Eval function problem in new version

Hello,
I was using obiee 11.1.1.5 now migrated to 11.1.1.6.
Now there is a report where i use Evalaute function but in new version its giving me following error while running the report
[nQSError: 43113] Message returned from OBIS. EVALUATE_SUPPORT_LEVEL inside NQSConfig.INI is not set to support EVALUATE. (HY000)
Previous version i don't rem setting anything in Config file.

Changes to the NQSConfig.ini
under the [SERVER] section
add (if exists, please change) following line
EVALUATE_SUPPORT_LEVEL = 2;
Save and re-start BI Server.

Had the same problem as you. App would terminate when launched.
Solution to working You Tube app:
-Go to playstore
- Uninstall app (it doesn't remove the app, only removes the update)
- "Et Voila", working again.
This doesn't correct the problem, it's just a workaround for you to be able to use youtube app again.

The show duplicates/show exact duplicates features have been left out of iTunes 11. Rumor suggests they will be restored in the next build. In the meantime I have written two Windows scripts to make playlists of Duplicates and Exact Duplicates, either from a selection of tracks or the entire library.
If you want to manually remove duplicate tracks use shift-delete to remove selected tracks from the library as well as the playlist. Keep one of each repeated group of files and don't send to the recycle bin unless you are sure that there are multiple files on the disc as opposed to multiple entries to the same file.
There is also my DeDuper script if you don't want to do it by hand. This can preserve ratings, play counts, playlist membership, etc. which are lost in a manual clean up. Please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping. See this thread for background on deduping and the script.

Safari Problems Since New Version

So I'm someone who actually likes using Safari and I used to experience very few problems with it. Until recently. This started happening as soon as Apple released the new version (can't remember the version number), the one with the improved reader in the side bar (a feature that I love).
For reference: I always update my stuff, so I have the latest versions of everything that the OS will allow on both comptuers that are experiencing the problem.
One machine is my laptop, running the latest Lion (10.7.2) and the other is an iMac at work, funning the latest version of Snow Leopard. I also often run MacKeeper to clean the system cache's etc.
1. Both computers running Safari exhibit a strage problem in which, at randome times, all the browers reset and reload. I'm trying to find out what causes this, but because it is so random, it's hard to identify the cause.
2. My laptop, a 2008 MacBook (2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2BG RAM), often shows a spinning rainbow ball when browsing in Safari. This is happnening more frequently with the more recent update and the time it spins is longer.
3. Flash-based site seems to have more trouble with Safari. It's not that they don't work, they just are a but slower than they used to be. This is more noticeable on my laptop, which makes me wonder if it's processor or memory issue. Though I have a hard time seeing why, as the problem was not there just a few months ago.
In contrast Firefox does not exhibit these problems, though I admit I do not like using it as much, and it has its own problems.
There may not be an answer to this. My hope is that Apple is monitoring these forums and taking note these bugs. I do not seem to be the only one having them. But, of course, if anyone has any advice, it is appreciated.
Oh, before you answer, "Buy more RAM," know that I am considering doing that, but my experience with past laptops and computers in my 15 years of using Macs is that RAM upgrades deliver almost unoticeable improvements and that answer is more often buggy software.

Yes, Bee, I clear the cache and history on a regualr basis, and I clear the cookies, too. And this was my habit when Safari was working fine for me, so it's not that.
Interesting what you say about MacKeeper. Others on this site seem to detest it, though I haven't see it cause any trouble (I don't use their anti-virus stuff or any realtime protection, though, I only use it for cleaning up duplicate files, etc.). I'll read more about it.
And I installed that way before the new versions of Safari came out and had no problems then, either, so I don't think it's the culprit.

@Spotify What sort of kind of question is this? Are you implying that no one at Spotify has a basic understanding of usability? It sure seems like it. First, I have to ask why would Spotify ever remove a feature that is in active use? Second, why do the product managers/developers at Spotify not understand the existing use of "find" or "filter"? The reason this feature was put into the product is the reason it should stay in the product. This sort of functionality has existed in computer interfaces for decades. Visual search (i.e. having a human being visually scan every item manually) is very slow and prone to error. When there is more than a little information on the screen, having the computer search for the human is much more efficient and less prone to error. I would suggest everyone at Spotify get as much remedial education as possible in usability. How can I perform the LINEST function using the new version of Numbers? The old method of using "command enter" to complete the array function does not work. Please help ASAP!!!

