i have a tablix in which i took grandtotal for one column.
in second page i need to get cummulative grand total .how can i achieve this..

Question regarding adding sums in 3 tables for a grand total

Can someone please help me with this. I have the coding in the tables to add table 6, 7, and 8 but each time I add or delete a row the coding gets messed up. It is adding in some places but not on each row. I don't know the coding to use to avoid this problem everytime you add or delete a row. I just need all tables to add up for a grand total.

% is not getting correctly for the Grand Total Row in OBI10g

Hi,We have a report in table view with the following structure.

Total     300     60     27.5
The value for the %Ach Total row should be 20% but in the report it is showing as 27.5.
any one observed this ,how to correct this??

Report creation for storing grand total in PA0014

Hello experts,
the scenario is like this:
In webdynpro appliction i am having some fileds like
A1
A2
A3
A4
A5
so now the user can enter any amount for A1,A2,A3,A4,A5 and the grand total of A1 to A5 is shown by another field A6.
all the fields A1 to A5 is maintained in one Ztable. except the grand total field A6 . the A6 the grand total field i am taking from table pa0014.
so now using this i have to create a report where i have to take all the values of A1 to A5 from the ztable and the grand table value from the pa0014 and i need perform addition of A1 to A5 and and the grand total of these i have to get in the A6 based on PERNR and code(i have maintained in ztable).
during execution of this report i want a input screen where i can select the field for which i want to see the grand total.
whatever the grand total will come that should store in table pa0014 with the "wage type field there.

To update/create the information in the infotype, use FM HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION. The rest is a bit confusing, maybe you could explain in a way we could understand clearly what you are trying to achieve.

When Requested for a Grand Total the column values changes to zeroes

Hi,
I have a report with 2 dimensions and 4 facts. The report is showing the correct data when compared with EBS, but when we are applying grand total in Table View then for fact values are displaying zeroes. However the grand total is correct but for some dimensions the measures are displaying zeroes.
At this point i have modified the Aggregation rule of 1 measure from Default to SUM and when i clicked results Wonder, i can see grand total and the zeroes were replaced with actual values. When i have compared logical queries before applying the aggregation and after, the measure is surrounded with function REPORT_AGGREGATE and REPORT_SUM respectively.
Can anyone explain me why is this behavior occurred, i got the solution but i am not in stage to explain to client why it happened.
Kindly help and i will make sure it is definitely marked.

Use the Subtotal function instead of the Sum function for all totals.
The Subtotal function ignores other Subtotal functions in the column you are summing.
Your three "Sum" functions would look something like...

I agree with Christian, we need additional clarification.
If you are looking for a report which shows only the Top 20 records and a Grand Total, here are the steps you follow:
1. From the Criteria tab in Answers, create a filter on the column you wish to show only the top 20 records.
2. Set Operator to - "Is in top"
3. Set Value to - "20"
From there - go to the results tab. Locate the data column you would like to "count" and select the "total by" button. (Looks like an E)

Grand total in Pivot Tables with Paging

I could help with this issue please
when we apply paging PivotTables there a way to show Grand total all pages, and I've noticed that the Grand total vee only when the last page or show all results at once.
For me it is important to see the Grand total on every page.

If you're not talking about printing, then you can do this:
1) Instead of using the same pivot table that you created for details to also display the Grand Total, first paginate the pivot table. Look here:
Re: Pivot table
In your pagination, break your pivot table in groups such that you can see a small enough chunk without having to scroll too much.
2) Now that you have a manageable size pivot table, create the Grand Total as another pivot table. Take out all the attributes that break the total in detail and leave only what will give you the Grand Total.
3) Add this pivot table to the bottom of your detail pivot table in step 1. This will give you the grand total right underneath each page of your detail pivot table without having to go all the way to the end of the report.

