Exposure of Faces not being controlled by Face Detection and Touch-and-Track on Vixia
I cannot get my Vixia G30 to automatically adjust its exposure of faces
or objects being detected and tracked, even though the focus keeps up just
fine. When I touch a screen object to select it -- whether it’s relatively bright
or dark -- I get a double square bracket around it but the exposure doesn’t
change at all. When this object moves while being tracked, the exposure only
changes along with the overall scene brightness level, never in response to the
changing brightness of the moving object. Is there some trick for getting the
exposure of a tracked object to be tracked, as occurs flawlessly with focus? The
manual states it should. This problem is making it difficult for me to shoot
theater.

I´m trying to implement a method to handle user session expiry as explained by frank nimphius in his blog.

I have implemented the class bellow and add the filters in web.xml. However when I add the JavaServer Faces Servlet to sign the filter, my hole application get nuts. I try to publish the applicatoin in the OAS and it seems that it already starts expired.
Someone konw what I´m doing wrong?

My external HD of 1TB is not being recognized by the iMac and when after a long waiting period it does, the whole computer becomes extremely slow. Do I need any particular add-on to make it workable?
Before I updated to OS X Mavericks I was using another external disk that was getting disconnected ocasionally so I bought a new ADATA HD710 portable 1TB Drive and moved the files to it. This new drive which is supposed to be OS X Mavericks compatible takes minutes to show the files especially when opening second and third level folders which has made mu iMac unusable
What should I do?Your Mac should be able to recognize many different types of drives (including Windows-formatted drives) immediately for Reading, provided they are in good working condition and not damaged. There should be no need to transfer to a different type of drive.
If there is no recognition of this drive, see if it can be seen in Disk Utility.
If your aim is to transfer the data on it DO NOT use ERASE or PARTITION as these will completely erase all the information on the Drive.
If the drive is present while the Mac sleeps, it is likely to drop out and not be seen any longer, especially if it is a USB-powered drive. -

Contact Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 to find out. But they will most likely tell you what you already know...it needs to be restored against the computer is was last linked with.

Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Browsing History" if Firefox is closed. -

THE use of the apple support is a mess also.
I want to be able to use my MAC fully and easily like I used to with Snow Leopard.
What is wrong with this maverick OS?The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ... -

This came from another thread, but worked for me. Problem is with newest iTunes 4.62. Unistall iTunes, as well as its helper programs (Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support, and Apple Software Update). Reboot, and reinstall iTunes. It will reinstall all the other ones and you should be able to connect your nano. Good luck.

troubled traviesoDid you try using another usb port? my hardrive has two maybe yours does. And if you have a game console, some of those have usb ports so plug your ipod in there and see if that reconizes it.

Hi... I really need some help from you guys. My ipod touch is not responding whenever I connect it to my PC. It gives no feedback. The battery image that is shown when I charge my ipod touch doesn't show up unlike if I charge it using the wall charger. I have used different kinds of ports and I ended up with similar things. No response! . However, I can still use my ipod and play music with it. The only problem is its syncing ability is gone. I have only used it for a year now and the warranty that came with it is expired. I hope I can get a good answer from you guys. ThanKs!!!
I am afraid that the solution did not work... the ipod touch of mine seems really not functioning. It receives an electric isgnal from the computer but it doesnt sync at all... Whenever I put my ipod touch off and plug it to my computer it turns on but it doesnt sync... .. Moreover, I have used different PCs so as to try it syncing.. I have lost acess to most of my music in my itunes on my computer. I have a modern newish computer with windows 7 software and the latest version 11 Apple itunes software. Now all I get is amessage stating '' music cannot be found as original file cannot be found.'' I do not understand what I have to do to track down were the music is now filed as I understand that it somehow has been ''moved'' [how does this happen???] and itunes cannot find it.

The error that you are receiving usually indicates that the file or files are either missing completely from the computer or that the files are in a location that iTunes is set to read. This is easily correctable if the media is on the computer. The article below will help you locate your media.

Router not being acknowledged in any way and sad about it.
I have a BEFW11S4 Version 2 Wireless Router/Access Point. I have an HP laptop running Windows XP. I have a T.com (German Version) wireless DSL modem. I am able to connect to the internet wirelessly through my modem. I have followed the instructions that came with the router and the EasyLink Advisor instructions. Each time I followed the instructions I was wired from my computer to the router and the router was wired to the modem. EasyLink stated that it could not detect an internet connection (I had and have one) and it could not detect the router. On my router, these lights are lit: WLAN Link, Power, Link/Act, Full Col, 100 (in orange) [above the number 1], Link. On occassion, the Act and Link/Act lights flash. Also, my computer detects a LAN of 100 Mbps when I am wired to the router and it is disconnected when I disconnect my router or unplug it.
So, please help. It seems that all should be working, but, well, it's not.I kinda had the same problem with my WRT54G v5 router i think but I'm not sure how yours is setup. It says its connected but it doesn't go online. The way I fixed it is that my modem changes its IP Address every time I turn off the power. So I found out the new IP Address of the modem and put if in my router. I did it by going to http://192.168.1.1 but yours might be different and I put the setup to Static IP and put in everything that my modem provided me with.
To find the IP and gateway address attach your modem to your PC and go to Start>RUN then in the RUN box type in CMD. A black box should appear and then type in IPCONFIG /ALL and then it should give you your information about your modem then connect your modem to the router and the PC to your router. Go to the Router Setup and input the information that was given from your modem. It should work, how I got mines to work.
To safely exit out of the black box type EXIT. -

I keep seeing this issue arise over and over and I think this is a serious concern that Apple needs to address. We should have the option of merging our accounts. I have had these two accounts since the services began and I have purchases on both accounts that I want put into one. Maybe if enough people make this issue their priority, we will get noticed.
This is not an issue, they are the same address, use whichever you prefer because nothing is getting 'fixed'
