Exporting to WSDL

Hi
We need to export a sap data to WSDL / XML Schema or OLEDB.  Or a stored procedure
Does SAP support this? If yes , please guide me.
If this is not the correct group that this question is posted, please let me where I can post this.
Thanks in advance
Karthika

Yes, yes, yes, yes. Note that forums are not the place for training, it is just for answering rather precise questions. What do you want to do exactly, what problem do you have?

  • Unable to generate WebService Client with Exported (BAPI) WSDL file from XI

    Hi there,
    I, trying to setup a simple Web Service environment where I'll be exposing a BAPI as Web Service via XI.
    So these are the steps I followed:
    <b>1)</b> first I imported the BAPI meta data into my SWC in the repository. <b>2)</b> Second I defined my interrface etc.. <b>3)</b> Third I exported the generated BAPI WSDL file. <b>4)</b> Fourth, I tried to generate a Java proxy/client for my Web Service using a Java IDE (IBM WebSphere Application Developer and XML Spy).
    Now the problem is that Im not able to generate the Web Service client using the exported WSDL file, the WSDL seems not to be valid...From the generated errors in the IDE, I can see that the problem has to do somewhere/somehow with the WSDL Binding element, which input parameters do not match the input parameters of the port type.
    This is a small part of the WSDL file as generated by XI:
         <wsdl:message name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Input">
              <wsdl:part name="parameters" element="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"/>
         </wsdl:message>
         <wsdl:message name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Output">
              <wsdl:part name="parameters" element="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Response" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"/>
         </wsdl:message>
         <wsdl:portType name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.PortType">
              <wsdl:operation name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS">
                   <wsdl:input message="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Input"/>
                   <wsdl:output message="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Output"/>
              </wsdl:operation>
         </wsdl:portType>
         <wsdl:binding name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.SAPBinding" type="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.PortType" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/">
              <s0:binding style="rfc"/>
    Has anyone faced a situation like this before? Any clues where to look? I appreciate any feedback, thanks!

  • Export SOAP WSDL's in UCM

    Hello All,
    I have created WSDL for 'AddCollection' in development env. I can able to create collection (folders) & check-in docs to this collections through a java program using this wsdl. Now i want to export this AddCollection.wsdl file to testing env. I couldn't find any option for exporting & importing soap wsdl's in UCM. (or) I have to generate/create the same structure of collection wsdl in testing env manually, is this right way?
    Could anyone can provide some idea to overcome this tasks.
    My UCM configuration is
    Product Version 10.1.3.3.2 (071031)
    Product Build 7.2.2.184
    Native Version 7.1.0.1
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Gowri.

    You have several options:
    First, check out the <install>/data/soap/custom directory and you might find the definition of your custom wsdl. You could move that over to the new server, wire it in and see if it shows up?
    Second, there used to be a class called WsdlMerger.java that would allow you to create a component that would install/update custom wsdl's on target machines. This is of limited use for one or two moves, but if you're creating a component with a lot of reuse it works slick. It does take some work to build out and does require some Java skills. If interested, kick me a note and I'll try to get you the Java class for you to toy around with. jason at corecontentonly dot com.

  • Export WSDL in ldconsole giving java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

    I have deployed 8 Logical data services. I am able to export the WSDL for all but one using the Export WSDL link on the ldconsole. For one data service I get the following error.
    java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 16541
    I am able to generate the WSDL for the same data service from the workshop and it is working fine.
    I need to get this working from the ldconsole as I am exposing the data services to the ALSB layer and they have to pick the WSDL from the ldconsole.
    Please help.

  • Exported WSDL from XI

    Hi all,
    I exported 1 wsdl from XI configuration (Tools->Define Web Service).
    In the wsdl location I can see the service url, but it isn't reachable from the Web Service Navigator.
    Can I configure an url from which download the wsdl?
    Thanks
    Lucio

    Hi Lucio,
    I exported 1 wsdl
    Now have have the Web service Discription language.
    To see it in the Web Service Navigator you have to implement it. and deploy on the server.
    Can I configure an url from which download the wsdl?
    Yes you can but that you will use to send Saop Request.
    Thanks

  • Error while getting SSM75 data to Xcelsius (WSDL)

