Export multiple forms to xml/excel - field headings are missing

I have created a dynamic flow multiple page form in Livecycle. When I first tested the form I would export -> multiple forms to a spreadsheet -> an xml file that I would then open in excel. This worked great and the field headings showed at the top.
I did some edits to my form and now when I run the export to xml and then open in excel, the field headings are gone. What controls this variable, does anyone know how I can correct this?

The heading are in the table pt_fcat - you don't seem to be passing that in form....

which I guessing in in one of the includes?
Saying that the extract pof code does not show where you are calling form it_out_alv_fieldcat_before ...which populates the headings...

Column headings are missing in the output for ALV?

i have coded a small report in ALV mode. i am getting the data but the column headings are missing.
iam not getting the column headings in the output. it is coming as blank. Could you all please help me out in this?

Export PDF form to MS Excel. Losing field contents

Hi there,
I'm using Adobe Acrobat X Pro.
I'm trying to export a PDF form into MS excel for further manipulation, but it seems that Acrobat is unable to export everything into Excel.
Here what I have done:
"File"> "Save as">"spreadsheet">"MS excel workbook". then I will save onto desktop.
when I open it up in MS excel, i only see the form fields but not the content.
Can anyone help? Is this a acrobat issue or excel issue?

Try flattening the form before exporting to Excel. You can do this via PDF Optimizer, Preflight, the following JavaScript that you execute in the interactive JavaScript console (Ctrl+J):
flattenPages();

PDF filled in form for analysis - download to Excel field titles are corrupted

I am having an issue with the download to Excel as well as the tracker capabilities in Tracker. The field names/titles that I have on my PDF form show up with strange characters as the titles. My form question is: Is your company currently a contractor/supplier to XYZ? The field in the Tracker and thus Excel down load is: Is_your_company_abRbCq3ookWNM8Au0LhpFQ. How can I get the full field as is show on the PDF form to appear in the Tracker and then Excel Download. I am using PDF forms distributed through e-mail. Form was created in Form Central. I am using Acrobat XI version 11.0.03.

Why create a separate popup page to download the data? You can place the content in the ICM cache and load it via a very small Iframe in your page. I think this will acomplish the same thing you are wanting to do.
The following weblog has the code to acomplish this. It does it for XML, Excel, and HTML downloads.

Layout issue in export multiple queries to single excel

Hi ,
While exporting more than one queries on web template to single excel (with help of HowToWebPrinting document ), i am facing layout problems.
EX. if my web template has 4 queries in below format
A B
C D
where A,B,C,D are different queries
on web printing to single excel, i get all queries in excel but they are in form
A
B
C
D
i.e with distorted layout. Is there a way out to have the exported EXCEL in same layout as that of my report
Any ideas would be appreciated in this regard.

But in my system, i have z_print_help_service & not z_print_service. Is it something that is missing.
To add to it, i have one more issue.
I have a strange scenario.
In some webtemplates, when i do export , my all data is coming.
In some alternate columns are coming on export in one row
& other row its fine, while on web report all columns are existing .
Has anybody faced missing data on export .
Unless this problem gets resolved, we can't be sure of what is being produced & won't be able to implement. Below are lines i am using

Export PDF Form to XML through VBScript

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to automate the export of an Adobe PDF Form to XML, either using the Adobe SDK/AcroExch.App or the PDF Test Toolkit.
I'm wanting to perform this action via a QuickTest Pro Script and thought there might be a funciton already written to perform this action, rather than having to automate the selection of Document>>Forms>>Export Data... from the Adobe Reader Menu and the Export Dialog.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Are you trying to edit the Adobe Test Toolkit ? If yes, I think it’s not easy to edit Adobe Test Toolkit. If you want to export PDF file to Microsoft XML file and Adobe is not working with you, than I will recommend you to try Classic PDF Editor which can easily export PDF files to Microsoft XML files. Classic PDF Editor also done many other type of file conversation like PDF to Doc, XML, PPT etc
If Classic PDF Editor solve your problem, must come back share your important views about this software.

