Every time i type an address into the address bar it opens a new tab. Is there a way to set it up so it just takes me to the page in the opened tab

Because i'd really like to be able to open a tab without having to close another.

I am trying to update Mozilla on my computer, but every time I try, it tells me to close Mozilla, even when it is. Is there a way to see if something is still open?

Mozilla keeps telling me to download its newest version. So I go to do it. I save the file, click on run, then the Mozilla downloading wizard comes up. I keep on clicking "Next" until the it gives me the option of downloading with common settings or customizing my own settings. I click next and then it checks my existing installation. It tells me to close Mozilla. That's all it says. Close Mozilla. So I do. Then I click next again, it checks my installation again, then says I must close Mozilla. After I closed it. I suspect there's an add-on or a widget that is still open, I don't how to check what's still open. And if that's not the problem, then what is?!

Not in the Safari browser she can't. That is not supported on the iPad. There are other mobile browsers that do have that functionality - one is iCab Mobile.

Every time I drag a clip into the events library Final Cut Pro X crashes.

Every time I drag a clip into the events library Final Cut Pro X crashes. The import appears to have occured successfully despite the crash as it is in the folder when I reopen FCPX. But having to restart the program every time I import is annoying and suggests the program is deficient. The only imports I have tried so far are from iMovie, its sister program.

Have you tried dumping the preferences file, always my first item when issues arise in the FC family. Second, have you tried different file types? It could be a file issue, FCX not recognizing it (letting you import, but throwing up afterwards).

I keep getting a "You've been signed out" error every time I try to sign into the CC desktop app.

I have windows 8 and for some reason every time I try to log into the creative cloud app on my computer it tells me I have been signed out and it brings me back to the log in page. Why is pages scrolling to the top of the page every time I type something?

Every time I type something, or hit any key for that matter, my document scrolls to the top of whichever page I'm working on and I am unable to see what I am typing. It just started doing this last night, so I feel that I must have clicked something. Any suggestions?

You're not current with the OS version and you didn't say which release of Pages you have. Version 4.0.5 is the latest. See Pages, About Pages.
I'd suggest, in this order:
Close your apps.
Download and Install the 10.6.7 Combo Update
Run Software Update and accept all the revisions for 10.6.7 and Pages
Try again with Pages.
If still having trouble, try in another, new, User Account.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. Yes, S-video cables do not carry sound.
When you import 16:9 into DV Widescreen, make sure that you have UNchecked 'automatic letterboxing'.
In Preferences, is the project set to the correct standard?
29.95 fps = NTSC
25 fps = PAL.
