Exiting from app pressing enter from keyboard

Question

hi
i have this app where i use a class that extends FocusTraversalPolicy in order to have tabbed focus; so far so good, but what i want now is to implement what i said earlier: how to have the app closed getting the focus on my exit button but instead of clicking it just pressing enter?

i read it and tried (inside the constructor)
                KeyStroke enterKeyStroke = KeyStroke.getKeyStroke(KeyEvent.VK_ENTER, 0, false);
                Action sair = new AbstractAction()
                    public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
                        setVisible( false );
                getRootPane().getInputMap(JComponent.WHEN_IN_FOCUSED_WINDOW).put(enterKeyStroke, "Sair");
                getRootPane().getActionMap().put("Sair", sair);and works (with diferent LaF)
But that's not exactly what i intended, because if i press enter, the app exits (that's ok so far) but what i wanted was that the enter press would perform the action of each button.
In another words:
imagine i've a clear , a save and an exit button.
Where the focus is i want the enter key press to perform the respective action: cancel, save or exit.
In my actual case, independent of the position of focus, if i press enter the app exits.
I also tried this code here:
void cmdSair_actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {but without success
