QUERY="WHERE \"$COID\" = '4141A11DB1335811' "
I'm sure problem is in QUERY sintax; can you help me to solve sintax bug ?
thanks for all

Hi,
FILE=/tmp/fb.datIt should FILE=/tmp/fb.dmp
And iam sure about QUERY="WHERE \"$COID\" = '4141A11DB1335811' " syntax.

    Hi,
    There is another tool: data pump that can be used for that too:
    1. export data using data pump to directory on machine where Oracle is installed. For this you can use dbms_datapump package. see sample: http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/10g/OracleDataPump10g.php
    2.
    a. if your web server is on the same machine, you can just read this file in PHP. You can use file, or get_file_contents in PHP
    b. if web browser is on another machine you can use BFILE to access created file in PL/SQL and read it from PHP.

  • Data pump export full RAC database  in window single DB by network_link

    Hi Experts,
    I have a window 32 bit 10.2 database.
    I try to export a full rac database (350G some version with window DB) in window single database by dblink.
    exp syntax as
    exdpd salemanager/********@sale FULL=y DIRECTORY=dataload NETWORK_LINK=sale.net DUMPFILE=sale20100203.dmp LOGFILE=salelog20100203.log
    I created a dblink with fixed instance3. It was working for two day and display message as
    ORA-31693: Table data object "SALE_AUDIT"."AU_ITEM_IN" failed to load/unload and is being skipped due to error:
    ORA-29913: error in executing ODCIEXTTABLEPOPULATE callout
    ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number with name "" too small
    ORA-02063: preceding line from sale.netL
    I stoped export and checked window target alert log.
    I saw some message as
    kupprdp: master process DM00 started with pid=16, OS id=4444
    to execute - SYS.KUPM$MCP.MAIN('SYS_EXPORT_FULL_02', 'SYSTEM', 'KUPC$C_1_20100202235235', 'KUPC$S_1_20100202235235', 0);
    Tue Feb 02 23:56:12 2010
    The value (30) of MAXTRANS parameter ignored.
    kupprdp: master process DM00 started with pid=17, OS id=4024
    to execute - SYS.KUPM$MCP.MAIN('SYS_EXPORT_FULL_01', 'SALE', 'KUPC$C_1_20100202235612', 'KUPC$S_1_20100202235612', 0);
    kupprdp: worker process DW01 started with worker id=1, pid=18, OS id=2188
    to execute - SYS.KUPW$WORKER.MAIN('SYS_EXPORT_FULL_01', 'SALE');
    In RAC instance alert.log. I saw message as
    SELECT /*+ NO_PARALLEL ("KU$") */ "ID","RAW_DATA","TRANSM_ID","RECEIVED_UTC_DATE ","RECEIVED_FROM","ACTION","ORAUSER",
    "ORADATE" FROM RELATIONAL("SALE_AUDIT"."A U_ITEM_IN") "KU$"
    How to fixed this error?
    add more undotbs space in RAC instance 3 or window database?
    Thanbks

    I usually increate undo space. Is your undo retention set smaller than the time it takes to run the job? If it is, I would think you would need to do that. If not, then I would think it would be the space. You were in the process of exporting data when the job failed which is what I would have expected. Basically, DataPump want to export each table consistent to itself. Let's say that one of your tables is partitioned and it has a large partition and a smaller partition. DataPump attempts to export the larger partiitons first and it remembers the scn for that partition. When the smaller partitions are exported, it will use the scn to get the data from that partition as it would have looked like if it exported the data when the first partiiton was used. If you don't have partitioned tables, then do you know if some of the tables in the export job (I know it's full so that includes just about all of them) are having data added to them or removed from them? I can't think of anything else that would need undo while exporting data.

  • HFM User defined1,User Defined2,User Defined 3

    Hi Peers,
    Please explain me clearly the importance of User defined1,2,3 in HFM and as well as rules.We find this attribute every where. Where to start? how to use? When to use? what is the Answer we have to explain as soon as we pose this Question

    They are UserDefined attributes . Can be used to Convert at special Exchange Rates also other possible use can be to transfer or move data from account to the specified account in User Defined Attribute.
    Eg :
    1) Transfer from 1 account to another
    Values of Account xyz need to flow to account pqr , in that case i can specify pqr in "Userdefined1" attribute and while writing rules check if userdefined1 has any values by hs.Account.UD1("xyz") . This will ideally retrieve pqr . And by simple Hs.exp syntax we can move the values from xyz to pqr . This the above case we need not load the data multiple times by data load . Automation can be done .
    2) Historical Rate translation:
    Similarly we can translate as special Exchange rate by specifiying Special Exchange rate account in any of the Userdefined Attribute . Share capital generally goes at special or historical rate . Hence translation can be achieved at historical rate be using User defined attributes .
    Hope it clarifies your doubt on userdefined attributes and its uses .

