Excisse and custom duty percentage

Well in the bill of entry we get following duty
7.5 %Basic Custom duty
10 %Basic excise Duty
2 % education cess on basic excise duty
1 % Secondary & higher education cess on basic excise duty
2 % education cess on Basic Custom duty
1 % Secondary & higher education cess on Basic Custom duty
4 % additional import
While doing migo i am getting excise tab where i am getting BED, SED, AED, ECS, CESS, NCCD.
From bill of entry I would like to know which is my BED, SED, AED, ECS, CESS, NCCD.then, which I can put in excise invoice.
Regards,
nabil

7.5 %Basic Custom duty - Can't be taken credit posted to Customs clearing a/c
10 %Basic excise Duty -BED
2 % education cess on basic excise duty - ECS
1 % Secondary & higher education cess on basic excise duty - SECESS
2 % education cess on Basic Custom duty - Can't be taken credit posted to Customs clearing a/c
1 % Secondary & higher education cess on Basic Custom duty - Can't be taken credit posted to Customs clearing a/c
4 % additional import - AED
If SECESS is not in excise header / item level tab,you need to apply SAP note to add it in screen.

  • Landed costs and custom duty

    Hello
I have an issue with landed cost and customs duty
The actual customs duty when it is corrected is OK when you use one supplier and one good receipt
when it is with many suppliers and many goods receipts and when you want to correct the actualduty the split is wrong it brings the same value for every item and the split is wrong because it must be based on the item line value...
Did anyone experience the same issue is it corrected with an more recent patch or is there a workaround ?
    SAP BO1 2007A PL39

I am afraid if you need to correct a landed cost with many suppliers and many goods receipts, there may not have any available logic but reverse the entire transaction and redo it.  Line item correction for financial transaction may not be possible due to system restriction.

    Hi Friends,
I am configuring import pricing procedure for china.
    The calculation is mentioned below...
    Gross Price - 100
custom duty - 4 (paid to custom agent)
Vat - 17% on (Gross Price + Custom Duty). VAT is deductibleand paid to custom agent.
Please help on the above scenario.

    Hi
I couldn't see your pricing procedure but Condition need to be defined for import pricing procedure....
    JCDB- BASIC CUSTOM DUTY
    JEDB- ECESS ON CUSTOM DUTY
    JSDB- S&HECSS ON CUSTOM DUTY
    JCV1- CVD
    JVDC- ADDITIONAL CUSTOM DUTY
Add aforesaid conditions in your import pricing procedure and calculation for import process...
    1.GROSS PRICE+CIF= ASSES SABLE VALUE
    2.CALCULATE CUSTOM DUTY ON ***.VALUE
    3.ASSES SABLE VALUE+CUSTOM DUTY
    4.CALCULATE CVD ON ***.VALUE+CUSTOM DUTY
    5.CALCULATE ECESS AND S&HECESS ON CD+CVD
    6.CALCULATE ADD.CUSTOM DUTY ON TOTAL VALUE(up to 5th step)

  • Excise Duty and customs duty

    Hi,
Will anybody give me an idea how to get the refund og excise duty while doing MIGO ???
What are the steps the user should do ????
Explain me the configuration steps also ?????
    Regards,
    N. Somasundaram

In case of ADC, you need to use subtransaction type 'IP', then what all amount goes into AED will be treated as ADC, even in J2I9 same will get reflected.

  • SCE not updated customs duty, cess, hcess, eventhough in material inforecord

    Hi,
We have maintained Standard cost for all materials and material ledger is not active. Due to this freight, clearing charges, cst,VAT non deductable, packing and forwarding and customs all these amounts were going into purchase price variance account. But our requirement is to post materials account.
Our standar cost estimate is based on inforecord. So we have created separate condition type for all the above charges and entered with % in inforecord. And also we have included all these conditions in OKKN valuation startegy under deliver cost tab. Based on this setting we have runned the standard cost estimate. System is calculating all the condition type values except Customs duty, cess and higher education cess. So all the calculated values were posted in materials account and customs duty.cess and higher education cess amount are still going to purchase price varience account.
Cany anybody suggest, how this amount also to be included in material cost.
    govind.

    Dear Govindraj,
Please check in the pricing procedure (M/08) for all non-deductable customs duty, cess and She cess whether the statics field has tick mark.