Thank you for your help. This page is somewhat helpful, but I still don't quite understand. I am using the Numbers program, and my assignment calls for me to use the LINEST function to return a set of 10 values.
When I googled how to do this, a lot of pages mentioned hitting "command+enter" to complete the array function, but they were using an older version of Numbers and it doesn't do anything when I try it in the new version. I tried using "Index" with LINEST, and i've managed to get about 5 values out of it.

Problems with newer version of Netbeans

I get an error message when executing an application written using Netbeans 3.3.2 in the newer version of Netbeans. It says it can't find the servlet that is used.
What should be changed to get it to work with the newer version of Netbeans and why does it work in an older version of Netbeans and not the new version?!!!
The exact error message was:
The requested resource (/servlet/controller/EndUsers/Search) is not available.

this isn't a netbeans problem...
this rather seems to be a problem of packages that can be found or not found.
make sure you have all the correct jars/packages mounted..
try to recompile it first!

Loss of functionality in new version

Beware of the new version of Blackberry Desktop if you are using Desktop Redirectory. It is missing in the new version. I have to uninstall and downgrade to the old version to get it back.
If you have an exchange server but no BES server, you must rely on desktop redirector to get mail on your device.
Is this a new trend for software manafactures? Create new versions and lose function the old versions had? I thought Microsoft was the only one that did that!

Until then you will have to resort to sorting by a particular label such as artist and manually scanning, third party utilities such as Dougscripts Dupin (Mac) or https://discussions.apple.com/message/20570956 (Windows) to deal with duplicates, or revert back to iTunes 10.7.

IDLE event problem with newer versions of the flash player

I have an issue that seems to be related to newer versions of the flashplayer in how they handle IDLE events. I have an IDLE event handler that works as expected with flashplayer version 10.0.45.2. With flashplayer 10.2.153.1, the IDLE event does not fire when my flex application is not in focus (browser minized, different browser tab in focus,etc...). Or when it fires, it's usually after a longer lag than normal. Has anyone experienced this issue? Thanks

Say I have a need to create a timer that fires every 10 minutes regardless of whether the player is in focus or not, how do I implement such a timer? Same goes for the IDLE event, I want to be notified if the application has been idle for X minutes regardless of whether it's in focus or not.Prior to 10.2 (and per your reply, 10.1), this all worked fine in flex without needing to adjust for the player being in focus.

Problem deploying new version of 3rd party jar

I have a third party jar file that was recently updated with to a new version. I deleted the old jar file and replaced it with the new version. Modified classpath accordingly. The strange thing is that the only way I could get the classes that use this jar file to work was to recompile them. What am I missing?

When replacing a jar file it is alway a good idea to recompile against it... this ensures backward compatibity and also prevents Incompatible Class Change Errors. Your new 3rd party jar may not be completely backwards compatible, although it is always a good idea to recompile when implementing a new jar that your application depends on.

[E61] Blackberry problem after new version

After upgrading via NSU my E61 in new 3.0633.09.04 version, the Blackberry client is no longer work, impossible to reinstall: this software is incompatible with this OS.

Problem with new version 10.1.3.2

I just downloaded the new jhs version 10.1.3.2.51 (jdev 10.1.3.2.0) .
After re-enabling my ViewController project I opened one Application definition file for doing some changes.
After saving the Application definition file and trying to re-edit or generate I get "Application Structure File appears to be in an invalid state" - the first line
<?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'windows-1252' standalone = 'yes'?> has gone!!!
What is going on?

the problem is not group-related. I reduced my application definition file just to the service level. After modifying i.e. generateJavaScript from "true" to "false" and saving the xml header is gone!

Just of late, Firefox will not open, have tried to uninstall, but it tells me I have to shut Firefox but it is not open! same problem downloading new version

Wherever I find Firefox on my computer, it will not open. i cannot get beyond the icon or the file. Clicking on them gets no result.
If I try to uninstall and download again, it tells me it cannot proceed in either case until I close Firefox. But it will not close. So I am totally stuck. It worked well up to about a fortnight ago.

in some cases this error at startup might also be a symptom of malware active on the pc. please do a full scan of your system with your security software already in place and/or an alternative like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/ free version of malwarebytes].
