Exchange Rate for invoice matching IR = GR exchange rate

Hi Gurus
u2022     Exchange Rate for invoice matching IR ( at Feb at 2.10 ) should be similar to GRN ( Jan at 2.00 exchange rate ). Customer does not want to fix the exchange rate during the PO .
u2022     They want to pick up the exchange rate when the GR is being executed .Is there any automatic setting to enable this, they want to avoid manually changing the exchange rate during IR.
Best Regards

Hi
Try this
LIV- incoming invoice - how exchange rate differences are treated - for your company code check the indicator as N - then if exchange rate is different then it will be posted to PRD.
But it is not possible to fix exchange rate based on GR, either you need to enter invoice date same as GR date then same rate will be maintained.
Thanks

  • Exchange difference for Invoice

In company the Inventory is managed in different currencies as per GRN (Procurement) exchange rate. All the subsequent posting should be posted with GRN rate. But this is not happening at this moment. All the subsequent transactions to GRN are posted on the posting date exchange rate.
How to do subsequent postings to GRN at the original GRN rate. If there is any exchange difference loaded at the time of Invoicing then it  should be taken care while doing subsequent transactions.
    Kindly resolve.

Not quite sure I understand the question but . . .
On the Header level Delivery/Invoice tab you can fix the exchange rate. All GRs/Invoices then get posted with reference to that exchange rate. Is that what you want ?

  • Does apple give exchange offers for my home PC in exchang for an APPLE COMPUTER?

If i Want to exchange my PC for A MAC How Much Will it cost?

Apple does not take trade-ins, but in a few countries Apple works with a company who will give you some return on an existing device. If you are in the US, see:
    http://www.apple.com/recycling/gift-card/
Similar programs are available in a few other countries, which are listed on the right side of that page, and some dealers may have their own trade-in programs. But you most probably can get more for your PC if you sell it yourself.

  • How to get historical currency rate for second group currency transactions in Fixed Assets

    Hello,
My client had MXN (Mexico Currency) as a legal currency and when the company code was implemented (went live) group currency was not implemented. After 3 years this company code implemented second local currency as USD and is now a USD functional Company. When Fixed assets movements such as depreciation, retirement etc are posted; the postings in local currency is fine but postings in group currency is not fine the reason is the exchange rate for group currency must be 'historical rate" but instead of that the entries are being posted in "current rate". To rectify this issue we need to set the exchange rate as the historical rate. Now my question is where/how can I get the historical rate (rate when asset was acquired/purchased). When the assets were acquired the amount was in MXN and there was no maintenance of USD exchange rate as there was no second local currency so then how can I get the historical exchange rate for USD. Most of the assets were acquired/purchased before 5-10 years then how can I find the USD exchange rate for those periods.
    Thanks,

It is necessary yo have a different rate type for average. The month-end rate type cannot be used.
The M-rate type is typically the month-end rate.

  • How to exclude invoices matched to receipts from approval workflow (APINV)?

I am trying to exclude the approvals for invoices matched to receipts. is this something possible?
    Thanks,

I set the value "NO" to exclude PO matched invoices attribute so that the workflow will consider sending approvals to PO matched invoices. But the requirement is, if an invoice is matched to a receipt then I don't want the workflow to be kicked off.

  • Single invoice for multiple orders with different exchange rates

    Hi Gurus,
We have a situation where the client wants to bill two orders together but both have been created in different months and have different header exchange rates.
Can someone advise if we can combine these orders / deliveries into one invoice if
    (a) pricing dates & order creation dates are different
    (b) exchange rate of order header differs for both orders
If standard behaviour is different, can someone advise how it can be manipulated to suit our requirement which is to have 1st exchange rate on those invoice items coming from 1st sales order and 2nd rate for those invoice items coming from 2nd sales order.
    Thanks & Regards,

    SAP SD

    Hi,
the date will not affect the consolidation of orders to a single invoices provided yur bill to party and all other details are same in both the docuemnts. But due to the exchange rate differences it may split. You can try the same in your test system. If it is splitting the invoice then you need to modify the requirement used in the copying control from order to billing to allow the same.