  • Syntax Error while running step 34 (35) after unicode conversion

    Hello,
    We are converting our test system to Unicode to find out how to do it
    in our production system. We are at step 34/35 (Starting RFC job's) in
    the database installation so we are almost done but we have encounted a
    problem that we can't find a solution to. The error log in Sapinst give this
    information:
    ERROR      2008-11-09 11:19:19 [iaxxrfcimp.cpp:1103]           CAbRfcImpl::performFunctionCall FRF-00025  Unable to call function.
    Error message: ?`>?/?????????>??????/_???&<?(????????????????????????????????????????????????? .
    At the same time we can read the following text in dev_w1 (and dev_w0 and so on):
    A  *** ERROR => Syntax error in program SAPLBTCH                                 [abgen.c      1388]
    A  *** ERROR => > Include LBTCHF39                                 line 173 [abgen.c      1390]

    The error don't always look the same, here is another example:
    A  *** ERROR => Syntax error in program SAPLSALC                                 [abgen.c      1388]
    A  *** ERROR => > Include LSALCU54                                 line 55 [abgen.c      1390]

    A  *** ERROR => > âu2018MTMCNAMEâu2018MTNUMRANGEâu2018MTUIDâu2018". [abgen.c 1395]
    The common thing is Syntax error. If we try to log in to the system using SAP Gui we get this message: "Syntax error in program SAPMS380".
    In the file dev_disp we can read a lot of these:
    Tue Nov 11 14:06:32 2008

    But we should have enough WP since noone has loggen on to the system.

  • How to find a dump file is taken using norma exp or expdp

    Hi All,
    How to find out whether a dump file is taken using the conventional exp or using the expdp utility?
    OS: HPUX
    DB: 10.2.0.4

    Hi ,
    I go with Helios's reply. We cannot just predict if it was taken my expdp or exp.
    Since your DB version is 10 , both could be possible.
    The simplest way would be : just run the imp , if it throws error , then its created through expdp.
    because dump from expdp cannot be used with imp and vice versa. So that could help you find..
    else , try to get the syntax by which the dump was created.
    If you have any doubts , wait for experts to reply.

  • Using HS.Exp function to write data to a Consolidated Account

    Hi,
    Just wanted to know whether i can use the HS.Exp function to write data to a consolidated account?
    Thanks

    Hi Mau,
    In order to write data to a consolidated account, you can use HS.Exp function in rules which puts data into a combination of Account, ICP, and Custom1...4 members. The syntax is: HS.Exp "DestPOV = Expression"
    You might find useful the HS.Con function which puts data into the [Proportion] and [Elimination] Value dimension members and can also be used in Consolidation rules. The syntax is: Call HS.Con ("V#[Elimination]",-1*dPCon,"")

    LuciaHello,
    I had the same problem. It was related to the shell script interpreter being used: it is really a bash script asking to be interpreted as sh. For the impatient, the solution was to change the first line of the script orarun.sh to read as:
    #!/bin/bash
    Explanation:
    1. The script runfixup.sh calls orarun.sh. The latter is the one that fails starting at line 845.
    2. The script is really a bash script as can be seen from the if syntax used. For example at line 191 we see the double equall sign ==:
    if [ "`echo $SET_KERNEL_PARAMETERS | tr A-Z a-z`" == "true" ]
    3. The bash man page says:
    string1 == string2
    string1 = string2
    True if the strings are equal. = should be used with the test command for POSIX conformance.
    string1 != string2
    True if the strings are not equal.
    (End of man page excerpt)
    Notice in particular that for a bash script to be POSIX it should avoid the == and just use =
    4. orarun.sh has on its first line #!/bin/sh. On my Ubuntu system, sh is a softlink to dash and the dash man page says:
    s1 = s2 True if the strings s1 and s2 are identical.
    s1 != s2 True if the strings s1 and s2 are not identical.
    5. So this script script uses bash syntax but is interpreted by dash. It is possible that this worked fine for the Oracle developer if on their system sh was softlinked to bash (which is often the case). Apparently, one should then be very careful to not use idioms that are not POSIX compliant.
    6. Another solution is to change the /bin/sh softlink from dash to bash. Personally, I was less comfortable doing this (the possible repercussions were wider than the proposed solution above).
    After making the change, the script ran perfectly. I think the best solution is for Oracle to update the script to be POSIX compliant or to identify itself as bash.
    Hope that helped,
    Mark Gaber

  • Exp problem in Oracle 10gR2

    Hi,
    I'm having issues when I try to use exp utility to dump the database as a normal.
    Here is the error:
    Message 206 not found; No message file for product=RDBMS, facility=EXP: Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production on Wed Feb 22 14:54:08 2006

    Export terminated unsuccessfully
    EXP-00000: Message 0 not found; No message file for product=RDBMS, facility=EXP
    The ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID are correctly configured. What I really want is a normal user with oracle user/pass to be able to backup the database instead of root or oracle user (this is on a Linux system).
    Thanks,
    Nitin

    Hi Nitin,
    First things first...
    Do the following things...
    At command prompt
    1. echo $ORACLE_HOME (Make sure you are pointing to correct oracle home)
    2. echo $ORACLE_SID (Make sure you are exporing correct database).
    3. isuue exp help=y (will give you synatx , if you think its wrong syntax)
    and also for your info..
    There is new tool for export and import in 10g , they are expdp and impdp (They call it as data pump and its faster than exp and imp tools).

