Estimate form for my window cleaning service

Hello
Thanks in advance for help , I really enjoy being a Mac user , I would like to build website for my window cleaning service . Trying to figure out if I could create a form  where user views pictures of window types and enters number of windows then it totals price for each type of window , and creates estimate.

Complicated stuff!
Have a look at this to see what a service does for you....

  • WCF service application hosted in IIS for reading Windows server service bus topic/subscription

    We have a WCF service application(not web application) which is deployed in IIS 8 pointing to the windows server service bus topic/subscription. We have configured the WCF service with applicationInitialization feature of IIS 8 to warm up.
    But the WCF service is not reading any message from the topic/subscription.
    configured in web.config file as below
    <system.webServer>
    <applicationInitialization>
    <add initializationPage="/MyService.svc" />
    </applicationInitialization>
    </system.webServer>
    When we run the same from visual studio its reading messages from topic/subscription.
    any configuration/settings which we are missing?

    You probably  didn't initialize correctly the auto-start. Btw. I would recommend you to use AppFabric for this feature. It is more transparent in development and production.
    Please take a look on following posts:

  • Essential System Updates for Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1)

    Hi, I want to know if this is applicable to sp2 as well. I don't know why there is not one for sp2. I have a hpg60 laptop and this is listed on the drivers page.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    It is just a rollup of Vista updates. All are included in SP2 so you can forget about it. Just apply SP2 (as you did) and run a full MS update and you will be fine.

  • Windows 7 very slow logon, Waiting for the User Profile Service, winlogon event 6006

    Hello,
    Every so often one of our Windows 7 clients which is not normally having any delay at logon will take a very long time to login. This may be 10 or 20 minutes or up to an hour in some cases.
    Typically the event log will contain entries like
    The winlogon notification subscriber <Profiles> took 572 second(s) to handle the notification event (Logon).
    There is no further information available from Event Log Online Help, nor any additional detail as to why the logon event was so slow. During the delay the user will just see "Waiting for the User Profile Service" on their screen.
    We first started seeing this problem with Windows Vista and if anything the situation has not improved since then. It has never happened with any of our Windows XP users.
    We are currently planning a migration of computers to Windows 7 but stuff like this which has not been resolved in Windows over a 2 year period will stall that migration. The least improvement is to increase the event notification to give a lot more
    information on why the user profile processing has stalled.

    Hi,
    When did the issue begin to occur? Did it occur after installing certain application or applying certain policy?
    To troubleshoot the issue, please perform the following step.
    1. Restart the machine in Safe Mode with Networking to check whether the system can login quicker.
    2. Type “gpedit.msc” in Search box and press Enter. Navigate to the following location:
    Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->System->Logon
    Please double click “Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon” policy and disable it.
    3. Perform a
    Clean Boot to check the result.
    Thanks,
    Novak

  • Windows update cannot currently check for updates, because the service is not running. You may need to restart your computer.

    I've read through quite a few post and ran the MGADiag on the system in question.
    I tried turning Auto update on and off, rebooted, removed a ton of malware, and have scanned multiple times using Hiron's to make sure it's clean. After all that, it still gets the exact same error referenced in the subject line. At this point I'm in serious
    contention to do the 'upgrade' to repair the OS. Windows 7 Home Prem OA is listed on the tag attached to the tower.

  • Rescue And Recovery On Clean Install Of Windows XP Service Pack 2

    Hey,
    I have recently purchased a refurbised IBM ThinkPad T40 2373-82M laptop computer. When I received the computer it did not have any recovery partition or recovery CD's that came with it. I then installed my own personal copy of Windows XP Service Pack 2 on the machine and installed drivers and applications individually by downloading them off the Lenovo support website. However, I have attempted to install the latest version of the ThinkVantage Rescue And Recovery Program (Version 4.20) on my computer but I end up with the following error: 'There is not enough free space on the computer to install or upgrade the Rescue and Recovery environment'. When I did a full clean install on the system I deleted all partitions that were on the computer at the time during the Windows XP installation and made a single NTFS partition. There were two 20GB partitions on the hard drive when I bought it, but neither of them were the IBM Rescue and Recovery partition. Could it be possible for me to install this software on my laptop, and make a Rescue and Recovery partition, now and make it the same way it would of been when it left the IBM factory?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Ash.

  • "Invalid printer specified" for 32bit Windows Service in 64bit Server

    Hi All,
    I'm having some issues with crystal reports.
    My development environment:
    Visual Studio 2008, 32bit Windows XP
    Running environment:
    Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 64 bit
    Crystal Reports Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008 (x86)
    I've created two applications: one is console application and one is windows service. Both application run same codes to print crystal reports to printers and run at 32 bit. I can have multiple instance of console application running without any issues. When I run the windows service version, the first time the service works fine. But after I restarted the windows server, the crystal report throw Sysstem.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException.
    The detail of the exception is:
    System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80000201):
    Invalid printer specified.
       at CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.Controllers.PrintOutputControllerClass.ModifyPrinterName(String newVal)
       at CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.PrintOptions.set_PrinterName(String value)
       at Company.PrintReport(ReportClass report, String printerName)
    Both console application and windows service run at 32 bits. The user runs the service is domain controller who has admin permission. And the same problem happened on an web application hosted on IIS of the same server.
    What I've done so far:
    1. Set the printer option in the report to no printer
    2. Try install the crystal report x64
    3. For the windows service build for x86.
    Please some one help me in this.
    Cheers

    That is a rather strange issue.
    Make sure you are killing the report object once you're doen with it. E.G;
    Dim report as New ReportDocument
    Protected Sub Page_load()
    End Sub
    Private Page_Unload()
    report.close()
    report.dispose()
    GC.Collect
    End Sub
    //C# (on form open):
    private void WebForm1_Init(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
        if (boReportDocument != null)
            boReportDocument.Close();
            boReportDocument.Dispose();
            GC.Collect();
    // C# on form close
    private void Page_Unload(object sender, EventArgs e)
            if (boReportDocument != null)
            { boReportDocument.Close();
                boReportDocument.Dispose();
                GC.Collect();
    If closing and disposing does not help, is htis happening on your dev computer or after you move that app to another server?

  • REMOTE DESKTOP SERVICES CLIENT ACCESS LICENSES FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS SERVER 2012 STANDARD AND DATACENTER

    I am using a window 7 professional  service pack 1 and I purchase REMOTE DESKTOP SERVICES CLIENT ACCESS LICENSES FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS SERVER 2012 STANDARD AND DATACENTER. but  the seller did not send me any installation CD or instruction
    on how to use it.
     Please how can I use it on my window 7 professional  service pack 1.
    Thank you.

    Though Bill is absolutely correct for most CALs, Remote Desktop Services does have its own special licensing server.  I haven't installed one on 2012, yet, but here is a step-by-step guide for 2008.
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd983943(v=ws.10).aspx
    Here is a lab guide for 2012 -
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj134160.aspx
    But, the explanation of your environment begs the question - what are you trying to do?  You say you have a desktop OS and you are talking about Windows Server products.  In that light, your question does not make a lot of sense.
