Exit IMRC0001 not executing

Hi Experts,
I m trying to implement the exit IMRC0001 for creating notification through ik11.
but when ever i am trying to debug the exit is not executing .
i had just put a break point in ZXMRCU01.
but the control is not stopping there..

After creating include ZXMRCU01, Have you activated the exit?
If you have done so and your break-point is not getting triggered then try the following exits :
IMRC0002 MeasPoint: Menu exit for customer-specific function
IMRC0003 MeasDoc: Menu exit for customer-specific function
IMRC0004 Measure.doc.:Exit according to stndrd checks for new mes.doc
IMRC0005 Measure point: Exit in AUTHORITY_CHECK_IMPT

The default SAP functionality provided to control the output controller functions via auth. objects S_SPO_DEV, S_SPO_ACT & S_ADMI_FCD does not do what we would like to do.
There's a user-exit available to implement some additional code: SPOOAUTH / EXIT_SAPLSPOR_001.
I've activated SPOOAUTH via CMOD and added a record in table TSPOPTIONS (AUTHORITY, value CUSTOM) which was mentioned in the documentation of the function module.
No other changes were made.
However, this user-exit is not called when I start trx. SP01.In the selection screen I choose to show all spool request from all users for a specific time period. According to the documentation this should trigger the user-exit.
Now the funpart begins:
I've debugged SP01 and found that FM RSPO_CHECK_JOB_PERMISSION contains:
       IF INIT IS INITIAL.
         data: v like tspoptions-value.
         call function 'RSPO_OPTION_GET'
           exporting
             name                = SPOPT_AUTH
           IMPORTING
             VALUE               = v.
         if not v is initial.
return value of v should be CUSTOM. However it is empty -> skips the user-exit.
The check in FM RSPO_OPTION_GET contains:

Hi Mark,
Could be that the option value is being picked from cache/buffer (old value). You can restart the system and verify.
Also, after putting a break-point in FM RSPO_OPTION_GET, you can edit the value of 'v' in debugger and set it to CUSTOM, just to check whether the user-exit gets executed in this case.

User exit code does not execute

I'm having a problem with User exit code that does not execute yet seems to be set up correctly.
The User exit is implemented as FM "EXIT_SAPLIPW1_001" in function group XQSM.
I've tried everything I know of with the CMOD and SMOD transactions, and I suspect some sort of transport error.
The only clue I can find in comparing the development system (which works) with the test system (which does not work) is that running "Extended Check" in SE80 on function group XQSM fails with the following error:
"The namespace of program SAPLXQSM has the setting "C" and cannot be tested."
Has anyone any idea what could have happened?

Let us try to retrace the steps.
1. You created a Z project in CMOD and assigned the enhancement IQSM0001 and the component EXIT_SAPLIPW1_001 and activated the same. This is there in the transport.
2. You double clicked on the include in the user exit and created it. You activated the code and included it in the same transport.
If you did the above steps, then your user exit should be active in your test system.
Can you please go to SE10, and list out the objects in your transport? You should see entries in there like below(not necessarily a complete list)
R3TR CMOD <your project name>
R3TR PROG ZXQSMU01
See if you created any of the objects as local objects.

Is it a warning or an error message? If it is a warning, you can ignore it.
[I think] the message is for an infoobject which expects a conversion exit check in the transfer rule, but it is not checked. If you identify and select the conversion for the field, this message should not appear.

User exit U935 in Mod. Pool RGGBS000 not executing in Parallel Processing

Hi,
Settlement of IO (KO88) is not successful in parallel processing mode.
While doing Settlement of IOs (KO88) in parallel processing mode, I am getting an error on account assignment object. CO account assignment in OKC9, an user exit U935 is maintained and this user exit is used in Mod.Pool RGGBS000.
When running the settlement in normal mode, the program is running through this user exit and settlement is successful. But in prallel processing mode, looks like the settlement program is not executing / by passing the user exit and errs out with CO object assignment.
How can we make the settlement execute through the user exit in parallel processing mode?

If the user exit supposed to trigger thru substitution (GGB1), then check whether active status is 1 in OKC9. Just a wild guess....

"ORA-27369: job of type EXECUTABLE failed with exit code: Not owner" is what I copied from ADDITIONAL_INFO of USER_SCHEDULER_JOB_RUB_DETAILS.
One thing I don't understand of your words is that
"On 10gR1 and 10gR2 you can redirect the stdout/stderr within your script and take a look at those log files."
In my script, I have log files but I cannot see it. I guess the job fails directly without hitting the redirection line in the script. Do you mean I shall write something like this

Another one is
"make sure that the user that external jobs run as must be able to run your script"
But OS user and database user are two different accounts at different level.
I am using 10.2.0.2 RAC. The Unix script runs successfully every night. I just want to take advantage of DBMS_SCHEDULER to avoid host dependency.