  • Exchange Rate date for Invoice posting for Slovak Republic

    Hi,
We have a requirement wherein for Slovak Republic, Invoice should pick up ( at the time of Invoice Posting) the exchange rate from the Delivery Note date and not the Invoice Posting Date. This is applicable for all vendors which have a Slovak Republic VAT Registration number. I suppose this is some country specific requirement for Slovak Reublic.
Do we have to apply some Notes to achieve this functionality. Any pointers to this issue is highly appreciated.

SO VBRK-KURRF (exchange rate for FI)  is taken from "pricing date" in standard?
    Are you 100% sure? :
FIrst of all: there is no pricing date (PRSDT) on invoice header level
Second: I`ve got information from FI that VBRK-KURRF is taken from posting (billing date) VBRK-FKDAT
I have found also programs, there is provided folloving calculation formula:
    LV60AA90
Currency conversion (WAVWR is in local currency so far)
            ACTDATE = VBRK-KURRF_DAT.
            IF ACTDATE IS INITIAL.
              ACTDATE = VBRP-PRSDT.
            ENDIF.
            DA_WAVWR_HW = VBRP-WAVWR.
            DA_WAVWR_KW00 = WAVWR_KW00.
            DA_WAVWR_PCVP = WAVWR_PCVP.
    LV60A036
    Determine date
        IF vbrk-kurrf_dat IS INITIAL.
          ld_kurrf_dat = vbrk-fkdat.
        ELSE.
          ld_kurrf_dat = vbrk-kurrf_dat.
        endif.
    So what is the verdict?

  • Split invoice due to exchange rate for letter-of-credit

    Hi Guru,
Orginially, I was trying to create a combined invoice and the the split msg appears. After some checking,  so I update the exchange rate for all S.O.  remove the Letter of credit, save, reapply the letter of credit to S.O..  and the error msg still appears.  So I then try to create invoice per S.O. and found that split were due to the letter of credit rate diff within the S.O.
    e.g.
    S.O. 12345 , exchange rate 1.5
    S.O. 23456, exhcange rate 2.0
    1. I update S.O. 12345 to exchange rate 2.0.
    2. try to create invoice,  msg appears.
    3. check table VBKD and found that the whold order exchange rate = 2.0 but for a few line item, the letter of credit exchange rate still = 1.5
Can anyone recommed how I can update the letter of credit rate ?
    Thanks & Regards,

Thanks.  I guess i didnt explain my problem clearly.  we create invoice using sales order not delivery note.  We have a TPO process,  we create SO, Vendor PO, and Vendor ship good directly to customer.  We GR against PO, then bill using SO#.
Hopes it is clear enough for more help.

  • Exchange Rate for Excise Invoice (J1IIN)

    Hi Experts,
which field the exchange rate is considering to calculate the excise duty for export excise invoice?
We are maintaining Exchange rate in OB08 with Exchange rate type--M (Standard translation at average rate) on daily basic as per Bank Exchange rate.
But in excise invoice we want to calculate an exchange rate from customs which is maintained in different Exchange Rate Type (it will be changed on monthly basic).
We need to copy same exchange rate from billing to Excise Invoice which is not 'M' maintained in Company code setting in CIN config.
    Please suggest,
    Regards,

customer master level??is there any link between customer master and purchasing?
for my case, i have the exchange rate maintained in OB08 under exchange rate type "M" and rate of 1 JPY = 0.608 INR
during migo and after the conversion i got the below exchange rates for the respective custom duties.
BED = 28,742 JPY, after conversion in MIGO 17,475.13 INR, exch rate of 0.6079997912462598
AED = 12,740, after conversion in MIGO 7,747.02 INR, exch rate of 0.6080863422291994
CESS = 575, after conversion in MIGO 349.54 INR, exch rate of 0.607895652173913
SECess = 288, after conversion in MIGO 174.76 INR, exch rate of 0.6068055555555556
why is there a slight deviation among the exch rate among the 4 excise duties?is this behaviour normal?
because if i were to calculate using exch rate of 0.608, the results for the 4 excise dutie should be as below
BED = 17475.136 INR round off to 17,475.14
AED = 7745.92 INR round off to 7,745.92
CESS = 349.6 INR round off to 349.6
SECess = 175.104 INR round off to 175.10
please advice whether is there anything wrong and if the slight deviation above is a normal behaviour for 'M" exchange rate.
Also, i have also tried putting the 'fixed exchange rate' in the PO header but it's still havng the same symptoms.
    Thank you.

