Everytime I boot up firefox, this help page occurs, won't close and then will reappear dozens of times at the same time
All of s a sudden, my home pages takes forever to come up and when I try to call up another web address,The mozilla hlp page appears. If I try to close it, new tabs will appear,often dozens of them all attempting to reopen the mozilla help page.
The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR suitable for your PC (there's a 32-bit Windows version and a 64-bit Windows version). Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, see if iTunes will launch without the error now.
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.) -
Sometimes a web page appears with only text and no picures. It is not always the same site and does not always happen. If I switch to Explorer for the same web site it always works

can anyone help me? my a key, z key, q key, anf backapace key do not work for some reason and when they do it just types out a bunch if random letters and symbols. im not sure how to fix this but apple wont talk to me unless i lirchase something and i can afford to do that. need this comp to work for achool isnthwre a way tonremive keys ans see whats wrong?

1. Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM and SMC. Doesn't usually 'cure' keyboard problems you report, but it costs nothing and only takes a few minutes.

2. Try plugging in a USB keyboard. Doesn't absolutely have to be a Mac keyboard. A PC keyboard will work for a test. If the typing problem does not occur with the USB keyboard, you have a temporary solution until you can arrange to visit a repair facility.
3. If your MacBook is older and has a user-removable battery, shut down the computer, remove the battery, and examine it for signs of 'bulging' or swelling. Then connect the computer to the Magsafe power supply, without reinstalling the battery, and turn it back on. If the keyboard problem has gone away, it was likely caused by a swelling battery. -

HELP! Files won't open and previously had Firefox icon instead of DW icons! Leap Year thing?
Hi! I went to update my website, which I do every night before the first day of every month and all the files had a FIrefox icon instead of the usual Dreamweaver one. I have shut down, reinstalled DW MX 2004 but the files still do not open. The icons have now changed to DW but they are not opening with right click, opening from Applications folder, double clicking the file, from get info and open with DW. I am stumped. HELP! Need to update for March 1st.
Is it something to do with Leap Year 29th Feb? Checked the clock in preferences but can't see how this affects it.

I am not late with updating the site, which is about New Zealand culture,
month by month (www.englishteacher.co.nz). Probably only the third time I
have been late since 2005. Not a huge amount of traffic, ~300 a month and
free access to content but I would like to solve this problem.

When I open Firefox it gives this error, ReferenceError: mtRpt is not defined, and then open normally. How do I fix it?
This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I would like to create the a swatch, add it to the library and import to the swatch panel. The help pages available relate to earlier versions of Muse, which does not work with the 2014.2 release version that I have. I have created a library folder, imported the colour swatch as just 4 colours as a mulib file. I drag the four colours on to the muse page in design view but that is as far as I get. Can anyone help? I don't know since I don't share anything. You'll have to peruse the help files and check the permissions and ACLs on the Shared folder. According to the permissions on the Shared folder everyone can R&W. If you want those to be inherited by everything dropped into the folder, add an ACL for
everyone allow read, write

Safari status bar disappears. I have tried clicking on show status bar, under the View tab and it will only appear when I move the cursor to the top of the screen. I can not minimize the open page, only full screen or close the browser. Any idea how the rectify this issue?
One enters and exits full-screen with control+command+F keys. This is on the View menu in Safari. Optionally, the green traffic light in your browser title bar, if you roll over it, has the full-screen control it it. While in full-screen mode with Safari, moving your mouse pointer virtually up, and off-screen reveals the Safari title bar again, and you can click the green traffic light to exit full-screen mode.
You can hide/show the status bar by simply typing command+/. This too, is on the Safari View menu. and in 10.10.1 — it works reliably for me. -
Why is it, when I first launch Firefox, I click on a link I get a "Sorry, forbidden" page. I go back and then the link opens ok.

I got a new Mac Pro and I am using my 30 inch cinema display. It has been flickering grey sometimes and then will stay grey and lock up my computer and I have to reboot... this is very annoying..help. I have reset the pram and that seems to help for a bit but then it starts up again...and please don't tell me to check for software updates:)

hey apple users. if i deactivate my iphone because i got a new phone, can someome else put thier sin card in my old iphone and then it will work again? or does the phone stop working all together if i deactivate the phone on the support page?

Using Firefox 4:
I right-click on a tab to "pin as app tab."
The new app tab appears as expected.
But after I close and then reopen Firefox 4, my app tab(s) no longer appear. They go away. Repeated cycles of the above do not keep the app tabs present .

Thank you.I have been having this problem on occasion for a while. (Most recently in firefox 7) I just discovered that I had a phantom firefox.exe process running for some reason. This has the same effect as closing your tabbed window before a non tabbed window. I killed the process and my app tabs magically work again.
