then set it to one partition, Mac OS Extended. If it crashes or freezes, it is finding a bad block and can't write.
In any event, if you want to use the drive, and have not zeroed it before, you should now.
Click on Erase -> Security Options -> Zero out data. Still with the full drive selected and not any partition(s).
Then repartition the drive if needed.
Boot from the DVD if that doesn't work. And no, TTPro has never mapped out bad blocks let alone create partitions.
Disk Utility in 10.4.8 is quite good, excellent in fact. No need for an alternative.
Your eMac drive may need to touch of Disk Utility itself. FSCK from the command line, clear the caches with Applejack along with check for corrupt plists. Between Disk Utilty and Applejack (free/shareware) never had to use TechTool Pro - or at least there weren't any errors after those two got done. But if you want a good 3rd party, pick up Disk Warrior 4.

Error formatting Cross-Tab table

Hello!
My CR2008 reports include many cross-tab tables and till now, everything went smoothly.
...till I got the message "Error formatting Cross-Tab table" while viewing the print preview.
Technically the error comes up while clicking one of the groups itemized on the left.
The database hasn't changed. Besides it happened with two different reports associated with two different data bases.
Any idea ?
Any help would be appreciated as I've been lost for a while.

Before I received your answer (thanks a million by the way), I have been installing/un-installing subreports in the main report 'til the 'Error formatting Cross-Tab table' stops.
The Error stopped occurring when I added a small Group Footer in the subreport : apparently the Error had begun when I had put it to a zero-height.
Having said that, an hour later and many changes here and there, I have just put a zero-height again and no Error anymore...

Within 'an hour later and many changes here and there', I did the opposite : I widened a subreport which did not fit in the main report. And the Error isn't raised anymore.

You mean if I double-click the subreport to edit it ?
If that is your question, no Error has ever been raised in the subreport : always in the Preview tab of the Main Report.
Sorry for describing such an irrational behavior.
I will categorize my question as answered but if you have any idea, I'd be delighted : I feel like this can happen again and I'd be less under stress to know what detail/ 'parameter' makes CR raise this Error. But your hint about the subreport fitting or not within the main report might be a clue.
