How can I get the book box in preferences' general tab to show up so I can start adding books to my ipad? I am running OSX 10.9 and Itunes version 11.1.3(8) 64 bit. I always liked the standard google start page for firefox, but with this new 4.0 there's an ugly add box below the search bar, nagging about "learn about all the cool things" or something named "Spark" or all sorts of other spam.

On Saturday I upgraded to version 10 beta, after installing the version, the options box in the Tools tab will not function. When selected the screen is "blocked out" and the only way forward is to Ctrl+Alt+Del to reset the browser.
I have tried several times to re install but the settings are dragged into the new version. If this keeps on happening I will revert to the original browser.Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
* Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

When I try and use the search box in the centre of the screen Firefox crashes and try's to send error reports before closing down completely. However if I use the search box at the top of the screen everything works OK, additionally if I use the bookmarks everythign is OK.
I am using a MAC computer OS LionIf there is a problem with searching via the default about:home page then try to reset the search engine used on the about:home page.
Reset the <b>browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone</b> pref via the right-click context menu to the default on the <b>about:config</b> page and close and restart Firefox to restore the about:home page to its default.

I went to Tools then options then on tabs the first box (open new window in a tab instead) it was checked so i unchecked it clicked on ok and it did the same thing for new tab it opened in a ew window so i went back and put a check in the tab and same thing....new window.. i then unchecked and ditto.....and did this about 5 times with no change. I have lightroom 5.7 and a macbook pro 10.9.5. Occasionally when I am editing a photo in the develop module, I suddenly get a "file not found" message and the editing ceases to work. There is no "exclamation" icon below the histogram box in the Library module or on the photo in grid view, and the histogram is gone. What is going on?
