Everytime i try to buy a movie directly to my ipod touch it says error tap to retry.
okay...so i bought south park bigger,longer and uncut. i downloaded it and after a while it said download error tap to retry. when i did that it did the same thing again!
You are not connected to the internet. Try:
- Resetting the iPod
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Powerng off and then back on your router
- Resetting network Settings: Setings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

Why is this happening? I just paid 4.99 for renting a movie and I had to keep tapping it after i got that error numerous times. It got to about half way and now it won't continue. ???

Define 'plenty'. I don't share your problem and, honestly, it seems as though relatively few others do. Aside from trying the approaches discussed in the Troubleshooting section of your User's Guide, I can't suggest anything beyond what was linked to above. -

Download it from the same Apple ID as the one previously used on the computer, or click here and ask the iTunes Store staff for assistance.

When I transfer music from itunes library to my ipod touch, it says sync in progress on ipod touch, however, the songs don't show up on ipod touch. I have transferred songs in the past with no problem. Not sure what is different now or what I'm doing wrong-I am very new at this and any help is greatly appreciated.
How is your iPod configured to sync music? In other words, what options and configurations do you have enabled from under your iPod's Summary and Music tabs in iTunes?

its probably a very simple question but I could not find the right answer here yet. I currently don't own a Mac or PC and would like to get a iPod touch in the mean time for basic internet and mail. I know its not as good as a 'real' laptop for it but that is fine with me.
Back when I still had a computer I enjoyed watching TV shows and movies that I rented/purchased over the iTunes store. Now my question is if it is possible to keep doing that. Meaning: Is it possible to download TV shows or movies directly to the iPod touch over its very own WiFi connection without any Mac/PC involved whatsoever?

5GB is typically not enough space to download a movie. Often, movies take from 3 - 5 GB to begin with. The only option you have is to delete more things from your iPad. You can remove unused Apps, pictures, music, text message (messages with pictures can take up a lot of space), email messages, books, magazines etc.

I just bought an iTunes card yesterday and redeemed it, but everytime I try to buy this one album, it says I have insufficient store credit. Which I most definitely do not.

Everytime I try to download a movie I purchased on itunes, I get the network timed out msg. I am using my verizon internet card with my ipod touch. For some reason, it will not recognize the wireless connection we have in places we travel to. My computer connects to whatever wireless connection but my ipod says not found. Never lists available networks around us like my computer does. Also, I can't seem to find a number to call the itunes store for help downloading the movies I purchased. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I probably should add I have no problems downloading music from itunes, just the movies I purchase.