  • Oracle 10g exp error with query parameter

    Hi all,
    I am trying to perform an export but getting this error when using the query parameter. I think it's a syntax problem but not sure where.

    This is why I love this forum so much.
    I've probably done thousands of exports and never used the query parameter.
    Here's something that will help you. Please read and note the requirement to escape, or protect, special characters and such.

  • Using || and && within the same Powerpivot Calculate syntax

    hi. i'm trying to isolate two groups of users. the 1st is a group who has suffered one of 3 "negative" experiences, without regarding whether or not they also had "positive" ones - i.e., they are the users from the entire population,
    who encountered one of 3 negative statuses in their user lifetimes.
    the 2nd is based on this group, but users who have ONLY encountered these bad experiences, and never any good experience. for some reason, when i use && to "trim down" the positive statuses from the user group, i end up with the same size
    groups, i.e. the following two codes yield the same powerpivot measure result:
    =CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(CDRs[USERID]),
    CDRs[disposition] = "negative exp 1" ||
    CDRs[disposition] = "negative exp 2"||
    CDRs[disposition] = "negative exp 3")
    =CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(CDRs[USERID]),
    CDRs[disposition] = "negative exp 1" ||
    CDRs[disposition] = "negative exp 2"||
    CDRs[disposition] = "negative exp 3"&&
    CDRs[disposition] <> "positive exp 1"&&
    CDRs[disposition] <> "positive exp 2"&&
    CDRs[disposition] <> "positive exp 3")
    i would love some help on this...
    thx!

    Hi Guy,
    A first stab could be...
    Users with Negative Feedback Only:=
    CALCULATE(
    DISTINCTCOUNT(CDRs[USERID]),
    CDRs[disposition] = "negative exp 1"
    || CDRs[disposition] = "negative exp 2"
    || CDRs[disposition] = "negative exp 3",
    FILTER(
    VALUES(CDRs[USERID]),
    CALCULATE(
    COUNTROWS(VALUES(CDRs[USERID])),
    CDRs[disposition] = "positive exp 1"
    || CDRs[disposition] = "positive exp 2"
    || CDRs[disposition] = "positive exp 3"
    ) = 0
    This solution can almost definitely be re-written more optimally to avoid using a FILTER but should do what you're asking. Let me know if it works as expected and performs acceptably over your data set. The FILTER and inner CALCULATE are just filtering
    out users that have at least one row with positive feedback. I've assumed that this is for a Calculated Field and the syntax is for defining one within the Calculation Area beneath the table in the Power Pivot window.

  • Exp/Imp In Oracle 10g client

    Hi All,
    I want to take one schema export from Oracle 10g Client. I am in new Oracle 10g.
    In oracle 9i, we can using exp/imp command for Export and Import from Client itself.
    I heard about in Oracle 10g, we can use Expdb/Impdb in Server only. Is there any possibility to take exp/imp in Client also.
    Pls help me...
    Cheers,
    Moorthy.GS

    To add up to expdb from oracle client
    NETWORK_LINK
    Default: none
    Purpose
    Enables an export from a (source) database identified by a valid database link. The data from the source database instance is written to a dump file set on the connected database instance.
    Syntax and Description
    NETWORK_LINK=source_database_link
    The NETWORK_LINK parameter initiates an export using a database link. This means that the system to which the expdp client is connected contacts the source database referenced by the source_database_link, retrieves data from it, and writes the data to a dump file set back on the connected system.
    The source_database_link provided must be the name of a database link to an available database. If the database on that instance does not already have a database link, you or your DBA must create one. For more information about the CREATE DATABASE LINK statement, see Oracle Database SQL Reference.
    If the source database is read-only, then the user on the source database must have a locally managed tablespace assigned as the default temporary tablespace. Otherwise, the job will fail. For further details about this, see the information about creating locally managed temporary tablespaces in the Oracle Database Administrator's Guide.
    Restrictions
    When the NETWORK_LINK parameter is used in conjunction with the TABLES parameter, only whole tables can be exported (not partitions of tables).
    The only types of database links supported by Data Pump Export are: public, fixed-user, and connected-user. Current-user database links are not supported.
    Example
    The following is an example of using the NETWORK_LINK parameter. The source_database_link would be replaced with the name of a valid database link that must already exist.
    expdp hr/hr DIRECTORY=dpump_dir1 NETWORK_LINK=source_database_linkDUMPFILE=network_export.dmp LOGFILE=network_export.log

    is posible have a aritmethic exp in jpa in the order by?
    thanks

    Hi,
    When you use a local variable in a cursor, it's as if you had hard-coded a literal in its place, so you can't use a variable for a column name.
    If you know all the possible values of p_orderby, you can do something like this:
    ORDER BY  TRIM ( CASE  p_orderby
                   WHEN  'DESC'     THEN  plano.desc
                   WHEN  'VALUE'     THEN  plano.value
               END
                ) ASC;If you don't know all the possible values, you could use dynamic SQL.
    By the way,
    TRIM (x)returns the same results as
    LTRIM ( RTRIM (x))
