Export Query Data as Pipe or Tab Delimted

Guys could you give me some inputs for this requirment.
I have a query and I need to export the data in the query. I dont need CSV format I need aither Pipe or Tab Delimted. One more thing there are some of the Keyfigures which are calculated in the query i need these as well, So i can do it through ListCube.
Any suggestions? I hope we can using APD but can we export as Pipe or Tab?

By using the  tcode:RSCRM_BAPI u can Extract the date into Table or CSV file or save the file to the Application server .
Procedure:
1. Goto RSCRM_BAPI,
2. Choose your query.
3. Choose view and double click on it.
4. Click on Extract(button) on tool bar(top right),
you can specify the file name there, by default it is written in DIR_HOME, you can have a look at it once you have extracted.

  • Export Query Data to Excel

    Hey guys, I have a cfm page that I am using to query data, and the  result set is displayed on the same page when a user clicks submit.
    My question is, I would like to create a clickable icon where, after a  user runs the query and the data table displays, I want the user to be  able to click a little Excel icon that will allow them to download the  data in Excel.
    So, a user clicks on a little icon somewhere on the page and IE or  Firefox or whatever pops up a little dialog box asking them if they want  to OPEN or SAVE the file results.xls.  How can I do this?
    Here is my current code, but where do I implement the cfoutput stuff to  export?  On the same page?

    I got the following code off of a thread in the forum, but it trys to  download the excel file as soon as the query is run (the excel download  doesn't work though, it trys to download the actual cfm page instead):
    <cfheader name="Content-Disposition"
    value="inline; filename=tb.xls">
    <cfcontent type="application/vnd.ms-excel">
    <table border="2">
    <tr>

    </tr>
    <cfoutput query="qActivity">
    <tr>
    <td>#qActivity.ACCOUNT#</td><td>#qActivity.DES1#</td><td>#qActivity.ENTITY#</td><td>#NumberFormat('#qActivity.TotalAmt#', "_(999,999,999.99)")#</td>
    </tr>
    </cfoutput>
    </table>
    </cfcontent>
    Thanks guysq

    To actually get the data into excel, google "cold fusion excel poi" and look for Ben Nadel's cfc.  Otherwise you might have issues with Office 2007.
    For the icon or whatever, make your query a session variable.  Then have the icon link to either a self closing popup or a very small iframe that exports the query to an excel file and then uses cfcontent to download it to the user.

  • Exporting spatial data to SHP or TAB file format

    Hi,
    I have a couple of layers (maps) uploaded as spatial data into an Oracle database. What I'd like to do now is export those maps (data) as standard file format like ESRI Shape or MapInfo TAB file, i.e. write out the data as SHP or TAB file(s) to the disk.
    Is this possible?
    Any hints, reference or third party solution will do.
    Thanks in advance.
    P.S. Here is the original process I followed to upload map data to Oracle.
    1) I had the map data as MapInfo TAB files.
    2) Used the EasyLoader application shipping with MapInfo to upload the data into Oracle.
    All I need now is the reverse engineering.

    If you want to export to ESRI shape and MapInfo and do not have SDE or MapInfo then I would suggest looking into FME (www.safe.com). Look at the Oracle Suite product. You can download an evaluation product. It will export from Oracle Spatial to both formats.
    Thanks

  • Exporting form data to a single table

    I have created a form in LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2  and simply want to export the data into a single table that I can then import into Access. It appears that in LiveCycle the row elements of a table are children of the table element and the column elements are children of the row elements.  I am wondering if there is an easy way to design a form in LiveCycle so that each cell of a table is a root element like the rest of the fields in the form.  I basically want to export one row of data from each form and append it to a larger table. Exporting the data as csv or tab-delimited would be sufficient, but neither of these appears to be an option.

    The only way I've found to do this is to open the form in Acrobat, click Forms, mouse over Manage Form Data, then click Export Data. Your only options are to save as .xml or .xdp. I saved my data as .xml. I was then able to import the .xml file into excel by clicking Data, mousing over xml, clicking Import... and browsing to the Acrobat generated .xml file. I know this is convoluted but it's the only way I've found to get the data into a spreadsheet. Acrobat exports the data as filename_data.xml, i.e. a form named contacts will export it's data as contacts_data.xml. Be aware, I've only tested this on a form that had a table in it and nothing else. If your table is part of a form with other fields in it I have no idea how the other data will look after exporting.

