    hi,
From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Indirect Taxes - Sales/Outbound Movements - Exports Under Excise Regulations - Exports - Central Processing - Change ARE-1.
    In the top line:
    Select Change.
    Select ARE-1 Internal Document.
Enter the internal ARE-1 number and click on  the right mark.
    Change data as required.
    Save the ARE-1.

  • How is exempt amount calculated for involuntary deductions?

How is the exempt amount calculated for involuntary deductions?
For child support CHILD_SUPP_CALCULATION_FORMULA fast formula can be used for getting the exempt amount?
What about other involuntary deductions like alimony, creditor debt, bankruptcy?
Can anyone please guide me to any documents concerning this.
    Regards,
    Manish.

When you define the deduction using the Deduction template, the formula are automatically get defined.
Ex in your case Creditor debt is an involuntary deduction and it should be paid using the third party payment, the priority of this deduction will be 1 and you also might need to define external organization to pay this amount.
You can refer the payroll user guide which might provide you few details of the involuntary deduction

    Hi,
Are you using the standard programm and print form or are you using your own?. Most of the printing issues happens because of own programms. Try with the standard and then you will be able to see why is this happening.

  • Fixed Amount Calculation type

Can anyone tell me the behavior of Fixed Amount Calculation Type for Purchasing?
For example ZNB1 handling-fee value is $80, (scenario1) is $80 the total cost when the target quantity has been completed? (scenario2) Or will 80 be charged per GR?
Scenario1 for fixed amount calculation type:
total target quantity = 100 units
    amount = $80
    1st GR = 20 units, handling fee = $16
    2nd GR = 80 units, handling fee = $64
Scenario2 for fixed amount calculation type:
total target quantity = 100 units
    amount = $80
    1st GR = 20 units, handling fee = $80
    2nd GR = 80 units, handling fee = $80
    Thanks everyone!

    Scenario 1 is correct .

  • Wrong Base amount calculated for JEC1 & JSEP

    Hello All,
I am using TAXINN procedure, while creating a PO, in invoice tab, BED (JMOP) is getting calculated correctly, but for JEC1 ( 2% Edu Cess) & JSEP (1% H&SEcess) , the base value is calculated wrongly, and because if this the duty amount is shown less.
    For e.g. Base Value -----     100000
    JMOP (10%) -                     10000
    JEC1 (2%) -                             20
    JSEP(1%) -                             10
When i check base value for JEC1 and JSEP it it taking as 1000 instead of 10000. I have maintained the condition records in FV11 .
    Please help
    Regards,
    Vikas

    Hi Vikas,
Please check in OBQ3 what is the "From" field of JEC1 and JSEP. This should be the step denoting JMOP.

  • Tax Base Amount calculated wrongly

    Dear Friends,
While posting a MIRO with a manually enter tax base amount, the amount doubles whenever I click on another tab like basic data and come back to tac base amount.
For e.g. I have a PO for 10000, now I am posting an invoice for the same but I have to pay only 9000 to the vendor because 1000 has been deducted as a penalty for late delivery.
Now I enter a MIRO, with reference to the purchase order and enter 9000 in the line item and trying to enter 10000 in the field Tax Base amount under the Tax tab.
Now whenever I change tabs, i.e if I go to Basic data and come back to Tax Tab, the amount has been changed to 19000. If change tabs again, it changes to 28000 and so on...
Not sure if this is a bug or has anyone faced this issue? Can anyone suggest a note or a solution...
    Thanks,
    Hari Dharen

    Thank you Mani Kumar,
But that's what we already have in customizing:
The problem is that during Invoice Verification (MIRO) we specified that only one of the items is eligible to Cash Discount (we set for item #2 that it is W/o Cash Discount):
The invoice is posting correctly identifying the correct disc. amount of 1,500 (50,000*3%):
The problem is during the Payment Run where the system determines a Cash Discount that applies but when calculating the W/Tax Base Amount it do the following:
    51,000*3% = 1,530
    W/Tax Base = 51,000 - 1,530 = 49,470 usd
    F110 Proposal generated:
It is false that the Cash Discount applies to all items, the expected result should be:
(only eligible items for Cash Discount) 50,000*3% = 1,500
    W/Tax Base = 51,000 - 1,500 = 49,500 usd not 49,470
    Thanks

  • Wrong base amount calculation for entry tax

    Hi,
We want to capture entry tax in PO with condition type ENT1. The issue appearing for the condition is that the Base value calculated to calculating the ENT1 is (Base Value + Excise + 2 * VAT). Where as the propser calculation should be (Base Value + Excise + VAT).
    For example -
    Base Value - 1000
    Excise (BED + ECS + SECESS) - 10.3
    VAT (4%) - 4
    Sub Total - 1014.30
    Entry tax (2%) - 20.29
Where the entry tax getting calculated is 20.37 considering VAT as 8 (2 * 4). We want the entry tax as 20.29.
    How can we achieve this?