Merging multiple forms and having shared fields

I am designing multiple forms for a client for application purposes. There are about 40 forms in all. Client is designing a online helper that will help users download only the forms they need for their application. So once that is decided, then we are giving them a download link for required forms only. In the end client will print the forms and submit them manually. (I know it could be done better, but not yet) There will be about 16-17 different combinations of forms.
Thing is, many of these forms have repetitive fields (name, address, phone, email, etc), so we would REALLY like to have it so that once filled out, those fields could quickly populate all the rest of the remaining forms. (does that make sense?)
I have had a couple ideas on how to accomplish this
1) Magic
2) Combined all required forms into one large PDF. Make the 16-17 possible combinations and then just set them all up manually.
Problem is that if Form 6 changes, it may change in 10 different packages. I don't want to do that manually every time there is a change
3) Somehow use Adobe Livecycle to piar the fields up in the different docs, and have them all linked. (think that is impossible, hense #1)
4) Your suggestion?

The templates/PDFs designed in LC are primarily can not talk to each other. But we can make them pull and save the information stored in Database through LC workflow. Which will give them ability to transfer data between using SOAP (we can activate these SOAP transfers on certain events or on user actions). But that involves User acknowledging each time the data transfer activated (of-course there is an option to remember the user action and never ask the user but it is controlled by user). Things get complicated once you start in this direction. However we use this technique in our internal environment.

Export the Form Data to Excel File using FILE EXPORT

I want to export printers page to some excel file using FILE > EXPORT option.
I login into System Administrator Responsibility > printers > register...
I want to export this printers data to flat file(EXCEL File) using FILE > EXPORT in the form...
The movement I click FILE > EXPORT...a flash screen appears and disapperas...nothing will be exported...
What Might be the problem...

My FND_LOBS_CTX index is fine..it is valid and

- Check the security level of the "Trusted sites" zone, make sure it is set to "Low"
- Make sure you do not have a yellow warning bar
- Make sure you are not accessing the application through dev60cgi/f60cgi
- Verify that you have sufficient space in the tablespace (Check init<SID>.ora for any errors)
- Check the export on some other modules to determine whether the issue is across all Apps or with a specific module only

Problem exporting to PDF from ID CS6. Objects are missing in PDF.

I created a large format poster (24x36 inches) in ID CS6 to be printed. My printer requires PDF files to print from. My problem is that when I export my ID file to PDF, objects are missing. For example, in this file, the company logo in the upper left corner of the poster is incomplete (missing the orange color fill with white text in orange circle.) This object was originally created in AI CS6 then imported to the ID document.
I am pulling my hair out trying to fix this and have not been able to find like issues online. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!!!!

How do I export the pdf data from multiple forms to an excel spreadsheet?

No, you can't change the way this built-in command works. You can either process it later on in Excel, or you would need to use a custom-made script and an Action to collect the data in the format you want in Acrobat and then export it.

I recently purchased a Macbook Pro w/Snow Leopard. Subsequently I installed Microsoft Office v.X. I am getting some unexpected results in Excel and Word. For Excel the row and column headings are missing and I cannot print. Work won't print.

I guess the basic question is ... will Microsoft Office v.X work correctly with MAC OS X 10.6.8?

Since MS stopped supporting Office X a couple of years before SL's release, my guess is no.

Notepad, Word to go, Excell to go are missing.

Had a major fault 3 weeks ago whilst in portugal. App error 523 came on a WSOD. I re-installed the OS using a portuguese pc (not easy as my portuguese is, well, err,.... zip!) So i went from 4.7 to V5. Home screen and icons were very slightly different and all seemed well. Then i find that the applications that came with my old Os were missing. Notepad, word to go, excel to go and similar. In the apps folder that used to store them, all i have now is Files, video recorder, Voice recorder, Saved messages and compose.
Where have they gone?
BB support is no use and the missing "Contact us" from their website means that i cant, err... contact them!

I have now restored my 49 memos and.... get this... Backed up my whole berry!!! I shall now do this on a weekly basis. You try finding the 300 odd contacts i lost Still got the other 300 ish. Makes me sound popular.... but its all work **bleep** haha.