  • Export Query.

    Hi experts.
    Is there any FM/BAPI/RFC that export query data based on cube to table.
    i'm looking for solution with no use in mdx.
    Thanks.

    Hi Gil.
    You could use APD to extract the data from a query and then use the open hub to get the data out of SAP BW.

  • How to Export VO query data for all the columns.

    Hi All,
    I have advanced Table where i will be displaying only few of the columns from the VO query, when i export it will display only those columns which are displayed in advanced Table, so is it possible to export other columns also?
    Thanks
    Babu

    I faced this similar issue ...as per my knowledge if the widget for the underlying VO attribute is rendered then only one can export the data...a possible workaround is..u can create a similar page showing the respective columns intended to be exported and redirect to tht page and export it from there .....

  • How to export query results

    How can I export query results from sqlplus on the command line? Are there ways to specify the format such as CSV, TAB, XML, etc?
    I've seen one approach that involves creating a shell script and piping the output to a file:
    #!/bin/sh
    sqlplus user/password <<__EOF__
    set heading off;
    set newpage none;
    select f1, ',', f2, ',', f3 from some_table;
    __EOF__
    Then pipe the output to a file. Is there a simpler solution to this?

  • Unable to export real data

    dear experts,
    I have tried to find discussions on this already but after wadding through a few pages, I thought I could be helped faster if I threaded this topic.
    I have been able to successfully log into an oracle db and was looking to export about 35 tables.
    So far, the way I was instructed to do this is query the data to list those tables, then right-click on each table and export it.
    First, I tried doing that but rather than export the data in each table, it is export the table structure.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Second, perhaps more importantly, is there a more efficient way to export those tables?
    Many thanks in advance

    Selecting multiple tables in the Schema Browser and right clicking will only allow export of the DDL sql. Selecting a single table and right clicking gives and export data option with several options for the export type (SQL, csv, SQL Loader, xls etc.). Right clicking on the data in the data tab gives the same set of options as does right clicking on the data in the results tab of a SQL Worksheet.
    A better way is to use the menu option ,Tools->Database Export' and select the objects and data you want to export. This will export everything selected as SQL.

  • Export is not exporting the data from Page. It always gets the data from VO

    Hi,
    I have got a critical issue, where I am Not able to export the current data from the page.
    I have an export button and the VO is attached to it.
    1) My page will execute the VO and I do some calculations to remove some rows, add the grand total etc.
    2) The export button just re-executes the query and exports, which is not that, I want. I would like to export the current contents of the VO, which I manipulate and it is shown on the page.
    To give an example -
    My VO query is executed, when I click the Report button. I then adds Grand Total row to the VO and it gets displayed on the Page also.
    Now, when I click the export button, it just exports the data which is coming from the VO SQL query, whereas I want the data from current state of VO i.e. with the grand total, which I added and is coming on the page also.
    I will be really grateful, if someone can help me with this as it is really urgent.
    Thanks for your help.
    Shiju

    Hi Shiju,
    Is the export to csv opening fine with the data showing in individual columns when opening from internet explorer. What version of IE are you using? For us the export works fine from Firefox but does not work well in IE. From IE, the data shows with the commas in a single string. Appreciate your response as it will help us understand if our issue is local to our environment.
    Thanks.

  • How can i export the data to excel which has 2 tables with same number of columns & column names?