    Prashant

  • Calculate base on gross amount calculation

    Dear forum,
I would like to ask how does the system calculate the tax base on gross amount.
Assuming the tax rate is 17% and the tax base amount is $1000.
I do know that system will split the amount into 2 parts where the tax related account is 854.70 and the tax account is 145.30.
The calculation is 1000/1.17 to get 854.70 but I still do not know why to get 1.17.
    Need advice.
    Thanks

    Hi Gengis,
The system calculates by default the tax taking the invoice amount as gross amount. i.e. 1000 * 17/117 = 145.30 doller.
However this setting can be changed to calculate the tax amount taking invoice amount as net amount in the below way:-
    1. For all users:-
Activate the tick "tax base in net value" in company code setting in transaction OBY6.
    2. For specific user:-
Activate the tick "Calculate taxes on net amount" in transaction FB00 from that user login.
Then the system will calculate the tax amount as 1000 * 17% = 170 doller.
Let me know if you need any further help.
    Regards,
    Gaurav

  • Tax Base amount calculation in MIRO

    Hi friends ,
Need your help on the following issue
    1.     PO item price is Rs 20/-  &  Tax is 7 % . But Tax 7 % should be calculated on                 Rs 100/- (20+80 =100)  in MIRO . i.e. Assessable value for tax is Rs 100/-
    2.     We tried this scenario in the following way .
Enter the tax amount as  Rs 7/- (7% on Rs 100/) ,
          Do not ticket u201CCalculate taxu201D ,
          Enter the u201CTotal Amountu201D as Rs 27/- ( Rs 20+7)can put
It is working fine. But when we take report to submit government officials, for this PO line item the assessable value is showing as Rs 20/- (PO value) and the tax 7% on this assessable value shows as  Rs 1.4/-  though the tax value is Rs 7/- .
Could some one help how to face this issue
    Thx
    Deva

If your tax procedure is TAXINN,
Define new condition type with Cond Class B & Cal Type C.
Define new condtion table and access sequence for this condition type.
Include this tax condition type in Tax procedure.
It is to be included next to BASB. This condition type to be maintained as statistical in TAXINN.
Maintain condition record on required combination.
In third step of TAXINN, give the summation of BASB & new condition type.
Use this third step as the assessable value for tax calculation.
    In your case,
    STEP       Condition type            Value
10            BASB                     = 20                  (From PO Item Price)
20            New condition type   = 80                 (From condition Record)
      30            Assesable Value      = 100               (STEP 10 + STEP 20)
      40            Tax condition type    =    7                  (7% FROM STEP 40)
Then go for PO-GR-MIRO as regular procedure.
    Hope this works for you.

  • Tax amount calculation

    Hi,
Can some one help me to explain how the tax amount is calculated.
I have a tax procedure assigned to my country. I created a input tax code.
Now i used this tax code while creating a PO i entered the tax code.
How the system determine the base amount for BASB condition type to calculate tax?? Will it take from the PO ??
    regards
    raghu ram
Edited by: Raghu Ram Thatavarthy on Jun 23, 2009 12:17 PM

    Hi
In the Tax codes, you would have attached the percentage to the account keys, which has the condition types attached to it. In the PO pricing procedure, the basis for calculation of the Tax would be available ie on what value tax needs to be calculated against the condition type. Account key can be seen against the Condition types. and from the tax codes percentages are taken and taxes derived.

  • How is GR amount calculated

    Hi Gurus ,
Please have a look at the scenario below and kindly explain how the GR amount is calculated
Suppose PO price = 1 per unit
    PO qty = 100
Now the following docs are posted in the sequence mentioned below :
    1) Invoice is posted with qty 1 , price 10 (this invoice is wrongly posted)
    2) One more invoice with qty 10 and price 10 (now the actual correct invoice is posted )
    3) First invoice with qty 1 is reversed ( so that total invoiced qty becomes 10 and total invioce price = 10 )
    4) Now a GR is posted with quanity 10 .
What would be the amount of the GR . I have checked and found that its 18.18 (for total 10 quantity ) . How is this amount getting calculated ? I have also found that the GR amount for the 11th qty is 1 which is understandable based on the invoice and the PO price.
    Regards,
    Saurav

thanks Allen for your reply .. these are really helpful..
But the scenario of invoice reversal has not been explained there. In my case , in my 3rd step i am cancelling the invoice posted wrongly (the first invoice) but it seems that while posting GR , system does not consider the reversed invoice value and calculates the GR amount based on the first two invoices ...
that is after the first 2 invoices , my total qty invoiced = 11
    total invoice price = 20
    Price of one = 20/11 = 1.818
    GR amount for 10 = 18.18
why the system is not considering invoice reversal while calculating GR amount ?