GRAND TOTAL ON PAGE 3 OF DOCUMENT

I have a order form, the first page is totaling fine for that page and the total on that page is called amount3 totaling all amount 1's, this is a interactive form. and I am using calcform
Page 2 is also totaling correctly for page 2 but only page 2. the total box is called amount2 and it is totaling anything in the amount1 also.
page 3 I would like to have it total all three for a grand total and it is not.
here is what I am using for the first two pages
SUM(AMOUNT1[*])
here is what I have used on page 3 based on some of the other answers but something is not correct

That being said, assuming you have amount1 on page1 and amount2 on page2, you can get amount3 on page3 to show the sum of amount1 and amount2 by setting its Calculate script to this, in FormCalc:
SUM(page1.amount1, page2.amount2)

Using windows 8, firefox 16.02 freezes for 5 minutes on every page

using windows 8, firefox (16.0.2) freezes for about 5 minutes on every page. Problem started two days ago. suspected Adobe flash, downloaded latest adobe update (Windows8-RT-KB2770041-x64.msu), fixed the problem for one windows 8 session.
Have reset firefox, default home page is the only page that does not freeze for five minutes.
Looking at task manager, firefox is sitting idle during the crash, it not using excessive memory.
My firefox is submitting crash reports about every 5 minutes.
Firefox is unusable in this state, I am resorting to using IE.

Looks like a problem with the Flash plugin or the plugin-container process.
You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
*downgrade the Flash player to version 10.3 or 11.2

Valid Scrypt for Grand Total

I have created an expanding table, using the following link:

However, I have been unsuccessful with the Grand Total value. As shown in the picture below, the rest of the totals show but the Grand Total remains blank. I must include the Installation fee (marked by the check box)

Row1[x] (where x is an integer) is the name and subscript for your rows. In the example, Stef (if that's his real name) used Item as the name for his rows. In your form, you are using Row1. So, each row is named Row1[0], Row1[1], Row1[2], etc... Inside of each Row1, you have a text field called "Total." Since you're using formCalc, you are summing the total of those rows using Row1[*].Total. So, if you haven't changed anything else, you should (at the very least) be able to sum the rows in the grand total box using
$.rawValue = Sum(Row1[*].Total)
Now, the checkbox is a different story. The checkbox has an "on" value and an "off" value. We can use that in formCalc to more easily add it to the value that we're going to get for the grand total. If you set the "on" value to 300 (I included an illustration of that in my first picture), then you can use the name of the checkbox to get your total. If the checkbox is checked or "on", then the on value (300 in my example) gets added to the total, and if it's unchecked or "off", then the off value (0 in my example) gets added. The checkbox also has to have it's name correct. In my example it's called CheckBox1, in your code you have Installation. So, whatever you named the checkbox needs to go at the end of the formula we're using like so.
$.rawValue = Sum(Row1[*].Total) + Installation
If you named your checkbox something else, then you'll need to change the word "Installation" to whatever the checkbox is named. (The name is in the hierarchy tree.)

Advanced Table with Grand Total

I have an advanced table created at the design time with property "Records Displayed" is set to 10. That means, i can able to see 10 records at a time. i have click on Next "Next 10" link to see the next 10 records. i have created a footer with Total. it is showing the sum of the column for the 10 records at a time. Every time i click on "Next 10" , it shows the next 10 records and give me total for current 10 records.
My requirement is show the grand total in the footer. is there any simple setup to show the grand total instead of current page total ? Can i replace the current page total with grand total ? if so, how can i get the handler for the total ?

We have not implemented this functionality but OAF Dev guide [11.5.10.2] has this info.
Control Total Value Generation
To bypass OA Framework's mechanism to control the value generation for a table column footer so you can
provide your own value such as a percentage, set the
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAWebBeanConstants TABULAR_FUNCTION_VALUE_ATTR on the
appropriate table column. This overrides OA Framework's internal behavior of footer value generation. Like all
web bean attributes, you can data bound this attribute if required.

Grand Totals
Declarative or programmatic support for Grand Totals is currently not available in advanced tables. To
implement grand totals, you must build your own layout below the advanced table in accordance with the
Oracle Browser Look-and-Feel (BLAF) Guidelines: Tables: Grand Totals [OTN version]. Use the
messageComponentLayout region style to build this layout. In addition, you must programmatically provide the
values for the grand total fields. Since these fields are like any other form fields, you can first calculate the
grand total value in your controller code by looping through the entire view instance row range, and then call
setText() for the grand total field to set it with the calculated grand total value.

hi all,
I have two measure columns and i performed grand total on that columns .
Here, I want grand total only for one measure column (I dont want to use default aggregatio rule as none).
Any formatting options available(for eg: fill the same color for the measure as well as value for the particular column Grand Total)
Can u help on this?

If you are using Pivot table.,
try placing the measure cols(for which grand total is not needed) in the "Rows" section of the pivot table.
