Export Problem ? Slices issue? Rollovers stopped working

Hi, I'm new to prototyping in FW and running into a bit of a problem. My prototype was designed and working well in FW, I then went into make all the final "clean up" changes so it exported well. Organized loose ends and sliced up everything, it seems as soon as I finished all that none of my icons were working correctly. I had simple rollover on some and image swap on others. Now everything previews completely static and I don't know what the deal is? I've messed with it enough and now SOME pages are behaving correctly and some are not, but the menu is shared from the same index page anyway so it makes no sense to me? Also on the pages that are working "kind of" I've fixed how they behave probably 50 times, save and it seems like at some point it reverts back to what it was doing previously? SO frustrating. The weird thing is that some of these issues I'm having seem rather random so it's pretty hard for me to figure out what the problem is. Does my lack of function have anything to do with my slices/hotspots everywhere? My design is kind of round so they do over lap in spots? I would appreciate any help - I want to throw the thing out the window!!

ok, so I've fixed a bunch of the things I'd fixed before, but it seems to be good for now. I saved a normal copy and a backup copy so hopefully when I close the program at least one of them will be intact! lol It looks like the issue with the rollover was slices ontop of slices. I changed my images on the nav bar to hotspots and then my buttons (which are sliced, obviously) on top seemed to be functioning correctly now. So I guess I got it figured out ~

I can't make or take phone calls, but i can message and use data. Has this happened to anyone else? I've gone through three Samsung Galaxy S5's in the past three days, two of which have this problem and one just stopped working all together.

I've had new sim cards put in, ive done hard resets on the phone, i've rebooted the phone, done battery pulls, and tech support has reset the signal to my phone. Nothing has worked. (I just "upgraded" <- lol.... and my old phone IS turned off.)

Im in 79707. So to recap my whole case: I upgraded my device using the verizon wireless website. I received my phone and switched my old SIM card from my Droid Razr Maxx HD into the new Galaxy S5. Everything worked fine until the next morning (May 31st) when I woke up and the phone wouldn't turn on. I took the phone to the local Verizon store and they were also unable to turn it on. They issued me a new Galaxy S5 (referred to as phone 2) and switched my SIM card into that one.
With PHONE 2 i was able to make calls and receive calls, along with text and data for approximately four hours. After that, i was unable to use the phone function of the device, but text and data were still functioning. I took PHONE 2 back to the Verizon store where they attempted to hard reset the phone twice, they also installed two new SIM cards at the store. After this they would get the same error, which is the phone just reading "Dialing..." after attempting to make a call. The Verizon associate declared the phone "DOA" and issued me another Galaxy S5 (referred to as PHONE 3).
PHONE 3 worked well, with phone text and data featured intact from when I received it on the after noon of the 31st until approximately 2:30PM on June 1st. I contacted Verizon Tech Support via Gmail phone to attempt the correct the problem. They reset the connection, had me do a battery pull, had me close the "phone" application, and erase the data and catche, then restart the phone. All of which had no effect. My phone is still able to receive texts and use data (even with wifi off) it simply cannot make or take phone calls. all it says is "dialing..." when I attempt to make a call. When other phones call my device it rings once on their end and directs them to voicemail, PHONE 3 does not ring on my end.
I have made sure my old phone is completely powered down.

Thanks for your reply. I did get upgraded to 10. something. Not on that computer now. 11 is not supported on Vista

I have a problem "premiere cc has stopped working" and SpeedGrade too.

IPad Retina Problem: Wireless Internet Connection Stops Working All The Time

the wireless would all the sudden stop working. What happen is, I'd be going from one page to another and then BOOM. No more loading, the little circular "loading" icon never ending.
Also happens with iTunes trailers app, in general all the wifi.
What i've already tried:
Performing a full ipad restoration (as new restoration). I dont have issues with my ipod touch 5 or my galaxy sIII or my pc's, so i assume the ipad retina is faulty?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Okay, that rules out one possible set of causes for the Stackhash result. Unfortunately it still leaves the field pretty open ... they tend to be user-specific errors (affecting a single user account), but there's quite a few possibilities with that too.
I think the best thing would be to proceed in a general-principles fashion, using the following troubleshooting document as a framework:

Iphone 4S sound issue - sound stops working after a few minutes

The only additonal troubleshooting options after powering the iPhone off and on, an iPhone reset, and resetting network settings on the iPhone is restoring the iPhone with iTunes from the iPhone's backup and/or restoring with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup.
If no change after restoring as a new iPhone or not from the backup - the same when connected to any wi-fi network besides your own as well as not being able to maintain internet access when connected to your carrier's cellular network, the iPhone has a hardware problem.

Since the Maverick update, iPhoto 11 export of a slideshow has stopped working. Any suggestions?

