Exporting Data Quality Statistics Into An Excel File Or Database

Hi,
I would like to ask if it is possible to export the data profiling statistics into an excel file / flat file or a database table.
The output required by our development team is that we would like to be able to manipulate and review the data profiling outside of the Data Quality Services User Interface.
I'm aware that after the cleansing of a specific set of data is that you can save/export the output results into an excel file or database, however the feature I'm looking for is for the data profiling statistics itself.
Mostly information on the knowledge base. Specifically, how many new records this specific column has and how many unique data and invalid data this column has and etc.
The reason for this is that so we can control and track the data profiling information and be a bit more flexible in creating reports and presenting the data. Using the DQS user interface would not suit our needs
for the project.
Sorry if this has been asked before but i've tried searching around and couldn't find any information regarding this functionality.

I'm not too sure where they are stored, but you could use the directories shown in transaction AL11 so find them.

Am having a very big problem,i have to export data from excel to database.My excel is havin multiple worksheet.
I thought of most of the options nothing is suiting my layout.
SQL loader ,can't use due to multiple worksheet.
HSServices can;t use because my column headings are row wise,and the excel start with a big Heading rather than having column headings.
UTL_FILE can't use beacuse of multiple worksheet,and frankly speaking i don't know how to use utl file with excel to read paticular cell in excel.

Secondly, I don't think you thought of most of the options.
Yes, you can use SQL*Loader as you can dump each individual worksheet to a separate CSV file.
Also, you didn't consider ODBC. If ODBC in Excel is too cumbersome, you can use MsAccess to hook the Excel sheet in Msaccess, connect to the database using the Oracle ODBC driver and design an ordinary append query,
Obviously, you would need one query per worksheet.

How to save data into an excel file ?

I am working on using computer to corol HP8510 Network Analyzer System. Firstlly, I save my data into a notepad.Now I want to save them directly into an excel file. Is there anybody can give me any clue?

The attached zip file contains several VI's to read and write directly to Excel using ActiveX. There are several example VI showing how to use everything. This set is saved in LabVIEW 6.0.2.
I suggest you unzip these to your user.lib directory so you'll be able to easily access them from the functions palette.
I have not actually used these, but others that have say they have worked well for them.

How to write a data type into an excel file?

Hi everyone,
What I am trying to do is to get some data from MS SQL then write into an excel file.

There is no problem to write into an excel file, however, after all data is imported, excel sheet treats the the integers or dates as Text format. The funny part is, after I double click one of the cells with an integer value, that cell's format will be changed to integer, same thing happens with the date type.
I am wondering if there is any way I can write an integer or whatever type into an excel file, which excel can recognize their own types instead of Text format. Thank you so much in advance.

Upload data from multiple worksheets of excel file into SAP by using MIME?

I'm trying to getting the data from a multiple worksheet excel file by usin the MIME Repository.
First of all i realizied it like [here|http://abap-explorer.blogspot.com/2008/12/upload-data-from-multiple-worksheets-of.html] in a normal ABAP Report.
By trying to transfer the code to a WebDynpro Component, i get problems.
With this part of code, because ActiveX is not allowed in our Webbrowser. So i have to find another solution to get the data from the excel file.

I tried to rebuild this solution in webdynpro. But it dont works.
So my next step was trying to Read the Excel sheet directly from MIME by getting the Content (XString).

Maybe someone has an idea how to rebuild [this code|http://abap-explorer.blogspot.com/2008/12/upload-data-from-multiple-worksheets-of.html] in Webdynpro that it works correctly.
Currently Im Using the Fileupload UI Element. All Works fine. I can Upload the Excel file to MIME Repository and i can open it from there.
But i cant get the same clear informationen from the file, to write it later in a Database, like before without webdynpro.
i hope someone can help me.

You can't read the native binary Excel Format in server side ABAP. The functions and classes that did this in Classic Dynpro used OLE Automation via the SAPGUI Control Framework to remotely control Excel to read the data. Because in the browser you have no connection to the SAPGUI or are sandboxed inside the browser; the same functionality is not possible.
I would suggest that you look into saving the Excel file as a open, text format. You might be able to use XML (although the Excel XML format can be complex) to support multiple sheets. You would have to build the logic yourself (using XSLT or the iXML parser) to process the XML format back into ABAP data.