    Hi everyone, again landed up with a problem.
    After trying a lot to do it myself, finally decided to post here..
    I have created a form in form builder 6i, in which on clicking a button the data gets exported to excel sheet.
    It is working fine with a single table. The problem now is that i am unable to do the same with 2 tables.
    Because both the tables have same number of columns & column names.
    Below are 2 tables with column names:
    Table-1 (MONTHLY_PART_1)
    Table-2 (MONTHLY_PART_2)
    SL_NO
    SL_NO
    COMP
    COMP
    DUE_DATE
    DUE_DATE
    U-1
    U-1
    U-2
    U-2
    U-4
    U-4
    U-20
    U-20
    U-25
    U-25
    Since both the tables have same column names, I'm getting the following error :
    Error 402 at line 103, column 4
      alias required in SELECT list of cursor to avoid duplicate column names.
    So How can i export the data to excel which has 2 tables with same number of columns & column names?
    Should i paste the code? Should i post this query in 'SQL and PL/SQL' Forum?
    Help me with this please.
    Thank You.

    You'll have to *alias* your columns, not prefix it with the table names:

  • Export XML data from a CLOB field using sql developer

    I have a table that contains a CLOB field, each record is a complete XML in itself. After running the select query i am exporting this data by right clicking on the answer set, while the export completes the data for each record gets truncated.
    When i chose to save the export in loader format i get the complete records but now there are n files created for n records exported.
    Is there a way i can get alll the records in a single file wirthout any truncation.
    Thanks in advance!

    You might try delimited format or csv, with no enclosures if desired.

  • How to export some data from the tables of an owner with integrity?

    Hi to all,
    How to export some data from the tables of an owner with integrity?
    I want to bring some data from all tables in a single owner of the production database for development environment.
    My initial requirements are: seeking information on company code (emp), contract status (status) and / or effective date of contract settlement (dt_liq_efetiva) - a small amount of data to developers.
    These three fields are present in the main system table (the table of contracts). Then I thought about ...
    - create a temporary table from the query results table to contract;
    - and then use this temporary table as a reference to fetch the data in other tables of the owner while maintaining integrity. But how? I have not found the answer, because: what to do when not there is the possibility of a join between the contract and any other table?
    I am considering the possibility of consulting the names of tables, foreign keys and columns above, and create dynamic SQL. Conceptually, something like:
    select r.constraint_name "FK name",
    r.table_name "FK table",
    r.column_name "FK column",
    up.constraint_name "Referencing name",
    up.table_name "Referencing table",
    up.column_name "Referencing column"
    from all_cons_columns up
    join all_cons_columns r
    using (owner, position), (select r.owner,
    r.constraint_name fk,
    r.table_name table_fk,
    r.r_constraint_name r,
    up.table_name table_r
    from all_constraints up, all_constraints r
    where r.r_owner = up.owner
    and r.r_constraint_name = up.constraint_name
    and up.constraint_type in ('P', 'U')
    and r.constraint_type = 'R'
    and r.owner = 'OWNERNAME') aux
    where r.constraint_name = aux.fk
    and r.table_name = aux.table_fk
    and up.constraint_name = aux.r
    and up.table_name = aux.table_r;
    -- + Dynamic SQL
    If anyone has any suggestions and / or reuse code to me thank you very much!
    After resolving this standoff intend to mount the inserts in utl_file by a table and create another program to read and play in the development environment.

    Thanks, Peter.
    Well, I am working with release 9.2.0.8.0. But the planning is migrate to 10g this year. So my questions are:
    With Data Pump can export data just from tables owned for me (SCHEMAS = MYOWNER) parameterizing the volume of data (SAMPLE) and filters to table (QUERY), right? But parameterizing a contract table QUERY = "WHERE status NOT IN (2,6) ORDER BY contract ":
    1º- the Data Pump automatically searches for related data in other tables in the owner? ex. parcel table has X records related (fk) with Y contracts not in (2,6): X * SAMPLE records will be randomly exported?
    2º- for the tables without relation (fk) and which are within the owner (MYOWNER) the data is exported only based on the parameter SAMPLE?
    Once again, thank you,
    Philips

  • Is there a way to export the data collected with PDF forms, and saved via FormsCentral, into a MS Excel or Access file format?

    or Is there another place to save data collected by PDF forms other than FormsCentral? e.g. another database on the web server that presents the form?

    Hi,
    Yes, you can export user responses into an excel file. To do that, open the responses tab, select Files -> Export Responses and select Microsoft Excel to export response data into.