Since the Maverick update, iPhoto 11 exporting of a slideshow no longer works. It did prior to the update. The more flexible drop down menu when selecting Export has been replaced by 3 choices; 480p, 720, and 1080p. Any suggestions?

This image shows the slideshows being saved to the iTunes library before the Maverick update. I had 3 decent size videos from the slideshows that played on Apple TV. None of the exports after Maverick made it to iTunes. They show up in the iPhoto slideshow folder as a file, but with nothing in them.
Hope this helps explain what I have done and the comparitves. Any suggestions?

MAJOR PROBLEM - Wireless Mice spontaneously stop working!

I have gone through three wireless mice now. The kind with USB recievers, I mean.
The first was a Kensington Slimblade, which stopped working back in March. It would not work on either of my family's iMacs, OSX or Boot Camp.
I had it sent back under warranty, thinking it was faulty. I recieved a new one and it worked fine until June.
Now I'm thinking "What a crappy manufacturer. I'll go elsewhere for products, thank you." So I buy a generic wireless mouse from Wal-Mart, hoping it will work.
It didn't. It just stopped working today. But here's the kicker: It broke down EXACTLY like the two Kensington mice. If it had stopped working any other way I would have thought "It's my fault for using a cheap, generic product." But no, it stopped working exactly how the ones from a BRAND NAME manufacturer did.
So it's not poor quality, and it's not the brand. And here's another kicker: The second Kensington mouse stopped working in Boot Camp (Windows XP). But the generic mouse stopped working in Mac OS X (Leopard)!
So. What the heck is going on? I'm this close to forgetting about ordinary wireless and using Bluetooth, but I'm not sure if that will work either. Is there any way I can fix this?

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

Plymouth Issue - Recently Stopped Working

I have had Plymouth installed for months now, and it has been working well. I followed the directions in the wiki, installed the open source video drivers, etc etc.
Recently, it no longer shows a boot splash screen when starting up, or even when i shut down. I have tried changing the splash image, uninstalling, reinstalling, reconfiguring etc. I dont know what was updated or changed to cause this... any help would be much appreciated.

Ok, a bit late in the game, but if you are still subscribed to this thread, I have the beginnings of a solution.
Firstly, my system, I am using EFI boot with refind, and the nvidia binary blob, so I need to use a framebuffer for plymouth. No problem I thought, refind sets native resolution and when it boots the kernel, an efifb is created, so no need for uvesafb.
Well, this didn't stop plymouth failing (well partially) as I was only briefly seeing the splash screen just before X and lightdm started.
So let's begin the troubleshooting:
# cp /usr/lib/systemd/system/plymouth-start.service /etc/systemd/system/
# touch /root/plymouth.debug
Change the ExecStart line to:
ExecStart=/usr/bin/plymouthd --debug --debug-file=/root/plymouth.debug --mode=boot --pid-file=/run/plymouth.pid --attach-to-session
And then:
# mkinitcpio -p linux
Reboot and then open the debug file we just created in /root.
From this, I found plymouth was trying to start the X11 renderer first, which fails, then the drm renderer (I am using the nvidia blob, so this is going to fail too). Finally, it tries the framebuffer renderer, which succeeds and the splash is finally displayed. The problem is, with systemd, the boot is continuing all the while plymouth is deciding on a renderer. So by the time the framebuffer renderer is successfully started and the splash displayed, the boot is practically finished.
So, upon further investigation, I found the file /usr/lib/initcpio/install/plymouth contains the following:
add_binary ${PLYMOUTH_PLUGIN_PATH}/renderers/drm.so
#add_binary ${PLYMOUTH_PLUGIN_PATH}/renderers/x11.so
add_binary ${PLYMOUTH_PLUGIN_PATH}/renderers/frame-buffer.so
Now X11 is already commented out. I also commented out drm and then rebuilt my initramfs. Unfortunately, plymouth still tries both of these renderers first.
Next step, onto the building of plymouth itself. Downloading the package from AUR and grabbing the source, I found the following configure options:
--enable-gtk
--enable-drm-renderer
Adding these to the configure line in the PGKBUILD set as follows:
--enable-gtk=no --enable-drm-renderer=no
and everything builds fine (you can even remove the gtk dependency with this option set), and now I don't have the X11 renderer. Unfortunately, the --enable-drm-renderer=no option fails, so the drm renderer is still present.
Installing the modified plymouth and rebuilding my initramfs, then rebooting, I now only get a delay when plymouth is trying the drm renderer and failing before it gets to the framebuffer renderer. My splash now appears earlier.
All I need to work out now is how to disable the drm renderer, seeing as that option fails in build. I think if I get this figured out, I will again have my plymouth splash for the full boot again (it even works for me with the plymouth hook immediately after base and before udev).
If anyone is able to assist me in disabling the drm renderer, it would be greatly appreciated.
So there you go, on the way to a solution, at least for me anyway. But this should give you an idea on what you need to do with your installation to get plymouth working again.
