Every day Expired subscription clean up job fails on publisher server

Dear All,
Few days back I configured transactional replication b/w 2 server after that every day I noticed
Expired subscription clean up job fails on publisher server but not any effect to replication it's going smooth.
ERROR MESSAGE:
Only functions and some extended stored procedures can be executed from within a function. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 557). The step failed
please help me!!!

Actuvally already I configured replication for this server 3 database after we moved to another server for some h/w issue.
that time we deleted subscriber and publisher and break transaction replication.
after new server configuration it's allow to configure replication for 2 databases only.
as per above query I found category 1 for 3 databases but 2 databases are in replication.
the another databases that showing category 1 is past in replication, but it doesn't allow to configure replication.
please give me solution for same .

The merge process could not clean up the conflict table "[MSmerge_conflict_recordings_items]" for publication "recordings".
I think I know which table (items in db recordings). it has a computed field with a replicated text index on it.
the computed field definition is:
(ltrim(isnull([item_title],'')+' ')+isnull([item_desc],'')) which are 2 other fields in the table nvarchar allowing nulls.
what do I need to do to stop the cleanup job from crashing.

Getting e-mails every day regarding subscription expiration

I keep getting e-mails saying that my subscription has expired and my payment method has failed. I had an issue last year where someone charged 8.00AUD to my Skype account. This was not me, so I contacted Skype support and changed my password as requested. The 8.00AUD credit was removed from my account, but never refunded to my debit card. My account was then placed on lock from purchasing any services. I contacted them to have them remove the lock, but it was never removed. Now the problem... I keep getting e-mailed once or twice a day EVERY day saying my subscription has expired and they can't process the payment on file. I don't understand this. I don't have a subscription nor could I have a payment profile since my account is LOCKED. I don't even know if the e-mail is correctly associated with my account, it has my first name, but offers no account information. I checked my account online and in the application and I have no subscriptions listed at all. I've tried for the past week or so to use the support portal to put a ticket in or speak to someone, but every time I go there it says "Sorry, we're having problems. Please try again later" I have been seeing this message everytime I try to put a support ticket in for the past few months at least. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

LIS job failed due to server restart

Hi Experts,
One of out LIS jobs on queue MCEX11 is failed due to a system restart in ECC. What are the steps we need to take to make sure no data is lost or how we can confirm that there is no data loss due to this restart.

I tried below solutions to resolve the isue but no luck
1) I ran below query against publish and draft DB's but didnt get any records for both DB's (i have 2 baseline in my project i.e. Baseline0 and Baseline1)

Some jobs fail BackupExec, Ultrium 215 drive, NW6.5 SP6

The OS is Netware 6.5 SP6.
The server is a HP Proliant DL-380 G4.
The drive is a HP StorageWorks Ultrium LTO-1 215 100/200GB drive.
The drive is connected to a HP PCI-X Single Channel U320 SCSI HBA, which I recently installed, in order to solve slow transfer speeds, and to solve CPQRAID errors which stalled the server during bootup (it was complaining to have a non-disk drive on the internal controller).
Backup Exec Administrative Console is version 9.10 revision 1158, I am assuming that this means that BE itself has this version number.
Since our data is now more than the tape capacity I have recently started running two jobs interleaved, to backup (around) half of the data at night. One which runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday and one which runs Tuesday and Thursday.
My problem is that while the Tue/Thu job completes succesfully every time, the Mon/Wed/Thu job fails every time.
The jobs have identical policies (except for the interleaved weekdays), but different file selections.
The job log of the Mon/Wed/Thu job fails with this error:

I am suspecting the new controller, or perhaps a broken drive?
I have run multiple cleaning jobs on the drive with new cleaning tapes. The cabling is secured in place.
I have looked for firmware updates, but even though theres a mentioning of a new firmware on hp's site (see http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...odTypeId=12169), I can't find the firmware for netware HP LTT (the drive diagnosis / update tool).
I'm hoping someone can provide me some useful info towards solving this problem.

My suggestion to you is to probably just give up on fixing this. I
have the same DL380, but a slightly newer drive(Ultrium 448). After
working with HP, Adaptec, & Symantec for over a year I gave up. I've
tried different cards (HP-LSI, Adaptec) , cables, and even swapped the
drive twice with HP but was never able to get it to work.
In the end I purchased a new server, moved the card and tape drive,
and cables all over to the new server and the hardware has been
working fine in the new box for the last year or so. Until I loaded l
SP8 the other day.
My guess is that the PCI-X slot used for these cards isn't happy with
the server hardware.

Maybe it's a dialog and no system or background user. so the job fails.

Samba Stops Every day at 22:58

Hi,
We have 1 windows XP machine in our network. Now i have turned on Windows Service on the mac Server, configured as Standalone Server.
Made one shared point windows acceseble.
And it is working. BUT, every day at 22:58 SAMBA is stoped on the server :
[2006/10/17 22:58:26, 0] /SourceCache/samba/samba-92.9/samba/source/nmbd/nmbd.c:terminate(56)
Got SIGTERM: going down...
The rest of the server is working without any problems.
When i stop the Windows Service and start it again .. It is working again ...
What is going on .. ? The server is 10.4.8
XP is updated to the latest version of al secu updates ..

If this is R/3, then none of the above jobs should exist in the system, if scheduled by default with other standard jobs, then these should be removed

Yes you can, when you create the job in sm36 you have the ability to have "no start after %date,time%"
I mean you can restrict the required date and time from Start0 "Condition ->Date & Time" tab of SM36

You'll probably want a repeat interval like this:
FREQ=DAILY;BYHOUR=11,17;BYMINUTE=30;BYSECOND=0The DBMS_SCHEDULER package provides a procedure called EVALUATE_CALENDAR_STRING which allows you to test different repeat intervals and see if they meet your requirements. They even provide example code that you can easily copy and modify.
The documentation also goes into great detail about the Calendaring Syntax. It's worth a read.
For example here is the code I used to test your requirement.

WRT54GS fails every day 16:30

Greetings,
At my office for the past two weeks, the wireless connection has failed every day at the same time: 4:30pm. I have bypassed the router completely and am able to connect to the internet via cable connection during that time. The modem shows no interruption.
I'm not sure what my next troubleshooting steps would be...any words of advice?

Maybe you changed your router settings(Access Restriction or so)...Just reset the router to factory defaults...
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
Also disable any firewalls, security softwares on the computer before trying to access the setup page...
