Executing the webservice only once by the pdf

Hi,
I am using a WebService call in my pdf form but I want to call that webservice only once from the form by that particular user. How can we do that?
I tried to do this by adding the invisible text field in the form and maintain a flag to check the webservice is executed or not. but when I close the pdf and again reopen then the webservice is executed at the first time so how can I solve this problem?

Set the Hidden fields Binding property to 'Normal' that way the value in that field is persistent. And then always check for the flag before you execute the code for calling WSDL. Hope this helps.

hi,
ejbCreate() and setSessionContext() are called once by the container after the bean instace is created.when the bean instance goes to pool and again return to ready state to handle client requests these methods r never called .only bussiness methods r called.this is in case of stateless session bean.
in case of stateful session bean, each bean instance is associated with client.so,when new client requests, new bean instance is created and above 2 methods are called. no pool terminology in case of stateful session bean.
ejbRemove() is called by the container when it is abt to remove bean instance,so it its obvious tht it is called only once.

how to get page one to animate only once in interactive pdf? I like when the document opens up in acrobat and the the page animations work but when I go to one of the pages and hit my designated home button it goes back to page one but it reloads again. As a user it would drive me crazy to have to wait for all of it to load......anyway to have that page one load once as the opening page?

I don't think you really mean animations (unless you have a placed SWF file) because things created with the Animation panel don't work in PDF. Nonetheless, you're talking about some kind of interactivity which is set to happen On Page Load.
So when you return to that page, of course the interactivity loads again.
There isn't a On Page Load Once command.
Perhaps you need to rethink why the interactivity is there. If it's important, maybe it should be triggered by a rollover or by clicking a button.

Execute case structure only once

Hi everybody.
I want to execute a case structure inside a while loop only once. The case strucutre is controlled by a counter, so that every time the counter has a value multiple of N, the program records an acoustic signal and calculate the main peaks of the FFT. The problem I have at the moment is that, every time the case is executed, it records and analyze the sound several times until the counter jumps to the next value. I want the case to execute only once every time the counter has a value multiple of N. I atttach the vi.

GERD is right. You should use a feedback node to store the previous count value. If the current count is Not Equal AND the remainder is Equal To Zero run your case.
Since your counts are all integers, I would also recommend changing the representation to an integer type. I32 would likely be the most appropriate.

Well if you haven't already read it two or three times the User manual is really very good. Apple really did a nice job with it. The on-line version is nice because it is searchable.
After that the Apple Pro Training Series book Aperture 3 is very useful. Its basically split into three parts. The library, adjustments and sharing. In addition if you get all the way through it you can take the Certification test and become, well certified.
Rwboyer who posts here on and off has a good site and a couple of ebooks that I found useful.

[EVL] Execute constraint check only once (per model)

I have been working with Epsilon for a few days now and I love the tool so far
I am currently working on a model validation but I cannot find an elegant way to perform a certain check only once for the entire model. The casus/Meta-Model is very simple. I have a Node that has 0..* references to itself. The idea is to have a very simple tree where nodes have a reference to their parent.
What I want to check is that there is one and only one root node, so only one node without a reference. This results in the following check: AT!ATNode.allInstances.select(n|n.Parents.size() == 0).size() = 1
I do not know where to perform this check however. If I perform it in the context of the node, it (correctly) returns an error, but does this for every node.
I also tried to have the entire model as 'context' or to apply the check in a pre-condition, but could not get any of these approaches to work. I also could not find a suitable guard to put on the constraint.
Can you help me find a more elegant solution?

May be you could model the "entire model" ... I mean, it's a kind of a good practice to create a ModelRoot class containing all your nodes. [A better name could be "Tree" or another appropriate name according to your domain]
Then your validation wizard, with the exactly same expression, could be set on this class, a.ka. the "entire model" ?
Furthermore, you could also ensure the root unicity by setting proper cardinalities in the metamodel, and avoid writing a check.
I even met a special case where I had to model explicitely the RootNode as a class => A tree contains one root node which itself contains nodes ...

Once sent the other messages in the conversation disappeared. I NEED THEM BACK! They all had very important attachments. I have tried looking for them in deleted items, even though I didn't throw any of them away, still cant find them. Never had this problem before. I'm pretty sure its a setting somewhere. Also tried expanding all conversations, no luck. Searching for the mails under the sent email address, no luck.
I'm sure they are not deleted but have somehow been hidden by Mail. Very frustrating.

I have found found out what has happened. I had requested a statement dating back to April 2012 from a supplier. They replied back with the latest statementof 2013 only but used the same subject heading as the previous monthly statements. Apple Mail automatically grouped these and I thought that they were sent altogether. As soon as I replied to the last email all other the previous emails ungrouped from the conversation leaving me lost as to where they had gone. They were all still sitting in my inbox but no longer part of the trcked conversation. I searched under the subject heading and all individual mails were all still there. (feeling stupid - )

When adding music to iTunes, you can set it to either make a local copy of the file, or simply point to the original location of the file (for example, on an external hard drive). If it is set to do the latter, it will not be able to play or transfer those files when the external hard drive is not plugged in. You may find the following article helpful:

Just in case you are not running iOS 7 and don't have the control center feature.....
If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it and you are running iOS 5 or 6, double tap the home button and swipe to the right and look for the lock icon all the way to the left.
If you are running iOS 7, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to the control center and the lock icon is in the row of icons at the top all the way to the right.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the button

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database.