    Hello Everyone,
    Recently weu2019ve been assigned to an Xcelsius 2008 SP3 dashboard implementation over Strategy Management data.
    We are trying to reach SSM´S data through the strategy management SMData Service and the CubeService web services so Xcelsius can later consume the corresponding WSDL files.
    We are also trying to establish a connection between Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1 Designer and Strategy Management with the Strategy Management ODBO Provider.
    The documentation we are following is the u201CConfiguration Help SAP BusinessObjects Strategy Management 7.5u201D, following each procedure step by step but we are not getting the expected results pointed out on the documentation:
    Process for Xcelsius
    1. Add users of the SMDataService Web Service to SAP NetWeaver UME.
    2. Add users of the CubeService Web Service to SAP NetWeaver UME.
    3. Set Basic Authentication for the SMDataService Web Service.
    4. Set Basic Authentication for the CubeService Web Service.
    5. Export the WSDL files from SAP NetWeaver CE.
    6. Prepare the WSDL files for importing into Xcelsius.
    7. Import the strategy management WSDLs into Xcelsius.
    8. Map input and output values to the Xcelsius Excel spreadsheet.
    9. Configure Xcelsius Components to use data from the Excel Spreadsheet.
    1. Start Web Services Administration in SAP NetWeaver using the following URL:http://nwa/WSAdmin
    2. In the Search By drop-down list, select Service Definition Name and click Go.
    3. From the list of services, select jee-default_SMDataService.
    4. Click the WSDLs tab.
    5. Click the WSDL links for SMDataService. A window appears with SMDataServiceWSDL data.
    6. Click File Save As and save the opened WSDL file using the .wsdl extension to a directory accessible by Xcelsius.
    7. From the list of services, select jee-default_CubeService.
    8. Click the WSDLs tab.
    9. Click the WSDL links for CubeService.A window appears with CubeService WSDL data.
    10. Click File Save As and save the opened WSDL file using the .wsdl extension to a directory accessible by Xcelsius.
    After this step while attempting to import the wsdl URL we get the u201CUnable to load the URLu201D pop up error. We were wondering if we have to pass certain parameters as login credentials or query type functions from Xcelsius to SSM. Also we are not sure if we have security issues.
    Procedure for Universe Designer connection
    1. Start BusinessObjects Enterprise, open Designer, and log in as the administrator.
    2. Click the Create Universe button on the toolbar to launch the wizard for creating a universe. If this is your first time running Designer, the wizard appears automatically.
    3. In the Welcome Screen, click Begin.
    4. In the Enter the universe name box, specify the name for the universe.
    5. Click New to create a new database connection to the strategy management Provider.
    6. In the first Define a new connection window, click Next.
    7. In the Define a new connection window for database middleware selection, do the following:
    1. In the hierarchical list, select Strategy Management. Strategy Management appears because you defined this value in the oledb_olap.sdo file.
    2. In the Connection Type drop-down list, specify whether to make this a secured connection.
    3. In the Connection Name box, specify a connection a name.
    4. Then click Next.
    8. In the Define a new connection window for login parameters, do the following:
    1. In the Authentication Mode drop-down list, select the method of
    authentication such as single sign or user specified username and password.
    2. Specify the username, password, and server for the connection, and then
    click Next.
    We cannot pass from this step, Designer fails to connect and displays message stating Designer has an error to connect to database.
    Hope somebody can help us out, thanks in advance...

    Thanks ,I have been gone through <Projection Type='System.WorkItem.Incident.ProjectionType">.

  • Complete export of SAP XI elements to an external, readable format i.e. XML

    Within the scope of a project regarding Dependencies of Applications within the company the data, saved in the Integration Directory as well as in the Integration Repository, have to be exported in an external, readable format which can be processed in another application. My question is concerned with the extraction possibilities I have concerning the different components:
    Integration Repository: Here we need the data about Message Interfaces, Message Types as well as Data Types. As this information are formally described using WSDL: Does a possibility exist to export all WSDL Documents automatically?
    Integration Directory: Here we are interested in the elements: Receiver Determination, Interface Determination, Sender Agreement etc. Does any possibility exist to export these data to i.e. a XML File? Is ABAP necessary?
    Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Kind Regards,
    Sebastian Grunow

    You can read, alter and load objects with the APIs of the WebServicesNavigator. To browse to there open your browser and go to http://url:Port/index.html
    There you can select the Web Services Navigator. Browse through the services for the desired objects. Use the query function to read out all existing objects by key values and as a template to use the read-function of these APIs.
    Make sure you have the Java-Roles SAP_XI_API_DEVELOP_J2EE and/or SAP_XI_API_DISPLAY_J2EE

