Excel Export Error: Store must be open for this operation

Hi,
I’m currently running into an issue exporting Reporting Services reports to Excel that I haven’t encountered before. Unfortunately, I’m not able to find much information
about this error directly related to SQL Server Reporting Services. The error occurs on multiple reports with a varying number of rows (static columns). The reports are simple list reports with no custom code, etc.
Currently running SQL Server 2012 and SharePoint 2013. Here’s the related error in the SharePoint ULS log:
Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.UnhandledReportRenderingException: An error occurred during rendering of the report. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.OnDemandReportRendering.ReportRenderingException:
An error occurred during rendering of the report. ---> System.ObjectDisposedException: Store must be open for this operation.

Thoughts, comments or suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi K. Beckett,
Based on the error message, the issue may be a timeout issue related to the structured storage which is used as a container for storing binary Office documents. As I know, the structured storage is only used to store OLE objects or macros in Office Open
XML documents. By default, SSRS 2012 use Office Open XML format when exporting a report to Excel. To check whether your report server uses Excel renderer (xls) or ExcelOPENXML renderer (xlsx), please export another report and check the file extension. If it’s
an .xls file, it means that you have enabled Excel 2003 renderer for SSRS 2012. Besides, the name should be Excel 2003 in the drop down list of the Export option if you have enabled the Excel renderer in the rsereportserver.config file, and the EXCELOPENXML
renderer displays as Excel in the drop-down list of the Export option.
So, if you are using the Excel renderer instead of EXCELOPENXML renderer, use the EXCELOPENXML to see if the issue persists.
If it is not the case, I suggest that modify the timeout value for the SharePoint Web Application and the report execution timeout.

  • Connection must be open for this operation

This error message appear while im running the system. But the connection from the Oracle Client to Oracle 10g database is successfully connected. Do help me to overcome this problem....

Actually we have two (!!!) women DBA... one blonde and one brunette (both very cute, the blonde one is currently single, I could hook you up :))
Thank you for your suggestions Christian...
    Going down the list:
Same OS version? Memory configuration? - Same
OS user rights and policies? - Same, since I am loging into all machines as myself. And machine B works regardless of the user that is logged on.
How many oracle homes do you have? - One on each machine -OraClient10g_home1
Does the odbc connection uses an oracle odbc driver or the microsoft "oracle" odbc driver? - "Oracle in OraClient10g_home1"
ODP and ODBC driver from same oracle home? - I am guessing yes since they both point to OraClient10g_home1. Is there any way to check for sure?
    Same SQLNET.ORA, same TNSNAMES.ORA? - Yep.
Exact version of ODP library and .Net Framework? - They do have same version of OraOps10.dll (10.1.0.200) and are identical in .Net versioning
Pathes and environment variables - Identical
Is the SQL running in SQL*Plus from machine A? - Happily so
Try SQL Developer. Its using jdbc to run the query. - Runs like a champ
Isolate the SQL in a small program and try again - That was the first thing that I did. Crashes. Seems like .Net just can not run through ODP on this machine (machine A nor machines D, E, and F) at all.
Since I realy have nothing to loose at this point I am going to try to reinstall the ODP on machine A. Any hints of what to watch out for during installation? I am following a standard procedure with all the defaults.
    Sincerely.
    Thank you
    Igor

  • Tried to reset a login keychain but got the error: Unable to obtain authorization for this operation.

There was a user account established on my computer when I bought it.  I later added an admin account.  I realized that I did not have the password to the original account.  Using the admin account, I changed the password for the user account.  I then realized that I now couldn't access the keychain.  I followed the instructions to reset a login keychain.  Opened Keychain Access, selected Preferences, clicked Reset Login Keychain, typed the new password I'd created for the account but received the following error.  Unable to obtain authorization for this operation.  I cannot find a user/library/keychain folder so I can't delete the user keychain file.  How can I reset the keychain?