    HI,
You can create a Seperate Account Group for the same.
if you dont have any thing Defined till date
SPRO-Financial Accounting New>Accounts receiable payable>vendor accounts>Preparation for vendor accounts>Define account Groups with screen layout.
you can also have an internal NUmber Range for the same Also.

  • Custom MIRO and GRN duty value difference

    Dear Guru's
When MIRO is done, the custom duty clearing for  INR 6,821,482.80.
When GRN is done for above, the Custom Duty clearing in GRN doc is for INR 6,828,297.31.
There is a difference of INR 6,814.51, small difference in each custom duty between Custom MIRO and GRN.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
    Edited by: sanjay.s on Dec 17, 2010 12:36 PM

if you make Goods receipt with respect to PO with movement type 101 that is GRN.
If you make the reverse posting of the above with movement type 102 then it is cancellation of GRN, the it will pick entire amount.
If you maintains moving average price for that material it pick the   price available at time of reversal or cancelation

    Hello Lakshmipathi,
    Thanks for the reply
i made a pricing procedure where i maintained all the condition types for all the above excise duties.
As i mentioned that all the above duties like Basic custom duty, CVD, Edu cess on CVD , Scnd Higher Edu Cess on CVD will hit to Basis Excise duty (BED) GL account,so to achieve this i maintained same (EXD) account Key what i used for BED.
But i problem is that i am not getting all the duties in the excise invoice document, how to get all the duties in the Excise invoice.
Kindly let me know what to do, to achieve all the duties in the excise invoice document.

  • Delivery based Customs Duty and Freight

    Hi Experts,
    Scenario : Import Procurement
PO is raised for Import procurement. In general case we mention Customs duty and freight either at header condition or at item condition. But what in case I receive partial material from multiple PO in single delivery? How can I book and load the duty and freight value on material. Also there may be a chance that the other partial quantity can be procured against advance license and no duty will be paid.

    Hi,
If multiple PO is in single BOE, you can add multiple PO in MIRO assignment tab, by clicking "More allocation criteria". Enter the Quantity (partial or full as per delivery) and amount for all conditions of delivered materials, as per the bill of entry (it may or may not be same as amount in PO).
In case of advanced license where there is no duties, you should not put the delivery cost conditions in PO.
    Regards,
    Sudeep.

    Calculat.type A (Percentage)
    Cond.category B (Delivery costs)
    Activate "Currency Conversion" and "Accrual"

pls tell me how can i map this scenario.
    pls do the needful.
    regards,

    Hi,
In your Import Pricing use condition type as JADC
And maintain this in SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Basic Settings > Determination of Excise Duty > Maintain Excise Defaults > Hera maintain condition type JADC under column "ADC cond" for Tax Procedure
Also in SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Basic Settings > Maintain Company Code Settings > Here assign CVD Clearing A/c in field "CVD account" for Company Code
Also do account determination in SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Account Determination > Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction > Here maintain ETT "GRPO" with Subtransacion type "IP"
And in SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Account Determination > Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction > here do account determination for combination of ETT "GRPO", Excise Group with Subtransacion type "IP"
    Keep this condition type as following in M/06;
Cond. class   A Discount or surcharge
    Calculat.type A Percentage
    Cond.category B Delivery costs
    Activate "Accrual"
    Now during transactions;
When you capture and post BOE, it will debit the ADC Input A/c and credit the CVD Clearing A/c And during MIRO, it will debit CVD Clearing A/c and credit Vendor A/c.

  • Difference between Additional Excise duty and Additional Duty on imports

    Dear All,
I want to know the difference between additional excise duty on domestic procurement and additional duty on imported material, mainly in context of the credit availing. How much credit we can avail if we procure a capital material (domestic and imported).
    Regards,
    Ashish

    Dear,
Excise duty is a duty on production or manufacture of goods, It is levied on manufacture of goods and the liability to pay excise duty arises immediately on manufacture or production of goods.
Additional duty is levied as per custom tarff act and is equal to excise duty levied on a LIKE product manufactured or produced in India.
Sometimes, foreign sellers abroad may export to India goods at below the amounts charged by them in their domestic markets in order to capture Indian markets to the detriment of Indian Industry.
