Exception in Application server.

Can somebody please explain the following two websphere app server exception messages? We got this exception in our UAT environment and actually we don't know why this exception came?
[10/25/07 20:39:21:900 EDT] 7fca7ec8 ExceptionUtil E CNTR0019E: Non-application exception occurred while processing method "create". Exception data: com.ibm.ejs.container.CreateFailureException: ; nested exception is:
[10/25/07 20:39:21:922 EDT] 7fca7ec8 ExceptionUtil E CNTR0020E: Non-application exception occurred while processing method "executeQuery" on bean "BeanId(TCSuite-TCU01#lib/WS5TCUberEjb.jar#QueryExecuterEJB, null)". Exception data: java.rmi.ServerException
The CNTR0019E exception is thrown and the logs states that TCMP_05024:E: The server did not recognize your client session. The reason is because the session was not created (since ejb create method failed) and hence we are unable to login to our Application. Please provide any solution for this so that it will help grate to us.

- what kind of operation you are running on it? I have seen it in production env. with 1G memoy (min=max), without any issue with moderate publish and search activities.
- I would also look JVM profiling, you can do it in OC4J there is MBean conf in Admin page. If Gargage collector is not working efficiently you can look at aggresive heap option which might help a bit.
- Service registry is known to be memory hog so it is always advisable to allocate extra memory.

  • Troubleshooting Report Application Server

    Hello Experts,
I've installed Crystal Reports Server XI R2 on Windows 2003 Server. All the services are running fine except 'Report Application Server'.
Whenever I try to start the service it starts and stops immediately. I don't know whats wrong there.
Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this problem?
    Please help me.
    I'd be grateful to you.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vinit

Add "-trace" switch in the RAS command line. (e.g: -trace -restart).
Check the logs in the logging directory.
    Check event viewer.
    Try creating a new one.

  • Exception/error messages from remotely deploying sun application server 8.2

    Hi
I have a solaris network with some servers running sun application server 8.2. When I deploy applications to these application servers (using ant) from a single server connected to them on the netwrok, sometimes exceptions are thrown. What is done now, is the person doing the deploying from the central server, logs onto each server with an appserver and looks through each application servers log file to see if there were any exceptions thrown while deploying apps on that server. What I would like to do is find some way to have those exceptions sent back to the deploying system so that they can show up on the terminal from which the any script was run.
appserver <------------------------- central server running ant -----------------------------------> appserver
    / | \
    / | \
    / | \
    / | \
    / | \
    appserver appserver appserver
Many appservers getting apps deployed to them through the use of ant. Want to catch any exception thrown by any of the appservers and view on terminal on central server running ant.
    Any ideas/thoughts?
    Thanks...
    Mike

The diagram did not come the way I had hoped. It was suppose to look like the "central server running ant" was pointing to a number of different servers running an appserver.
    Thanks for any suggestions...
    Mike

  • What causes The Report Application Server failed exception?

    My environment:
Windows Server 2008 R2  8 cores 6 gig of ram.
    A Windows Service running:
    Oracle 11g
    Oracle 11.2 64 bit client
    C# 4.0 Framwork
Crystal Reports Visual Studio 2010 13.0.2000
This window service needs to create 1100 pdf documents generated by crystal reports per hour for a minimum of 8 hours straight.
These pdf files are written on the local file system.
The Windows Service runs 3 threads per core.  Each thread can run up to 5 individual CR .rpt files in a sequential order.
After 4000 pdf documents created, I get the following errors.
    1) The Report Application Server failed
    2) Server is out of memory.
    3)  Not enough memory for operation.
    4) Invalid report file path.
Using Windows Task Manager Resource Monitor I noticed the following:
After running 3000 pdf report requests, I stopped the processing pdf reports and noticed hundreds of
    \BaseNamedObjects\CrystalReportXalanInitizeMutex(Pid of my process)
Why are they there after a close and dispose of the ReportDocument object?
I ran Reggate ANTS Memory Profiler 7.2 to check for memory leaks in my code and my code that I have control over is clean.
Why am I getting the exceptions above?
My code calls ExportReportToSream.  After persisting the stream to disk, I call Close and Dispose on the stream.

and how run this project at embed OC4J on jdeveloper 10g and not run at application server ?
    thanks.

It would seem some Java applications have a hard time dealing with spaces in paths. Try moving your Application Server install files to a directory with no spaces e.g. "C:\as_windows_x86_101300_disk1". I had the same problem and simply moved the install directory to a path with no spaces and it worked. I had a similar problem with my application directory of JDeveloper not being able to deploy.

May I ask what you mean by "first start Windows services related to MaxDB" ?
I have what I believe is very a similar problem.
Only the MessageServer starts in sapmmc. The Dispatcher soon stops and I then get the message

    in C:\SAP\NSP\DVEBMGS00\work\stderr0.
The best I can get is that the disp+work.EXE Dispatcher is "Running, Message Server connection, OK, Dialog Queue time: 0.00 sec" after starting in sapmmc but it stops after 1:15 with the above message.
    Most grateful for any suggestions.
Edit : I now have instead of the above
    C:\SAP\NSP\DVEBMGS00\work>findstr "ONLINE" adatmp
    ONLINE
    Database NSP successfully started !
but still the Dispatcher stops afer 1:15.
I now find the message that the system cannot find a file that I see is in fact present under the path given in the message:

  • Error in starting the domain in application server 8.2

I want to deploy a application EAR on newly created domain. For this :
    1. Got the 8.2 Java application server installed on solaris box.
    2. Created domain using the asadmin command -> create-domain --adminport 4848 --adminuser admin <DOMAIN_NAME>
On starting the domain with this command - sh asadmin start-domain --user admin <DOMAIN_NAME. I am facing the below issue. Please note this is a fresh installation of the app server and a new domain
To troubleshoot this, I have already followed below steps , without any resolution:
    1. Checked port with - netstat -an|grep 45184 and also checked the processes using ps -fu <unix_user>. Even after killing the process, same error.
    2. Gave full permissions on /AppServer8.2/imq/var/instances
    3. Logged in as root user and then tried to start domain
    4. Updated domain.xml with some other port , checked this port if it is free , then replaced in domain.xml
    5. No logs generated in /AppServer8.2/imq/var/instances
Please help me in resolving this issue. I have downloaded the 9.1 application server and will install and check in the meantime
