I have lightroom 5.7 and a macbook pro 10.9.5. Occasionally when I am editing a photo in the develop module, I suddenly get a "file not found" message and the editing ceases to work. There is no "exclamation" icon below the histogram box in the Library module or on the photo in grid view, and the histogram is gone. What is going on? Trying to find it using the "find missing photos" in the library menu does nothing.

I've downloaded the Window support option software and the WindowSetupBox.exe and copied it to the USB drive. I tried to create an iso image from my Windows XP machine but recieved messages that Windows 8.1 could not run on XP. I've ordered the Windows 8.1 backup media.
Any way to proceed?

Is it an internal or external web page? Does this occur on all web pages? If not, post the URL of one that 404s.

My catalog pictures render fine in the Library module but will not render in the Develop module. I get a blue box with a white X across it in the window where the picture should render. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

I have been trying virus killers, malware software from microsoft, I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it, I used the option to change all my options to the basic default installed options, I am able to search without problems using Internet Explorer on all search engines, Google Search engine works in firefox browser; but all the links give the 404 file not found error. Links from my Gmail account do not work either...giving me the 404 error. Firefox is much faster than Internet explorer however, this link problem makes me wonder if firefox is really any good.

In summary, the system cannot find the files server.1.log, security.1.log, database.1.log and applications.1.log. I tried manually adding these files (I created them on my computer and left them empty) on the path written, but it did not work, for some reason they are deleted.

Any ideas?Nothing really seemed to work when trying to solve this problem, just suddenly it stopped appearing. It might have been our installation of SPS 15, since it was around that time that the error went away.

Starting yesterday (I believe) we are suddenly receiving a "User not found" error when trying to view a user's profile page when clicking on their name (in search or elsewhere) via the url
https://www.contoso.org/Person.aspx?accountname=contoso%255Cmyuserlogin
This is happening for all users. (but profiles exist and seem ok, and sync with AD is running fine) When looking in the logs I see the error (full ULS log is later below)
Exception in LoadRequestedUserProfile: (Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.UserNotFoundException: User Not Found: Could not load profile data from the database.
The only clue of what MAY be going on is just before that I see the following two lines which came up after I changed the Database logging to Verbose:

If I am reading that correctly, does it mean the connection to the database is timing out instantly? I am able to use powershell to pull up profiles and print them to the screen while on the webservers. And it's only the one specific page that is not
working.
What sort of tests or further debugging can I do for the error above?
We are on premise, SharePoint 2013 sp1, sql2012, server 2012, claims using the full SharePoint Profiile Sychronization against AD. Farm has been running since last august. Last week the admin team did run windows update on all servers, I can't be sure
if it was broken for 5 days and no one noticed or if it broke yesterday.
I already did the following:
Verified the profiles do exist in central admin.
I can still access their personal sites directly via
https://www.contoso.org/personal/myuserlogin
I checked the ProfileDB database and made sure the service accounts for the UPA has dbowner, so does the farm account, and the web application pool has SPDataAccess.
Verified the AD sync account has proper rights in AD.
I reran a full synchronization which ran with no errors.
File systems on the webservers and appserver have plenty of free space.
Rebooted every server in farm
I even checked the bin directory of the mysite webapplication, (since once I had a weird problem where access to bin was removed.) WSS_ADMIN_WPG, WSS_RESTRICTED_WPG_W4 have full control and WSS_WPG,IIS_IUSRS all have read and execute.
I opened powershell on the webserver I can indeed load profiles and print their values.

Startup screen displays a "File not found" error and I can't lack in a startup or home page.
When I startup Firefox, I get:
File not found
Firefox can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/omni.jar!/browserconfig.properties.
Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.
When I go into Tools>Options to set my home page, it works one time and then reverts back to : resource:/browserconfig.properties
I can't go to Firefox 9 because applications I need are not supprting it, yet.Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

After Effects CS3 error: file not found -43 and TIFFIO failed to open the file

I am experiencing a problem with AE CS3.
I have several TIFF sequences (with alphas) that are giving me a headache. When I import them into AE, I get an "AEGP Plugin TIFFIO: Failed to open the file" error.
I researched the forums and found that this could be related to odd formatting of the source media (my TIFF sequence). I created these TIFFs in Maya 2008 and I have imported other sequences made with Maya into AE with no issues.
Just to be sure, I created a Photoshop droplet that re-saved my TIFFs as Photoshop TIFFs with the same names.
I re-imported the new Photoshop TIFF sequences (still with alphas) into AE CS3, and I get the same error.
Any ideas? I don't know what to do next.

AE can't read CMYK images, that is usually the problem.
Imported images do not have to conform to any specific sizes (unless you want to go over 30,000 x 30,000 pixels.)

File not found error and playlist probs
Sorry if this is a re-post, I had a look though but couldn'r find the answers I'm looking for.
I just upgraded to iTunes 7.
first all my playlists dissapeared, and after many hours I recreated them.
Now, suddenly everytime I try and play a track I get "orriginal file could not be found" if I locate it when given the option it plays it, but I dont want to do this for all 3000 songs. I reimported all my files from my iTunes music folder, bu now I just have 2 copys of everything, one with an ! symbol and one without. I don't really want to go through and delete the bad file, aswhen I do that it goes out of my playlist and I would have to start those all over again, again. Whats going on and how do I fix it?