  • Issue with WSDL created for sender agreement

    Hi,
    Can you please help me why I am getting the erroe with WSDL that has been created from directory Sener agreement in PI 7.1 EHP1?
    My interface is a SOAP to file ASYNC scenario and we have been given 5 XSDs that are referencing one each other ,5 XSDs are imported successfully and referenced properly,no errors/issues found.
    Created all ESr and directory objects and I tried creating WSDL from sender agreement for my Source/outbound inteface that is created with XSDs in ESR.
    When I try to import WSDL into SOPA UI to validate ,the import process stuck for ever while trying to import "http://www.w3.org/2001/xml.xsd" and finally throws me error.
    After that I tried importing WSDL created in Directory into AltovaXML spy to created the webservice request,I am getting the following error""invalid XML Schema:"xml:lang" is already declared in the schema dcument C:|..my WSDL.
    Even our partner who wants to make Webservice calls using this WSDL,they are not able to develop their Webservices they are getting errors something related to schema not found /not defined etc.
    Please let me know,what might be the issue?I verified several times with my XSD imports and referencing properly and configuration objects.
    Thank you for your help in advance.
    Regards,
    Prem

    Hi Mark,
    I am not getting issue while displaying/Exporting  as WSDL in ESR.I am getting issue while trying import WSDL that is generated out of Service Interface into SOAP UI or Altova XML Spy.
    I don't think PI created the WSDl out of W3 standards.
    This is the error I am getting in XML Spy:
    File C:\Documents and Settings\Prem\Desktop\SI_XYZ_O.wsdl is not valid
         Invalid XML schema: ''xml:lang' is already declared.
              Error location: schema / attribute++
    and in SOAP UI:It is trying to import the WSDL and it stuck for ever while trying to import http://www.w3.org/2001/xml.xsd and never imprts the WSDL into SOAP UI project.
    Please let me know,if you have any ideas.
    Thank you,
    Prem.

  • Problem with WSDL file generated by PI for sender SOAP

    I have a scenario SOAP to idoc that I am trying to test in PI7.1.  I have created my objects in the ESR and completed the configuration in IB.  When I test the configuration in IB, the data passes through PI to ECC correctly.
    Now I want to export the WSDL file from the Sender Service Interface being used for this scenario and test it using SOAPUI.  However, when I look at the WSDL file proposed by PI, there is no SOAP URL proposed in the WSDL.  My understanding from looking at other threads in the the forum is that the URL should be proposed in the WSDL file, and I can then export this WSDL file to my PC, and upload it into SOAPUI for testing.
    Why is the URL not being proposed in my WSDL file?
    Thanks in advance for any help.
    Terri

    Thanks Baskar that solved part of the problem.
    When I use this newly generated WSDL file for testing in SOAPUI, I now get an error 401, which I believe has something to do with needing a user id and password.  However, my scenario is not setup to require a userid or password.  Any other help would be appreciated.

  • Problem with Axis Adapter endpoint url in WSDL file.

    Dear experts,
    We are using PI 7.1 ehp1 with a SOAP to RFC scenarios using the Axis adapter.
    We have the XIAxisAdapter as sender Communication Channel and the related Sender Agreement.
    When i am looking into the WSDL file of the Sender Agreement than the endpoint contains ...location="host:port/ XISOAPAdapter /MessageServlet"... in stead of ...location="host:port/ XIAxisAdapter /MessageServlet"...
    The url with "XISOAPAdapter " will not work. When i export the WSDL file and manually adjust the location to "XIAxisAdapter " everything works fine.
    Is it possible to directly generate a correct WSDL with calling the url http://host:50000/dir/wsdl?p=xxxx?
    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Joost Weghorst

    Hi Sonya,
    You can use configuration plan while deploying composite.
    The configuration plan enables you to define the URL and property values to use in different environments. During process deployment, the configuration plan is used to search the SOA project for values that must be replaced to adapt the project to the next target environment.
    Please refer this doc. for getting introduced to config plan.
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29542_01/dev.1111/e10224/sca_lifecycle.htm#SOASE10908

