Execute Transaction from 4.6 SAP release

Dears,
I have to execute MII trasactions from SAP but my release is a 4.6.
I have already implemented such interface but between MII and SAP EEC6 relaese by using HTTP service.
In 4.6 release the class I have used in the ECC6 version (cl_http_client) is not existing.
Do you know how to consume HTTP services in 4.6?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Best regards,
Domenico.

Domenico,
To do this use a JCo RFC that acts as a communication gateway between SAP and the Web service. Essentially, you would create a Java-based registered server program that can be invoked from within an ABAP program. That registered server program would then be responsible for accessing  the Web service and translating between the HTTP request/response data and the ABAP import/export parameters.
Also go through the below links it will help you in someway:
web service in sap 4.6c(wsconfig,wsadmin,soamanager does not exist)

  • CIN installation on ECC6 SAP system upgrated from 4.6C SAP release

    Hi all,
    We have a ECC6 SAP system upgrated 4 years ago from a 4.6C SAP release system. In the old SAP release we don't have installed CIN 40A for India localization, and now we need to have this functionalities has we have to do a rollout on SAP for one indian company.
    Problem is that we don't have found any OSS note that explain clearly what we have to do to have in our ECC6 SAP system CIN functionalities.
    After application of support packages on level 17 (up minimum required by OSS note 1175384) we have launch function j_1bsa_component_check but we have exception that country IN isn't installed.
    We can't use transaction O035 as we have a SAP system already customized.
    Thanks in advance for any help or useful information someone can do us about this problem.
    Sorry if this couldn't be the right forum to post this type of message, but is't difficult for me, in this particular case, to find the right forum for this type of question.

  • Execute SAP transaction from Outlook

    Hi,
    I want to know whether it is possible to open SAP transaction from out look or not. My scenario is when work item triggers from WF to Outlook, which carry a link to open SAP transaction directly from outlook. If it is possibli plz explain me in detail, what are the steps involved, if not what are the alternative solutions. We are working ECC5.0

    Hi Shambu,
    First, please remove your e-mail from your post as this is not according to forum guidelines.
    It is possible to send a link to a transaction to outlook. It is similar to the executable attachments the extended notification and RSWUWFML2 create. You could check how they do it and reverse engineer for the transaction. But all the users need a SAPGui locally installed. This maybe a problem as the MAPI is used.
    FYI the MAPI is no longer supported by SAP, it is not supported since release 4.7 I think. It has been replaced by RSWUWFML(2) which is being replaced by the extended notifications. I think there has been an article about it recently here on SDN.

  • How to execute SAP Transaction from cmd

    Hi, Dear All,
    How can we execute an SAP Transaction from the command prompt.
    Your inputs are highly appreacited.
    regards

    Go to the command prompt (CMD) and change to the directory where the SAPGUI software is located. Then, run: sapgui <hostname> <instance> Example: sapgui sapprd 00 This is a very fast way to start a SAPGUI session against the indicated SAP system and instance number.
    another way is to locate the file of logon pad
    in my system it was at C:\WINDOWS\SAPwksta\setup\SAL
    after that type saplogon.sal
    It will take you to the logon pad.

  • Execute Business Transaction from xMII via XI to SAP R/3

    Hello everyone,
             I have a requirement to post the SAP R/3 transaction from xMII via XI. Does anyone one could give me the steps needs to follow to accomplish this.
    Thanks,
    Mahesh

    Mahesh,
    So as i understand your flow is xMII -> XI -> SAP ECC. So basically in this case u can setup XI to host a web service and xMII can call the web-service and post the data to XI. You will have to get the WSDL for the XI Web Service and then use it in the Web Service action block in xMII to consume. You will also need to setup the soap adapter in XI to receive the web service call from xMII. Once xMII calls the web service, XI can then update the data into SAP ECC either thru Idoc or RFC adapter.
    So once your trigger point in xMII is activated, it should call the BLS which in turn will call the XI Web Service and post the data to XI.
    In case the scenario is the other way round you can also host your BLS as a Web Service in xMII. XI can then call the web service and send the data to xMII. Alternatively you can also use the http post action block in xMII to do the same.
    Let me know if you need anymore info.
    Thanks,
    Kapil.

  • Calling SAP Transaction from WDA

    Hi,
    We have a peculiar requirement of calling SAP Standard Transaction from Web Dynpro ABAP.Well, we tried achieving this using the Transactional iview. On click of appropiate link/button in my applicaiton, I can call the Transactional iview. But the problem is, I could not pass on the data from WDA Application to Transactional iview. I need some inputs in handling such cases.
    The case might look something similar to PCR's final updation(like after all approvals of PCRs, the final Administrator executes the workitem which in turn calls the Notification Maintenance and this in turn calls the PA40 passing the data from Adobe form(XML data) to PA40 txn. Like this, After all my approvals, I would like to call the SAP Transaction passing the data from WDA Application. Hope I am clear.