How do you save data into an excel file while myRIO is acquiring data? I tried saving it using "Write to file" but it doesn't work for some reason.

I am acquiring cosine wave and a pulse wave as input and I want to store their peak to peak values into an excel file. "Write to File" is not working for it. Is there any other vi which can be used for data logging?

Can you provide more detail when you say that the Write to File VI doesn't work? Is there an error given? Or can you just not find the file on your computer? Keep in mind using this file in a Real-Time VI on the myRIO will save files on the myRIO. You will then have to transfer to your PC. Time Stamp problem while writing data into the excel file

Hii, All
I am taking the data from the DAQ card of the TOPSCCC with the 8 ms of scanrate for each channel and there are total 16 no of Analog channels in the Card, now i am acquiring the data from the card, time stamping it and writing it into the excel file, which is tab delimited, now the problem is, the data which are in the excel file have the same timestamp for 4 to 5 continuous records, instead we want each data with the different and continuous time stamp with same difference of time stamp between two records, mean if it is difference of 8 ms then it should be the 8 ms for all, but here it is taking the differnce of 16 ms for two samples and giving same time stamp for four to five records and that shouldn't happen, here i am attaching my vi, drivers for the cards and Excel file with the data, can you please give me any suggestion how to do it?
Please help me i require this suggestion as early as possible, i am requiring it urgently.

Can we combine multiple excel files into one excel file using SSIS?

I have a bunch of excel files in a specified folder. I wanted to combine all the excel files into one excel file by adding additional tabs in one excel file. Can I do this using SSIS?

I know using macro we can combine multiple excel files. Can we run a excel macro in SSIS? Please help me.
Actually the complete package is this:
Step1: Using FTP task I'm downloading the bunch of excel files into a folder.
Step2: Above implementation is the second step that I have to do.

You can do it in two steps
1. First get all data from excel sheets to a sql staging table. For that you need to use a looping logic as explained in below link (you dont required the additional logic used for checking file name etc in below example as you need all files). Also make

Error while exporting data from sql server to excel

Hi,
I am trying to export data from sql server to excel.
The query that I used is s follows
INSERT INTO OPENROWSET( 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0', 'Excel 8.0;Database=C:\Folder1\abc.xls','select * from [Sheet1$A1:IV65000]')
select
column1,column2.... from Table1
I get the following error message while doing so..
String or binary data would be truncated.
The statement has been terminated.
One of the column's holds data more than 225 characters.
What is the way to correct this, i want the whole data of the colum in the excel sheet.

I haven't had great luck with the INSERT INTO OPENROWSET method. Can you try one of the many samples from one of these 3 links?

FM to get Data from Sheet of an excel file to Internal table??

Hello Champs!!!
I have a problem in Excel File's Data Getting.
There are diffrent Sheets in a single Excel file. I need data of a perticular sheet into an internal Table.
Like there are 2 Sheets in an Excel file EXCEL1, Sheet1 & Sheet2. Both Sheet have diffrent Data in it.
Now i only need Data of Sheet1 of this Excel FIle Excel1.
How can i get it?

While downloading Chinese characters into an excel file , using GUI_DOWNLOAD function module , im getting JUNK Characters instead of chinese characters.
But if im downloading the same chinese data into an text file or unix file , there is no such problem.

No error but still nothing is enter into my Excel file

this is my connection class and i enter paramters into the logPayment method ...... Im getting NO ERRO message by still no data is entered into my excel worksheet ..... and my parameters all have values in them ..... none are empty

Problem in writing into the excel file using java code

I will be getting the data as a string and i am writing into the excel file. the problem is .if it has numeric values even now i will writing as a string data ,at this time i am getting the message in the excel file as "Number in the cell is formatted as text".
I need to remove this thru my code..but i can write only as a string .
To write in a excel file ,i used HSSFWorkbook.
