Hi Gurprit,
For executing the bapi second time, you can put the execute bapi code in the action of the button which is on your form. You need not write the bind code again.

SAP GRC RAR 5.3 SP9 "Cannot execute BAPI UserList"

Hi everyone,
After upgrading to 5.3 SP9, my client started experiencing some problems with RAR. I doubt it's linked to the upgrade, since I did all the testing and results were as expected. The problem is as follows:
Using RAR, for only one specific system (SAP ECC6 box), when running foreground AND background analysis for USERS, all analysis fails with the following error log (see below message). All ROLE analysis work as expected (SOD and critical actions/autorisations).
In the configuration tab, the connexion test is successful. I did some testing with a BASIS from the client and we identified that when running a successful analysis, we could log a RFC connection to the backend system (dont recall the transaction used though). When the analysis failed, no connexion was logged.
The client's GRC admin opened a ticket with SAP, but I was wondering if the collective knowledge of SDN could maybe help us identify the cause of our problems.
Any solution path is welcome

Yes, I am aware there might be an issue with the BAPI USER list execution, it is pretty excplicit in the message.
I was wondering if anyone has seen this error before and if someone can help me trace the source of the error. A message was already open with SAP before christmas and no solution was identified at the moment.

Execute BAPI for different input values and dispaly data in a table

I have a specific problem about executing BAPI multiple times for different input values and didplay result in a table.
I am using the code similar to the following logic.

But I am getting the table data only for the input parameter 30.I mean its actually display the data in table only for the last input parameter.
So May I ask you all if you know the solution for this problem.PLease advise me with some tips .or sample code is very much appreciated.I promise to award points to the right answer/nice advises.

How to execute BAPIs by getting the input from the user through the browser

I have created a simple xMII transaction using BAPI. It is a simple BAPI with one input. Now i want the transaction to be executed by getting the input from the user through browser. Once the user enters the value and clicks on a button, I want the result of the BAPI to be displayed in the grid. How to link the BAPI/transaction with applet/Javascript coding.

The first thing I would recommend would be for you to collaborate with your colleague Vinodh, since his/her recent thread is very similar to yours: Calling a BAPI from web page
In your case, the iGrid applet will run the Xacue query template and automatically display the results from your output parameter.
I would encourage you to take a look at the sticky thread at the top of the forum entitled "MII Manufacturing Templates Updated" since this MII project is full of samples for you and your colleague to learn from.

I want to display PO on EP, for which i created one model for BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL. Then I bind import elements of BAPI with inputfield.

Execute BAPI and bind input through inerfaceview

Hi all,
i am getting vendor no as URL parameter through start plug.
i need this parameter to give as input param to BAPI, here is my problem, i have to run the BAPI with this param and show the output data when user fires event in another app.
The parameter will some directly into interfaceview and then i have to bind the data in the custom cntroller, can i call execute bapi method of custom controller in the default mehod of interfaceview, in this case how can i pass the url param from interface view to custom controller before execution.
anyone has similar app or have some idea.

In the interface view properties add the custom controller .then in the default plug of ur application u have the parameter then pass that parameter to the method which can be called in the default plug by getting the contoller usage..
wdThis.wdGetControllerName().MethodName();
In the methodName pass the parameter u get from start plug and write the code for BAPI execution....

Easy Question:Select many rows from a table and execute BAPI for these rows

Hi Experts,
I have created one WD project. The WD project fetches some records of backend using BAPI and displays in a table. I have to select some rows from the table and then execute BAPI for selected rows.
How I can select multiple records from the table and then execute another BAPI for selected rows.

Hi,
In the Node which you binded to the table create one more attribute of type boolean.
For example your node is as below:
//Table Node
TableNode
> Att1
> Att2
> isSelected(boolean) - Newly created attribute for this requirement.
//Result Node contains the elements selected in TableNode
ResultNode
>Att1
>Att2
Now in the table create one more Column with Checkbox as tablecell editor. Now bind this boolean attribute to that check box.
Now in the code you can get the selected rows by user as below:
for(int i=0;i<TableNode().size();i++)
if(wdContext.nodeTableNode().getTableNodeElementAt(i).getIsSelected()==true)
    IPrivateTestView.IResultNode element=wdContext.createResultNodeElement();
    element.setAtt1(wdContext.nodeTableNode().getTableNodeElementAt(i).getAtt1());
    element.setAtt2(wdContext.nodeTableNode().getTableNodeElementAt(i).getAtt2());
   wdContext.nodeResultNode().addElement(element);

Error while executing WDA with PDf form

Hi,
when i'm executing WDA with PDF form i'm getting the following error message.
i've checked for Reader credential properties from Basis, they say evething is okay.

Also when i execute other WDA application with PDF it is generating PDF .

When you tried other WDAs with PDFs, where they interactive PDFs? The reader rights are only needed for interactive PDFs.
>WebDynpro Exception: ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: Could not retrieve a password for credential: ReaderRights(200,101).
That error message would sure to seem to point that the credentials are not accessible to the user that ADS webservice call is being made by. That would certainly seem to me to point to a configuration problem at the Basis level.

Error while using jsp scriptlet or expression with JSPDynpage default jsp

Hi everyone,
I am getting the following error while trying to use any kind of jsp scriptlet or expression within the default jsp page that is created with JSPDynpage application:

For example if I try to use even simple syntax like:

here also the <%=flightCustomer.getVisibleFirstRow()%> line gives the above mentioned error. If I remove such scriptlets or expression then it works fine.
What could be the problem. Are jsp scriptlets or expressions incompatible with portal applications?

Is it possible to call a BAPI with a table in table as import and export data?

CANT execute query with parameter on user defined tables using query genera

Dear All,
I have problem when executing query with parameter on user defined tables using query generator.
It seems SBO cannot accept parameter to query user defined tables.
I've tried these:
SELECT T0.U_Status FROM [@ST_PR_H] T0 WHERE T0.U_Status = [%0] --- this FAIL
I try to pass the value directly without using parameter and It works
SELECT T0.U_Status FROM [@ST_PR_H] T0 WHERE T0.U_Status = 2 --- this SUCCESS
This one works
SELECT * FROM RDOC T0 WHERE T0.width =[%0] --- this SUCCESS
and this one works too
SELECT * FROM RDOC T0 WHERE T0.width = 595 --- this SUCCESS
Is there anyone can help me ....???

I generated this code using query wizard ....
SELECT T0.[U_Status] AS 'Document Status' FROM [dbo].[@ST_PR_H] T0 WHERE T0.[U_Status] = (N'2' )
and replaced the (N'2' ) with [%0]
SELECT T0.[U_Status] AS 'Document Status' FROM [dbo].[@ST_PR_H] T0 WHERE T0.[U_Status] = [%0]
and It worked ......

1) Badis means:

I have a BAPI checking logon credentials for the user . how to use this BAPI for making decisions that is if the logon is correct then perform one process else go to logon screen again .

1. Follow the steps mentioned in section <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/33/198141f906040de10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm">Exposing an RFC-Enabled Function Module as a Callable Object</a> to use the BAPI as a Callable Object.
2. Follow the steps mentioned in tutorial # 93 and 93a in the CAF Tutorial Center for the decision part.
