Export all a schema (user)?
I need to export all my schema to import it after install release 10.2 (now working with 10.1). In the Utilities manual I see "Import/Export Datapump" and "Original Import/Export", which one of them I have to use to export my schema (user)?
Thanks in advance.

Exporting all ACTIVE AD users only
Like the title insinuates, I'm looking for a method of exporting my AD users. However, i have the ability to do this already, but i'm looking for a method of exporting only the active users. There are still hundreds of disabled users in the OU's that contain
active users and therefore separating these would be painful. Is there a flag/switch that i can use to only see the users who are currently active? I would like to export these to CSVAD Module
Get-ADUser -LDAPFilter "(!userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2)" |
Select SamAccountName, Name , Enabled | Export-CSv C:\Temp\ActiveADUsers.csv -NoTypeInformation -Encoding UTF8
On Specific OU
Get-ADUser -Searhbase 'OU=xx,dc=xx,dc=xx' -LDAPFilter "(!userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2)" |
Select SamAccountName, Name , Enabled | Export-CSv C:\Temp\ActiveADUsers.csv -NoTypeInformation -Encoding UTF8

Export all user's schema , without One
Dear Friends ,
I am running Oracle 10g in my production server . Here I have near about 20 user/schema . Now I want to export data from 19 user without 1 user , i.e., I just take export 19 users only . Is it possible to do ? Is there any script to do this ?Hi,
>>Is it possible to do
Yes it is. If you want to use a old export version you must use the OWNER clause.
exp system/password owner=user1,user2,user3,user4,user5... file=test.dmpNow, as you are using Oracle 10g, you can use the SCHEMAS clause in the new expdp (Datapump). So, I advise you to take a look either at [url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14215/dp_overview.htm#i1009203]Overview of Oracle Data Pump or [url http://www.orafaq.com/wiki/Datapump]Datapump Faq

Export / import tablespace with all objects (datas, users, roles)
Hi, i have a problem or question to the topic export / import tablespace.
On the one hand, i have a database 10g (A) and on the other hand, a database 11g (B).
On A there is a tablespace called PRO.
Furthermore 3 Users:
PRO_Main - contains the datas - Tablespace PRO
PRO_Users1 with a role PRO_UROLE - Tablespace PRO
PRO_Users2 with a role PRO_UROLE - Tablespace PRO
Now, i want to transfer the whole tablespace PRO (included users PRO_MAIN, PRO_USER1, PRO_User2 and the role PRO_UROLE) from A to B.
On B, I 've created the user PRO_Main and the tablespace PRO.
On A , i execute following statement:
expdp PRO_Main/XXX TABLESPACES=PRO DIRECTORY=backup_datapump DUMPFILE=TSpro.dmp LOGFILE=TSpro.log
On B:
impdp PRO_Main/XXX TABLESPACES=PRO DIRECTORY=backup_datapump DUMPFILE=TSpro.dmp LOGFILE=TSpro.log
Result:
The User PRO_Main was imported with all the datas.
But i 'm missing PRO_USER1, PRO_User2 and the role PRO_UROLE...
I assume, i 've used wrong parameters in my expd and / or impdp.
It would be nice, if anybody can give me a hint.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
FrankWhen you do a TABLESPACE mode export by specifying just the tablespaces, then all that gets exported are the tables and their dependent objects. The users, roles, and the tablespace definitions themselves don't get exported.
When you do a SCHEMA mode export by specifying the schemas, you will get the schema definitions (if the schema running the export is privied) and all of the objects that the schema owns. The schema does not own roles or tablespace definitions.
In your case, you want to move
1. schemas - which you already created 1 on your target database
2. roles
3. everything in the tablespaces owned by multiple schemas.
There is no 1 export/import command that will do this. This is how i would do this:
1 - move the schema definitions
a. you can either create these manually or
b1. expdp schemas=<your list of schemas> include=user
b2 impdp the results from b1.
2. move the roles
expdp full=y include=role ...
remember, this will include all roles. If you want to limit what gets exported, then use:
include=role:"in ('ROLE1', 'ROLE2', ETC.)
impdo the roles just exported
3. move the user information
a. If you want to move all of the schema's objects like functions, packages, etc, then you need to use a schema mode
export
expdp user/password schemas=a,b,c ...
b. If you want to move only the objects in those tablespaces, then use the tablespace export
expdp user/password tablespaces=tbs1, tbs2, ...
c. import the dumpfile generated in step 3
impdp user/password ...
Hope this helps.