A lot longer ago than that. PowerPC apps haven't been supported since Lion, 10.7.x.
You may have just purchased the game, but the developers obviously haven't kept up to date with the requirements for newer versions of the Mac OS.
You have three options, depending on how old your Mac is.
    1) If it were ever able to boot directly to Snow Leopard, you could create a separate partition and install SL onto that partition. Make sure to turn on the option during the installation to install Rosetta. That is OS X's PPC emulator.
    2) If your Mac is too new to install Snow Leopard, then you can purchase and install Snow Leopard Server within a VM, such as Parallels, VirtualBox, or Vmware.
    3) Use a separate older Mac for running outdated software.

  • No inspection lot can be opened for this material error is coming during GR

    dear friends,
no inspection lot can be opened for this material error is coming during GR. what is the cause for this and how to solve it. please suggest me
    regards,
    Krishna

    Hi,
i think you have maintained the quality view and activated the inspection. but you have not created any inspection lot task list for the material and plant. thsi you can create through QP01 there maintain the material and plant. then enter in inspection plan give usage 5 and status 4. save it and try to check it with QA32 and see the lot. it should be released then only you can give usage decision.

  • I have created a slide show with pictures and music in Iphoto and when I try export it I get Error You do not have sufficient permission for this operation.

I have created a slide show with pictures and music in Iphoto and when I try export it I get Error You do not have sufficient permission for this operation.  Try to export to an external HD attached, all help would be gratefully received

Have you ever successfully saved anything to that external drive? My first two thoughts are that the drive isn't formatted for the Mac or that you don't have rights to save to the drive.

  • An error occured while retrieving policy for this computer 0x80092004

    Good morning!
I have recently been having some issues getting my OSD working correctly.
It all started after the server which houses DPM and SCCM was refusing to start the SQL service because of an invalid certificate that was missing the private key. After I finally removed the key and all the registry value for it in SQL server, I could finally
    fire up SQL server again.
However, since then, I am unable to perform an OSD and I have been troubleshooting this issue for many weeks now.
I have low level knowledge of SCCM 2012 R2, but I did set this box up myself and had all aspects (OSD, Software deployment, driver deployment etc) working perfectly fine in native mode and was just about ready to start deploying images out when SQL
    died.
I am still able to push out the client in native mode perfectly fine, I just can't deploy an OS task sequence.
When I pxe boot the client, it boots fine and then prompts for the admin password, as soon as I enter the admin password, it fails with "An error occured while retrieving policy for this computer 0x80092004".

I am stumped with this issue. As I said, this is new to me, but I have so far been able to set it all up to a working state, up until this SQL issue occurred.
I look forward to your responses.
    Cheers,
    Kyle.

Untick the "Use PKI Client Certificate when available" in the Site Properties. I would create a self-signed certificate for the DP. Don't forget to Update DP for all your boot images when you are finished.

    Hey there Hannuj,
It sounds like you are unable to access the iTunes Store in the iTunes application. Based on the error message I would try the steps in the article here named:
iTunes for Windows: iTunes Store connection troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1527
    Remove pop-up blockers
Some pop-up or ad-blocking programs may interfere with the ability of iTunes to connect to the iTunes Store. Removing them in many cases will resolve the issue.
    Flush DNS Setting in Windows
In some cases, the DNS information you computer uses to connect to the Internet needs to be reset. Follow these instructions to flush your Windows DNS information:
    Windows XP
On the Start menu, click Run.
In the Open field type cmd and click OK.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
    Windows Vista and Windows 7
On the Start menu, point to All Programs > Accessories and then right-click Command Prompt and chooseRun as Administrator from the shortcut menu. If Windows needs your permission to continue, clickContinue.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
Note: If, in the command prompt, you see this message: "The requested operation requires elevation", close the command prompt and repeat steps 1 and 2 above to be sure that Administrator privileges are used to access to Command Prompt.
See the following articles for additional troubleshooting information on connecting to the iTunes Store:

  • Cannot sync, error message reads" not enough access privileges for this operation

When trying to sync my ipad and iphone with my PC i get this error message "Cannot be sybced. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation". I have a new PC but i have successfully synced these devices before. can anybody please help ?