  • How to get OSB to stop appending port # in the endpoint of a published WSDL

    This is the closest thread I could find to my issue, but still is not quite what I am looking for: How to get ip number in WSDL instead of host name? I have an OSB server behind a VIP, and I am publishing a proxy service for an external client to call. The VIP only accepts connections over SSL/https. OSB only hosts services on http/port 80, and the VIP handles the connectivity and security between them.
    I wrote a wsdl by hand, set my endpoint to the VIP address (https), created the proxy service, and deployed to OSB. I can test the service all day in SoapUI by calling the VIP, so far so good. However, when the client calls https://VIP/myService/?wsdl, he sees the wsdl's endpoint populated as http://VIP/myService:80.
    How do I stop OSB from appending :80 to the endpoint in the wsdl? This makes it unusable for any client caller to generate code by calling ?wsdl, so it forces us to export the wsdl and all schema files and provide to clients by hand. What configuration setting can we change that will fix this behavior?

    vladodias wrote:

    I should have mentioned that :80 was an external constraint, so it was not an option to change this portion of the OSB configuration...
    Most wsdl clients should be able to call a wsdl from any port as well... The presence of :80 shouldn't make any difference... So, I can't quite understand that either...The point is to be able to provide a framework to clients that needs as few settings overridden as possible, so we'd like the published endpoint to actually match the true endpoint that we would expect a client to call.

  • Cannot import WSDL to JAVA JAX-RPC (using WSCOMPILE)

    I exported a WSDL-file (i.e. for RFC_PING) via the BSP WebServiceBrowser (WAS 6.20). For generating the interface i have to start the wscompile-tool of JAX-RPC (right ?). But wscompile answers with an error:
    unerwartetes Element "definitions" in Konfigur

    Are the WSDL-files not compatible ? How I have to work with the WSDL ?

    Oops, i used a wrong configfile for the wscompile tool. It's all right now.

  • Import WSDL imported from WS Navigator.

    Hi Everybody,
    First, sorry for my English. I'm from Brazil.
    I've done an EJB in Developer Studio, generated a WebService in the same tools and deployed then in Application Server. After that, I run the WS Navigator and exported the WSDL to a zip file.
    So, I imported this WSDL in PI (External Definition) but I can't use this "External Definition" because when I try to use then in Message Mapping or Message Interface, the following error is showed: "Has no message".
    Do I have to convert the WSDL to XSD format?
    How can I use a WSDL as an External Definition?
    Does anybody could help me?
    Best Regards,
    Hyalen.

    Hello Sunil,
    Thank you for the quick response.
    I managed to import the WSDL. The problem is that I can not use the External Definition in the Message Mapping because the system said that has no message.
    In fact, after importing the WSDL Message tab is empty.
    Thanks a lot for the help.
    Hyalen.

  • Implementing an XI WSDL

    Hi everybody!
    I am just trying to import a WSDL file created out of XI in a webdynpro project. Somehow when I try to create a new Model nothing is happening even I don't get any error messages. What am I doing wrong? Is there any documetation?
    Bye Markus

    Hi Marcus.
    I think you´d like to create a WS Model from a Message Interface definition (exported as WSDL)? In this WSDL-document you haven´t any receiver information for an executable webservice.
    If you´d like to call a (xi)-webservice from webdynpro, you can create it from a service definition at configuration time. Please refer to the xi documentation (configuration time).
    Regards,
    Daniel

  • How to be able to view the proxy service's WSDL in the browser

    Hello, I created a ALSB proxy service that I have been able to successfully access from a SOAP client. I exported the WSDL from the Project Explorer, Resources Block, Actions column, and it gave me this URL to hit the proxy service:
    http://mymachine:7001/OneProxyServiceToOneBusinessService/DoubleItWSFromWL_PRSRV
    No problem here. But when I try to access the WSDL from the browser (helpful for SOAP clients in generating the JAX-WS artifacts), using this URL:
    http://mymachine:7001/OneProxyServiceToOneBusinessService/DoubleItWSFromWL_PRSRV?wsdl
    I get this error HTML message back as a response:
    "Error 405--Method Not Allowed
    From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.6 405 Method Not Allowed
    The method specified in the Request-Line is not allowed for the resource identified by the Request-URI. The response MUST include an Allow header containing a list of valid methods for the requested resource"
    (Same error message if I omit the "?wsdl" at the end, BTW.)
    I don't understand this message--what do I need to do to be able to view the proxy service's WSDL from the browser, or does ALSB not provide that option?
    Thanks,
    Glen

    Click on the Proxy Service in your ALSB project to go to Proxy Service Configuration page. On this page, you will see an endpoint URI, something like /myservice. To get the wsdl in browser, use the URL like http://mymachine:7001/myservice?wsdl
