Every time I download an app on one of my apple devices, it automatically goes onto both of the other devices. How do I stop this from happening?

On the device that you don't want the apps to be downloaded on, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Automatic Downloads. Once you turn that off, your problem will be fixed.

You should be able to open both accounts.
I believe Hotmail T&C may expect you to have only one account, but possibly multiple alliases.
You may have problems opening two separate hotmail accounts at once in Firefox. Try using a new private browsing window for the second one. With any look that will separate them enough for you to use both at once.
(With other account holders permission.) I sometimes open my own and another persons hotmail account by that method.

If it appears in the Dock, control-click it and uncheck Open at Login. Otherwise, open the Accounts pane of System Preferences and remove it as well as anything which may launch it from the list of login items for your user account.

There has to be a reason for that which a crash report should reveal.

I would strongly advise you not to let it sit in the Inbox.
When you see this happening, try right-click on the affected folder, select '''Properties''' then '''Repair Folder'''.
Large folders (actually, a folder in Thunderbird is stored as a file, so it is sensitive to file size limits set by the underlying file system) can be problematic. There is no bug, there is no patch, and no one needs to delete any email addresses. You can share the same Apple ID in
Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: here
But for all other Apple services like:
FaceTime, iMessage, iCloud, etc, one of you should use a different Apple ID.

This is part of Lion's Resume feature (I assume you are on Lion).
A couple of things you can do: System Preferences>General and deselect 'Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps'.

The way I sync mine is to have an 'master' folder on my computer, and underneath it I have separate folders for the photos that I want to sync to the iPad - I then select the master folder in iTunes and the folders underneath it are synced to the iPad, each getting their own album.
