Firefox automatically updated my existing version. After the update things started to go wrong. I decided to update to the latest version 3.6.14 [was3.6], after downloding the 3.6.14, I started to run the update file, it got to the stage where it was checking the system & said I had to close an existing running file of firefox. Here the problem, there was no firefox running, under CTRL/ALT/DEL the task manager says the only task running was the firefox inst prog.? The Inst prog will not go past the "close firefox file that is running". Any help will be appreciated, because I don't want to be running EI for long. Regards, Allan.

How exactly did you shut down your laptop? Not a hard restart (holding down the power button), I hope... if that's the case, then it is extremely unlikely the file is still intact on your computer. If it is, it would be an image on your RAM, and it is time-and-resource-intensive to recover it if it is even there. RAM memory is disposable and always being written over. Sorry dude...
If it wasn't a hard restart, Keynote should have made a backup, unless you 'Force Close'd it.
It really all depends on how your mac was shut down.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can recover any photos in photostream, by logging into your account on your computer. Any photos that are in the camera roll and not in photostream may be in your backup if yo kept one. When you replace your phone, restore it using this back up.

I think the warning is very clear.
What warning? Where do you say that this plan you suggest will lose at least some, and possibly a whole lot of metadata, plus the original files of edited photos. This is significant dataloss. And you should warn people that this is the case.
While your metadata and originals may not be important to you, that is not necessarily the case for other users.

This is nonsense. The iPhoto Library has no need of "cleaning" and certainly not in any way that trashes a whole lot of data.
I'm very impressed that you assess the application based on the sound of the name. It's not a common way to review applications, but I'm sure it has some merit.
FWIW it has been recommended on this - and other - sites for many years and has proven safe and effective.

Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone/iPad then try logging out of your account on the phone/iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it

the mute button is a switch you need to flip, not touch. if you look at it and see color, its on.

Make sure you have the Latest version of iTunes on your computer.

You are using a version of the newest GarageBand 10.0, and not GarageBand '11 as in your original post. And I was sending you screenshots from GarageBand '11, LOL!
In GarageBand 10.0 is the end-of-song marker hiding behind the zoom controls. Zoom out as far as possible by shifting the zoom scrollbar to the left. Then you should be able to see a corner of the end-of-song marker peeping out behind the zoom control. Try to grab it with the mouse pointer and shift it to the time you want.
