Excise Table Entry

Hi Friends
1) While we do excise JV through J1IH does it make the part 2 entry in excise table ? If so than in which table?
2) In which table RG23A part1 &part 2 entries registered, while we do PGI & PGR for raw material?
3) In which table RG23C part1 &part 2 entries registered, while we do PGI & PGR for capital goods?
4) In which table RG1 entry registered, while we do PGI & PGR for finished goods?
5) In which table RG23D entry registered, while we do PGI & PGR from depot?
6) While we create return delivery and PGR for excisable material which register gets updated and how (while excise JV has not done)? What is the setting behind it?I know that can be set in excise group but how it updates the part1 entry is it hard coded??

J_1IEXCDTL = Excise invoice line item details
J_1IEXCHDR = Excise invoice header detail
All excise related tables you will get by entering J_1i* in table name and press F4 in SE16.

I have a issue in Depot sale. I created a GR against a PO. Then I posted a Excise invoice. But the excise tables are not updating.

Hi,
While doing the GR through T Code MIGO ( Good Receipt + Purchase Order) > Tick on "Item Ok" & Enter > and see one more additional menu will appear > Excise Invoice >Is there two options 1) No Excise Entry 2) Create RG23D Entry.
If you need to update Excise detail through MIGO you can select "Create RG23D Entry" or if you not require to update Excise entry through MIGO you can select "No Excise Entry" & after generating the GR document you can proceed for Excise updation through T Code J1IG.

I am planning to make table entry for table J_1IPART2 for amount of BED,ECS,SECS & Db/Cr Indicator.
Please suggest the related tables that will affect due to this.

Can you clarify that why do you make direct table entry in J_1IPART2?.
If already Part I entry is there, then you can ahead through J1IEX -> Post -> Vendor - Interal Excise Invoice Number ->
Give Part I Number as input.

Table entries not getting displayed in desired format

Hi All,
In my adobe layout I created a table . I used data format Align Right and align middle for the table entries. In the Output some entries of the table are not displaying in align right and align middle.

That is pretty to much information to help you.
You need to share your technical setting. How did you create the table? Subforms, Table-assistent... what are the values in? Format, what happens when you also pass more than 1 digit to the numbers in the first row, does it show up correct?
So please share more details and explain exact what you have tried to fix the issue. The community is able to help you, but not meant to suggest enaything you could have done.

Right way to preserve all parent table entries in a join with many tables!!

This problem is quite interesting to me. I have asked this question to others but no body is able to provide me with proper answers.
The problem is: How do I join a huge parent table with many child tables (more than 5 child tables) preserving all of the parent table entries. Lets say there is the parent table parentTable and three child tables childTable1, childTable2, childTable3. In order to get the data after joining these tables the query that I have been using was:
select parent.field1, parent.field2, parent.field3, child1.field4, child1.field5, child2.field6, child3.field7 from ParentTable parent, childTable1 child1, childTable1 child2, childTable3 child3 where parent.fielda = child1.fieldb and parent.fieldc = child.fieldd and parent.fielde = child.fieldf.
Although the tables are huge (more than 100,000 entries), this query is very fast, however those parent table entries which do not have child entries are lost. I know that I can left join a parent table with a child table and then with the next child table and then with the next child table and continue. Isn't there a simple solution for this commonly happening problem?
Please provide suggestions please...

Although I do not know exactly how to achieve what you want to achieve but I have seen DBAs/ABAPers in my experience can run queries/scripts using the COUNT function to give the actual number of line items per table for all your 100 or odd tables.

Look via SE11 lock objects, use F4 for tables MAR*, the best for your request is on MARC table with object EMMARCS, so use FM ENQUEUE_EMMARCS and DEQUEUE_EMMARCS.

Deletion of table entries(without maintenance view) in production

here i have got a task to change the data type of one particular field and to delete all the table entries of this table in production.
so in Dev I have tired with z program saved in local object (DELETE FROM Table).
i just want to know how i can delete all the entries of table in production.

Hello,
You can also use transaction SE14.
Start SE14
Enter the table name
Select the radio button "Delete data".
Push the button "Activate and adjust database".
This will drop your table in the DB and recreate it as well as all related indexes.
Indexes are not impacted when you do a regular DELETE statement unless you rebuild your indexes.
Of course you can only do this if data can be deleted for a specific table in ALL clients.

I am getting an error while downloading table entries from webdynpro to excel. After some entries below error script comes and this is not comming all the times.
Is this because of large size?Can anyone please suggest me on this?

Doubt in customizing request with respect to table entries

Hi All,
I have a doubt in customizing request with respect to table entries.
Suppose I have a customizing request with respect to a table that contains say 10 entries in the development system.
Now I am transporting this request to the quality system in which the same table contains 20 entries.
When I am transporting this table from the development system to the quality system, will my 10 entries in the development system get added to the 20 entries in the quality system or will my table get overwritten in the quality system.
What difference will this be if it is a workbench request ? .

Hello,
So if we are transporting contents of a table from one system to another, it should always be a customizing request and not a workbench request right.
If the "Delivery Class" of the table is 'C'(Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import) it will ask for a customizing request.
If it is 'A'(Application table (master and transaction data)), it will ask for Workbench.
To add to your previous qn, when you transport the entries to subsequent system it will always check the KEY FIELDS and then update. If you see a transport, then the table entries are represented by their key fields.
If you create new entries in your table and transport, it will add the records. Else it will modify them

i want to know the changes made to the customized table. i have a 'Z' table in my production system, in that table i would like to know whether any table entry is deleted or not. if at all there is any deletion happened, i want to know who had done it.

Go to Table Maintenance (SM30)- Display mode-- Utilities-- change Logs. Give the Date range. before giving the date range click on display status , this will show you If the display is active or not. Kindly please let me know If you need any more information on this.

No table entries found for specified key

Hi All,
I have developed a program to upload data from flat file with the help of GUI UPLOAD. It is succesfully updating data in my Z-table.
Whenever I tried to view the content of table for specific field, message shows No table entries found for specified key. However if I add * as a suffix, it shows the data & when I directly Execute table it also displays the data.
I have also cross checked the spaces before or after the specific content, no space found.
Only two fields are creating this issue Individually (one of them is key field)

Transporting table entries present in standard SAP R/3 table u201CTMCEXCFZu201D.

Hi All,
We have a requirement where in we need to capture a table entry in transport request in R/3.
The table "TMCEXCFZ" is a standard SAP R/3 table.
The" transport entries" option under the "table entry" in menu bar is disabled in our case.
Is there an alternative way to capture the table entries in the transport request?

Try to go to object changeability in the table....assign the table in a package.....then try to save this...it should ask for a transport...

Logical system entry for table entry

Hi,
After system copy from one system name to another , I am facing some inconsistenices in various tables.
The table entry can be seen in se16.But when I try to select entries from the same table using SELECT statement, table are not getting populated.
I ran the BDLS also . How do I check the logical system entried for table where I have inconsistent entries?

what are you trying to populate?
If your question is, its not showing anything... what error message you're getting? are you trying to run in the DB level?
If you're getting error, that this object doesn't exist in the database then you might not be logging with correct user. its an SAP table, then its owner is the SAP schema user. If you login with the schema user, it should show in a normal select statement. But if you login with <sid>adm then you have to give the correct schema id before tablename.
select * from <SchemaID>.<tablename>
SchemaID may be sapr3, sapsr3, or sap<SID> depending on your release.