Order save flow(r3 outbound) not executing user exit

hi experts,
i want to enhance the middleware flow for orders flowing from r3 to crm. i created a function module(user exit) in r3 for that and registered it in tables tbe24 and tps34. surprisingly the customer save (in r3) flow executes that function module but order save doesnt. please give me your expert comments on this. suitable points will be rewarded.

i tried doing that also. in fact i am changing the existing orders only. i changed the existing customers and found that that user exit is being executed but when i changed the existing orders i could not see it executing that user exit. Any guess?

Default value of BeX customer Exit variable not Displayed in WeBI??

Hello Experts,
We are stuck with a problem where WeBI report is created on top of BeX query and we are not able to see the default value of Bex Customer exit variable in WeBI run. Here is the complete scenario:
1. One restricted KF is created in BeX, restricted with Customer exit variable on net Due date. And this variable is mandatory, ready for input, and Default value in calculated is user exit as current Week's Monday.
2. So, by default KF data should be restricted to Monday of current week, if user does not change this value.
3. Now, WeBI report is created on top of this Bex query, and all is working fine, i.e. we are getting variable as Prompt in WeBI, but Default value is not shown while Running the Webi Report.
So, need your inputs on the same, if default values from BeX in WeBI is supported or not? If yes, why this is happening, and how to resolve it?
Please notice, the restrcition is in KF only, it is not a separate restrcition on Net Due date in Filter area or in Defualt area of BeX
and we are on SAP BW 7.1 and BOXI 3.1 SP4.

WebI will prompt when executed, but the default values calculated by the user exit - do not appear.
Note: If the BEx variable has property 'ready for input' set / enabled, then its WebI prompt shows ok, but no default value appears.
Cause
This behaviour expected 'by design' (in the context of the product's current limitations) as explained in the online guide below:

Characteristic variable > processing type > Customer Exit is "Supported, without user entry"

The SQL query is not executing

I have the following situation: In a project we designed our reports calling a stored procedure the exits in a MS SQL Server 200 database. The Stored Procedures works fine and when they are used in the report everything works perfectly.
The reports are being made with CR DEsigner 11, when the designer ends them, ha pass them to me and we put them in our java web application. I open them and even preview them since the Crystal Reprots Perspective of Eclipse and I can see the data, so everything to this point is OK.
The problem comes when I change of connection, I'm trying to connect every report to the same host and database, and when the reprot is displayed in the browser there is no data. I profile the SQL commands that are executed when the report is requested and I found that the reprot is not executing the stored procedure.
I guess because i'm connectring the report to the same database and host that was used when the report is created and i'm also passing exactly the same parameters of the stored procedure, then report thinks that it doesn't have executing again becuase it will be the same information.
SO, i wonder if there is a way to request to the report to execute the sql query every time i have to display it.

What happens when you try to view the report using a simple viewer.jsp?without changing the connection?

If you configure Log4J logging to DEBUG, you should see the database invokes from the Crystal Java engine, specifically the queries sent and the number of rowsets returned. Do you notice any errors?
I have a problem here with log4j. In my project i'm using spring and with the help of spring i configure log4j, basically with spring is easier to configure log4j.
I'm telling you this because i have log4j working but when my application reaches the code to change the connection to the rerport, log4j dies and stop sending any message to the stdout or to a log file. I haven't since this behavior in any other app o library. So i want to guess i have something wrong with my log4j or maybe with log4j+spring.
So, i remove all the code of spring referring to log4j, but the problem with log4j wasn't solved.
What i will try now is to remove spring from the project.
This is my log4j.properties:

Whenever you post provide your 4 digit Oracle version (result of SELECT * FROM V$VERSION).
Confirm that the procedure works properly when called from sql*plus.
For example here is some code that tests a package procedure I have in the SCOTT schema

Customer Exit IMRC0001 for condition based preventive maintenance

Dear Experts,
I am using customer Exit IMRC0001 for creating maintenance order if my measuring point reading exeeds the thresold value or it is out of the upper and lower limit range , which i have set for that particular Measuring point.
This scenario is working fine if i am creating measuring point with unit *C (Degree centigrade-Temp).
But it is not working fine for measuring point having unit other then *C
Like : Kg/Cmsq, Bar, Run Hr, Vaccum, voltage, current, consumption etc
The Reason for this i have found out.The logic return in the program only considers the *C unit
Say if i set 50c as my target value in Measuring point*
In Table IMPTT the value is getting stored as 50 + 273.15 = 323.15
But if i enter 5 Ohm as my target value in Measring point
In Table IMPTT the value is getting stored as 5 only.
Target Value field name is DESIR
So i want to know why for some units the same value is getting stored and why for some units value with some formula getting stored.