  • Exchange Rate for planned delivery cost

    Hi
In one PO ( Document type NB with item category std) exchange rate for planned delivery charges ( Condition type FRC1) is calculated considering base date as document date of PO.( Exchange Rate is not fixed) while doing Goods Receipt
In other  PO ( Document type NB with item category L -subcontracting ) exchange rate for planned delivery charges ( Condition type FRB1) is calculated considering base date as posting  date of GR.( Exchange Rate is not fixed)
    Can anyone tell why ?

    Dear Murugan
I wish to  putforth the below check for you to solve the issue.
You told that Intially while creating the PO, your supply vendor and freight vendors are different, please check did you enter the vendor code in the freight item condition details. If yes then you have two invoicing parties for the PO.
Now you also told that, you have carried out MIGO for the PO line item which which has Freight also as an additional condition type.  That means for the PO line item your GR have been completed or partly done. If you have done this then how did you change the freight vendor in PO after GR for the item , system does not allow that as you have already carried out the the GRN.
To avoid all such cases of freight vendor change, the best solution is to change the vendor before GRN itself and assign the right vendor in the item condition of the PO,then proceed forthe GRN.
For your case please cancell the GRN also since you have already cancelled the Invoice.
Assign the right Freignt vendor , then proceed for MIGO. Once done In MIRO go for invoice and select goods/service items from the selection menu and process it for the supply vendor.
Then again you can go for MIRO and select planned delivery cost from the drop down and process it.
The above can be done combined also and in any sequence also , there are no holds upon that.

  • Exchange rate in invoice receipt

    1. Can I change exchange rate in invoice receipt ?
    2. Is it the PO rate ?

    Hi
If you are maintaing your Exchange rate table(OB08) in FI then the exchange rate will flowing as per updation of the table. Some organisation update this table daily. In that case you need not change the rate at PO or MIRO stage, as if we are changing the exchange rate at Transaction level then it may not be chnaged bu users everytime and more over  if you have sales also it needs to be changed there also every time there is TXn happening. Best way is to update the EXchange rate table.
For your query- you can have the rate in PO, in the delivery/Invoice tab, if you fix it then the same will flow to MIRO
But if you do not fix it, then you wishit to enetr during MIRO, pleasefollw as below
IN MIRO enter the invoice date, posting date, enter Bus.place/sectn details then click the Details tab, here you can enter the exchangerate you wish to have during MIRO confirmation.
    Best Regards

  • Exchange rate for FI postings in Billing

    Dear Experts,
Can Exchange rate for FI postings in Billing be determinated by the Pricing date instead of the billing date when we create it?
    Br
    Sophie

    Hi Sophie,
When you create a sales order, the exchange rate is determined only based on the pricing date and not based on the billing date. This is the standard SAP behaviour. You can enable different dates for these and maintain different exchange rates in OB08 to confirm this.
When you create an invoice for such a sales order, two cases can work
If there is no redetermination of pricing, then the exchange rate from SO will just be copied to invoice. The exchange rate will be redetermined only either if there is new pricing or when there is redetermination of exchange rate. Even in this case, the exchange rate is determined only based on the pricing date, not based on billing date. You can confirm this if you maintain two different dates and maintain different exchange rates for these dates.
So what you are asking is already there in system. You only have to reorganise your master data and configuration accordingly for the functionality to take effect.

  • Changing Exchange Rate for MIGO using BADI

    Hi all,
    While processing <b>IMPORTS GR</b>.....
How can I change the Exchange Rate by using <b>BADI</b>
    Regards
    Rajkumar

    Hi,
While creating Purchase order we mention the Exchange Rate there in Header Detail for Delivery/Invoice Tab. To do excahange rate before GR means Change the exchange rate in PO.B ecause in mIGO the excahnge rate will be taken from PO.  u can change the exchange rate in Me21n or in OB08.I f the excahange rate selectedas fixed you can't change the excahange rate keep as it is and fix the indactor as fixed.  Hope it works. Thanking you.