Export/Import with apps user or EUL schema owner ?
Hi,
I am working with a migration plan to move Discoverer 9 to Discoverer 10.
It is an apps mode EUL, where business areas and workbooks have been granted to Apps Users & Responsibilities.
Customer has only maintained the EUL with the database user of the EUL owner.
What is recommended for exporting/importing the EUL from 9 to 10.
To connect to Administrator as the EUL owner, or to connect as an apps user ( SYSADMIN ? )
Will all the grants to apps users/responsibilities work when importing as schema owner ?
I tried to create a entire EUL export file connected as EUL owner, and for the workbooks the export log contained :
1234#.Workbook name1
2345#.Workbook name 2
1234 is the user_id for the workbook owner ( All workbooks have been created by an apps user )
Will the import process manage to convert this user_id, and set the correct owner for the imported workbooks ?
( I will use the option Only take ownership if original owner not found )
I am not sure, but I think I have seen the following syntax in other projects when exporting an apps mode EUL
SYSADMIN.Workbook name 1
SYSADMIN.Workbook name 2>
What is recommended for exporting/importing the EUL from 9 to 10.
To connect to Administrator as the EUL owner, or to connect as an apps user ( SYSADMIN ? )
Will all the grants to apps users/responsibilities work when importing as schema owner ?
Hi,
The best that i know is that you should export using the DB user so that you will not have problem with workbooks or BA that you are not granted for (or any other grants or privileges).
The import should be done using the APPS user (the super user you use).
That way if you import a workbook that the owner will not be found then you will get the ownership and you can after migration deal with it.
If you'll do that with the DB (EUL owner) user after migration you will not have access to those workbooks.
Any way about the workbooks i suggest you'll save them as DIS files for cases that the import of the workbooks or the owner association for them fail. -
Export all tables in schema using exp utility
I need to export all the tables in a schema based on a where clause, how can I do this without having to identify all the tables in the tables= parameter?
You can get all the tables by doing a user-level export, i.e.
exp scott/tiger@TNS_name owner=scottwill export all Scott's tables. If you need to export only some of the tables owned by a particular user, you're stuck giving an explicit list until 10g.

Unable to see/Export All existing users of MSAD-Shares Services
Hi Dear all !
Please help me to resolve an issue.
I have configures shared services in MS Active directory and it users.
but problem is that i m unable to see all users in User list in shared services under active directory.while i click n "show all" option its showing only 4 pages of records.
but if i m searching a user which is not displaying in those pages , i got that user..
Also while exporting the user list i have only users which are displaying in user list (in 4 pages)..not all users details are exported.
Please, anybody let me know the solution !!
Thank you.
vivekIf you really want to export all users from MSAD, then you should probably be looking into MSAD/LDAP utilities for that purpose. If what you really mean is that you want to export all user and group assignments that you've set up in Shared Services, then take a look at the Lifecycle Management or CSSExport utilities.

Export all tables' name under user by informatica
Hi,
I have a requirement about informatica mapping,
we want to user one mapping to export all tables' name under user,
like sql :
SELECT t.OWNER || '.' || t.TABLE_NAME ||
FROM all_tables t
WHERE t.OWNER = 'BIEBS';
How to realize it?
Thank you!Get the table all_table in source analyzer save it. While building the map choose this as ur source, modify source qualifier as select table_name,table_name from all_tables where table_name='BIEBS'.
Once u have this, use an expression transformation to build ur expression and load it into a flat file.
Please mark this answered or helpful if it solves your purpose.

Export all user security profiles at once
Is there a way to export all of the e-sourcing user profiles at once?
Thanks for your help,
JerryYou posted here with Firefox 9.0.1, is that the version you are using on that test PC? <br />If so, update to Firefox 10.0.1 and see the new ''(as of 10.0)'' first start after a program update routine. Mozilla changed the add-on compatibility check that kicks in when the Firefox version number has changed. It's probably going to make your issue worse, time wise, after a Firefox program update.
As far as updating all the Profiles at the same time, '''LastVersion''' data is kept in the '''compatibility.ini''' file in each Profile - ''LastVersion=10.0.1_20120208060813/20120208060813'' - Firefox checks that file each time the Profile is used. When the version number currently being launched doesn't match the saved pref, it triggers the "updated" routine (but it works for the version used being older or newer than the pref).
The only thing I can think of is to run a '''batch''' file to update the '''LastVersion''' value change in all the Profiles that weren't used for receiving the Firefox update, to match the new LastVersion. -

I'm using SYSTEM user but
HDBSTUDIO continues on triggering this error when I try to export the catalog:
SAP DBTech JDBC: [258]: insufficient privilege: Can't export objects in schema DARTEL_TRANSPORTES. Can't export procedure DARTEL_TRANSPORTES.PAL_TRIPLE_SMOOTH_WRAPPER. user has no privilege on the underlying objects
When trying to grant the SYSTEM user to that particular object I get a new error : Could not modify user 'SYSTEM'. Several issues occurred
Have anyone have struggled with this error before, any help will be highly appreciated
Kind Regardsrev 69 too
tomorrow I will have the webex and let you know
Something happenned after my customer change the suse's server IP, I had to perform a re-installation of SAP Business One only
We were supposed to install using the hostname but no one of the installers let me use the hostname
so it Kind of forced me to use the IP.
After asking Support about that one of the specialists told me that he prefers to use IP instead of the hostname. So I used IP.
Maybe this changed something I cannot detect yet. but tomorrow we'll see.

EXP: Export all tables for one user except the contents of one table
I need to export all tables (> 100 Tables) of an user except the contents of one table. Is there a possibility to call the EXP command and exclude the one table ??
Thanks in advance .-)
(Oracle11G)
Edited by: gromit on Feb 14, 2011 4:41 AMIt is not possible to perform it from a client. Is this correct? The datapump task itself can be started from a client, but - you are right - datapump is server-based. Especially that refers to the dumpfile location, which has to be defined as DIRECTORY on the server:

User export does not export all users....
Hi all,
EP60 SP2 P4 HF8. Datasource is Database.
I'm exporting all users via the Export/Import iview in the User Administration role. However, the export file only shows part of all the users, not all. SAP Note 801393 descibes this problem exactly, but the proposed solution does not work either.
Any ideas?
Kind regards
Marcel RabeHi,
I've got the same issue.
When using the export function from the portal, the user list is not complete.
The stream seems to be cut off when too many users need to be exported(Length/size issue)?
Did someone find a solution?
Thx,
Regards,
Steve Rymenants