  • Run a SAP ERP transaction from a BPF

    Hi Experts:
    We would need to run a SAP ERP transaction from our BPF. Would it be directly possible?
    I guess it would be possible by programming a BADI,  wouldn't it?  Would it be the best option?
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Kind regards
      Jose

    Hi Jose -
    You can execute an ERP transaction from a Drill Through command if your EPR system has an ITS (Internet Transaction Server)installed.  Please see the following "How To" guide for details:
    [How To..Configure Drill Through Functionality  |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/10a56b21-04b9-2d10-a6b7-e0f8732b4142]
    You cannot directly access the Drill Through from a BPF, you would need to link a report into the BPF then link the Drill Through from the report.

  • Execute ABAP Code Inspector from Outside of SAP

    Hi all...
    For reporting purpose, I would like to use ABAP Code Inspector (transaction SCI) for generating output as a file, it should call from outside of SAP through RFC function module and generate the list (output) as flat file (or XML), does anyone have been done with similar work like this? I wonder if you could share your experience with me...
    thanks in advance,
    yayan irianto.

    I managed to set up the variant, however found a problem.
    I used "Search ABAP Statement Patterns" under "Search Functs" and set the pattern like followings.
    SELECT + INTO *
    SELECT SINGLE + INTO *
    However following statements were detected.
    SELECT * INTO TABLE IT_DRAW FROM DRAW.
    SELECT MANDT INTO TABLE IT_DRAW FROM DRAW.
    SELECT SINGLE * INTO TABLE IT_DRAW FROM DRAW.
    SELECT SINGLE MANDT INTO TABLE IT_DRAW FROM DRAW.
    It's because + means one ABAP token in the code inspector.
    Is there anyway to find only "SELECT SINGLE *" and "SELECT *" ?

  • Calling SAP transaction from WebDynpro

    HI,
    Could someone post a link as to how I may call a SAP transaction from a webdynpro.
    Will this be an external call to R/3 or can i get it embedded in my dynpro.......
    Tnks..

    Hi,
    You can call by creating external window method.
    create LINK to URL or LINK TO ACTION according to requirement, for this. write code in onaction of that.
    data: iv_url type string value 'http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=*se38 RS38M-PROGRAMM=rsparam;DYNP_OKCODE=SHOP'.
      data: api_component  type ref to if_wd_component,
              window_manager type ref to if_wd_window_manager,
              window type ref to if_wd_window.
      api_component = wd_comp_controller->wd_get_api( ).
      window_manager = api_component->get_window_manager( ).
      window = window_manager->create_external_window(
                     url = iv_url
                     modal = abap_false ).
      window->open( ).
    Cheers,

  • Calling SAP Transaction from BSP

    I wonder whether it is possible to call SAP transaction from BSP application and pass to it some data; e.g., PO# when calling VA02?
    The called transaction could appear in a separate MS IE Window (like in some Portal applications) or in SAP GUI.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thank you in advance

    I have launched the Java SAPGui from BSP pages before.  I used SNC so that the users were logged on via Single Sign On.  I store the Java Gui in the Mime directory.  You can force the startup transaction.  Theorectically you could also Gui Scripting to try and control the Gui and force in the default value for your PO field.  I have not tried that however.  You will probably want to check the Service Marketplace for documents on the Gui Scripting.  The following is the code from my BSP page to launch the Java Gui in the Browser as an applet:

  • BAPI for calling Z transaction From NON-SAP system

    hi all, am new to BAPI i want to know that can we call any standard or Z transaction from NON-SAP system using BAPI if yes then plz let me know how.???
    thanx...

    BAPI's are not used for calling transactions. They have the same result though, a business partner for example kan be created, and maintained via the GUI, but it can also be done via a BAPI. These BAPI's are created for calling them from (non-) SAP systems since they are remote enabled. However, this means that the calling application / party will have to 'build' some sort of application themselves in order to call these BAPI's from 'outside' of the SAP system.
    The calling application will have to have access to the system, which can be maintained in the remote destination transaction SM59.
    But enough of this, there are lots and lots of posts on SDN about BAPI's, remote destination etc.

  • Executing custom Transaction from Dialog Task

    Hi all,
          I am calling a custom Transaction from a dialog task  (absolutely, from the method of the task). The user will be executing that workitem from ESS.
    My problem is, while the user executes the workitem it is giving two screen titles in the top as mentioned below. One is the usual ESS header (Work center of ESS12345) and other one is the "Title in of custom program".
    I am not getting why it is giving two titles in the screen. Please advice.
    Versions being used.

    ESS - ITS 640

    This is probably because there is no new window opened when the task is started.

  • Triggering an SAP Transaction from Adobe Form

    i wanna know if i can Trigger an SAP Transaction from an Adobe Form...
    so that i can open the transaction like MM01, or VA01.
    THx,
    Guru

    Hi Graham!
    I have a similar problem in transaction CIC0 and the Sales summary tab in CRM.
    I have created a new class and assigned it to a new fact sheet. One column in this fact sheet should be a hyperlink defined in the way that you have described.
    When using method get_event_parameter I are not getting any data for the SAPEVENT parameters - I don't get the value, only the keys:
    <a href="SAPEVENT:?OBJTYPE&OBJKEY>
    How should I procced to assign an object type and object key to this SAPEVENT???
    Would also be very nice if anyone could explain how to "call transaction" works.
    Help understanding this would be very appreciated.