Just thought I'd put out an update on my problem. It has been solved. I spoke to a tech at Apple at 1-800-275-2279. She had me try a few things that didn't help. Her last suggestion was to uninstall QuickTime and iTunes then reload. She sent me the uninstall instructions at http://www.info.apple.com/kbnum/n93698 which I followed. When speaking to her I told her I was afraid to do this because I saw other people on the discussion board who tried this and lost all of their music. She assured me that that wouldn't happen. I did the uninstall then the install. (Just a note here, I also read on the message board that someone said that to cure this problem you should do the install then open up QuickTime before opening iTunes. I did this also but don't really know if it made a difference.
Bottom line is I uninstalled QuickTime and itunes per the instructions at the site shown above. I then installed both again from www.apple.com/itunes/download. After the download I ran the install and unchecked the box to let itunes start after the install. I then opened Quicktime then closed it. I then opened iTunes and all of my music was there and I didn't get the anoying "iTunes is not set as the default player" and the error after trying to set it. The problem described in my first posting of copying CD's is also gone. So beleive it or not, EVERYTHING is working just like it should. Some of the above steps might not be required but I would follow them step by step because I know they worked for me.

    To fix Home folder permissions
Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder.  At the command line prompt enter or paste the following command line:
    sudo chown -R `id -un`:`id -gn` ~
Press RETURN.  You will be prompted to enter your admin password which will not be echoed.

That isn't what I said at all. Reread my first reply. The first part is a copy of what you had stated.

That is because when global_names is TRUE, the database link name MUST be same as the global db name of the database to which the link connects to.
You need to drop the database link and recreate it using the global name of the database it connects to.
'link name MUST be same as the global db name of the database to which the link connects to.' - I didn't say 11g.
And I didn't say 'put 11g database global_name=true' because you had already done that! 'after that I set the global_names in 11g as TRUE.
    1. 11g - global_names MUST be TRUE
    2. 11g - database link name MUST be the same as the global db name of the database to which the link connects to - 10g global db name
    3. 10g - gloibal_names setting is irrelevant

  • Error msg:  "do not have enough access priviliges for this operation"

    iTunes 9.0.2.25
When I open itunes, I get this error msg :
I get a "Can not save a library file - I do not have enough access priviliges for this operation."
    Any suggestions?

I went ahead and add my Program files(86)/iTunes as an Exclusion in the Eset Advanced Set up any ways- just in case.
As well as that, you'd need to set an exclusion on the iTunes library and media files (as per their instructions for 2000/XP/Vista when using Smart Security 3.x).
The default location for the relevant folder on Windows 7 is:
    C:\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\

No inspection lot can be opened for this material and vendor

    Sujit/Raj
I got th similar error. I closed the issue as Raj said because there was an open inspection lot. Im still nto able to figure out the background or root cause for thi.
The QIno record doe not have release Qty active and release date is 12/31/9999. Then why we have to close the previous inspection lot before recieving another. It seems like there is a condition or something that tells Inspection are to be done in stages and hence previous or pending inspection lot needs to be closed. But where i this condition coming from, where should i check.
I created PO and performed GR. I noticed if i perform GR and if the Inpection lot has status REL SPCO SPRQ IRCH then this happens. If the status is just REL SPCO SPRQ  then I'm able to do multiple reciepts and this error does not show up.
    Any idea or suggestions?

  • New audio files receives error message from iTunes - You do not have enough access privileges for this operation.

Every time a new audio file is downloaded onto my desktop, (or if I double click on a new audio file) iTunes no-longer will play them. It gives an error message stating: Attempting to copy to the disk "Mackintosh" failed. You do not have enough access privileges for this operations.
Please can you help me to resolve this situaion. I confess that I am not very computer savvy.

    Launch iTunes on the computer.
From the iTunes menu bar click Store > Authorize This Computer
Make sure to sign in using the same Apple ID used on the iPhone.
    Then sync your iPhone.