The internal display of field 'Measuring Point Target Value' has the SI unit belonging to the unit of measurement.
Example:
For temperatures, the target value can be displayed in the user interface (RIMR0-DESIC) in the units of measurement Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvin. However, the database display in field IMPTT-DESIR always refers to the respective SI unit Kelvin.
As the change documents always refer to the database display, they also refer to the SI unit.

Custom Code not Executing

We implemented SAP 3/1/2010 and have had 3 separate custom programs that have behaved in this same manner. Here is what happens.
1. User runs tcode per usual business process
2. Custom program results are not created. In other words, it appears that the custom program does not execute because the results of the custom program are not created.
3. Rerun same tcode with debug stopper
    a) If the user puts a "debug stopper" in the custom program
    b) the custom code is executed
    c) custom code functions as expected and results are displayed properly
4. remove the stopper
5. Execute tcode and it works properly
So, the custom program is active and is executed (when stopper is there) and functions as expected. However, it does not ALWAYS execute the code (or so it seems from the results that are displayed)
Another work around that we have discovered.
1. User executes tcode and discovers the custom program did not produce expected results
2. User logs off of SAP
3. Logs back on and executes tcode
4. custom program expected results are displayed.
As I said at the beginning, we have experienced this with 3 different custom programs now. I have worked with our Basis team and have not found a solution as to why the custom programs are not executing "all the time".

Custom program = It is code that is executed in a user exit, or is a stand alone program
The 3 different programs are all doing various things. 1) Passing parameters to vertex 2) very complex as it adds pricing conditions and updates forwarding agent partner 3) Stand alone program updates field in BSEG
No security objects are involved in any of the 3 programs.
Yes, this is in the production environment.
No, I have not tried in any other environment because we can not find a situation where the problem always occurs. In other words, I can not duplicate the problem "EVERY TIME" however, when a user encounters the problem it occurs all the time until they do one of our "work arounds" which is to log off SAP or to put a "degug stop" in the program.

Business Rules Do Not Execute When Saving a Form

When saving a form the attached business rules are not executing. Sometimes we are unable to validate business rules via AAS. When this happens we do a security refresh from Planning to Essbase and Essbase to Shared Services. At other times, we bounce planning and even Essbase and this seems to fix the problem. Today we have tried every combination (bounce planning, Essbase, AAS) and we are able to at least validate biz rules in AAS but we (i.e., users) are uanble to execute the biz rule when they save via the planning form. There are no issues running the biz rules when saving the form using an administration account. Can someone explain what's going on or provide direction as to why this problem happens and how to fix this issue?

Well is your version 9.3.0.1? If yes then you have my sympathies :). We too have this version and face similar problems with Business Rules. Usually things come back to normal after following the steps mentioned above. However what I would want to know is the following:
1) From where are you running the Business rules? I am asking this because if you are trying to run from Smartview then I would suggest you look at the time it takes for the Business Rules to execute. If it excedes the timeout settings then it will exit out. However the BR might still be running in the back ground. This you can confirm by looking at the data.
2) Have you checked if you have installed all the patches?

LT09 - Transfer Order User Exit is not getting trigerred though its active

I am trying to assign the enhancement : MWMTO001
( Enhancements for end of transfer order generation )
which contains the user exit component : EXIT_SAPLL03T_001
I have created a project in CMOD and assigned the enhancement.
When I execute the TCode LT09 for transfer order, I noticed that this exit is not getting trigerred ...
I need to call a smartform whenever we save the data in the T-code LT09.
Am i using a wrong Exit ? Please help me to find out why this exit is not getting triggered though its activated ....

According to 1st scenario prgm is activated & also activated enhancement in CMOD.
According to 2nd scenario, can u suggest how to find out the correct exit...
Actually I written a print prgm in include of EXIT_SAPLL03T_001 & designed SMARTFORM for that...
if I do process thru LT09 transaction & save that SMARTFORM should be triggered which is not happening...I put break points & tried but the exit is not triggering.
pls suggest how to find out the correct exit of LT09 .
