Everytime i try to sync my photos, "Unknown Error -36" always pops up

Help!
I followed the exact instuctions on transferring photos to my ipod nano, and everytime i do, an error always pops up and the message says "Unknown Error -36"
Please help!q

good gracious. do you have an itunes version 4.9 or lower? with higher versions, instead of getting a -36, folks tend to get a "the disk cannot be read from or written to" error message instead.
this article contains the standard techniques for dealing with a (-36), even though it doesn't mention the (-36) error code anymore. fairly early on in proceedings i'd check on the possibility of a corrupt photo cache (especially if music and other files are syncing fine at the moment):
"Disk cannot be read from or written to" when syncing iPod or "Firmware update failure" error when updating or restoring iPod
