Extend shoping cart item overview with one additional field in approvals

I don't find any BADI for extending the SC item overview table with
one additional field in the approvals area of srm.
is there a way to do this without modifications ?

I went through the document on the mentioned by you.
But my requirement is a bit diiferent.
I want to have 3 different drop downs with a numeric field attached to them.The sum of these numeric fields should always be 100 (two values are manually selected but the third value should be calculated automatically based on the previously selected values).
Example,
I select 10 as a value for Drop down 1, 40 for drop down2 then for the drop down3 the value should populate automatically as 50 (100 - (10+40)).i.e. the sum being 100.
Can you or any one please help me with this.
Also I am not sure how do we give multiple options for selection (like 10,20,..50 etc upto 100) for a drop down.

Data Modelling Problem with many additional Fields

Dear All
I am extracting transactional data from a CRM system where a number of Customer Fields have been added.
There are some 150 additional fields which are all included in a User Append structure and are all related to the transaction ( not master data), in the CRM system only the required fields are displayed and this is dependant upon a category/sub category ( 300 combinations), which is also extracted in the transaction data. This is what I need to achieve on BW, to develop a query to only displaying the fields relevant to the current transaction and also allow the query to select on these fields, where there could be one additional field or over 10.
The datatarget for this transactional data is an ODS object
I am able to extract all the required fields but can't think of an easy way to achieve what I'm after.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Currently in the ODS are two fields Category and Sub category. On the append structure applicable to the transaction data are some 150 additional fields which i have yet to determine how to handle. e.g.

Not all fields will be filled for each record.
For example for
Category 100 Sub Category 1, I will need to display only the fields for Libraries.
Category 200 Sub Category 2, I will need to display only the fields for Planning
Category 300 Sub Category 3, I will need to display only the fields for Waste(ZZ_WS_AC, ZZWS_CWA, ZZWS_AL)
Category 300 Sub Category 4, I will need to display only the fields for Waste (ZZ_WS_BIN, ZZWS_BU)

Form Size with one text field 442kb

I started work on a new version of a three page dynamic form because the old version was 1,537kb.
After setting up my new blank master pages (3), I placed a text field on the blank "cover page". The from size went from 12kb to 442kb with one text field. How can one small text field with no caption increase the file size so tremondously. That's a factor of 36! Any suggestions? I am using:
Microsoft Windows 7
Adobe Acrobat Pro X 10.1.6
Livecycle Designer ES2 Version 9.0
FYI: I have read that there exists some tools out there to inspect your pdf/xml and see what objects are increasing your file size. This would be very helpful, however I work for a company that gives very little freedom in downloading unapproved software. So unless there is an Adobe way to inspect for an object and its impact on size, I am in a tough situation. Thank you for your time.

Remove the embed fonts feature to reduce your file size:
File > Form Properties > Save Options
Old version file size went from 1,537kb down to 132kb

PO item overview with item details for service POs

Is there any standard report to see the PO Item overview short description data with Item-services details in case of service POs.
We raise the service pos with service short description in Item overview and against that short description we maintain service nos in item-services.
we want to see the PO wise item overview short description with item services in one report.
we have already seen ME2S,MSRV1 to 6,ME80FN, but its not serve our purpose.

SRM 7.0 - Configure Field Control for Shopping Cart Item Overview

Hi,
I am able to hide fields in the shopping item details using the "Configure Control for Fields on Item Level" node in the IMG.
However, this same configuration does not seem to work for fields that are in the item overview of the shopping cart. Any advice on how/why this seems to work differently?
I do want to hide fields via config, not as an end-user.

SRM 7.0 Shopping Cart Item - customizing Delivery Address Tab fields

Hi experts,
I have to make the fields of tab Delivery Address in the Shopping Cart (Item detail) only readable.
In other threads I found similar questions: in SRM 7.0 I have to go in Customizing
SAP Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross Application Basic Settings -> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) -> Configure field control
and add fields for which I want properties to be changed.
The problem is that at start of the SC creation the fields are blank again, they became gray only if, for example, I take an address with the match code on NAME field, that populate the other field of the tab. Or if I check the document after I've insert the address Name.

If field is made as read only when address is maintained, the best option would be to maintain a standard address number in ADDR_SHIPT attribute in PPOMA_BBP.

Extending Standard account Fact Sheet with Custom BO fields

I have created one custom BO with 2 free text fields. The fields are embedded in the standard account screen in a new tab.
The custom fields have to be available in the account summary fact sheet as well.
BO Definition:

If you need a field to store string of big length, you can use LANGUAGEINDEPENDENT_Text. Have you tried that already? This data type doesn't have any length restriction.

Workingdays with one date field

Morning all,
I have a report which uses only one date field. This report takes averages of lenses and jobs per day.
The report works fine when it is running on daily basis however when it runs on monthly basis it messes up the averages.
For example:
Daily report:
Job -1
Lens - 1
Average per day (job) -1
Average per day (lens) - 1
Month to date report
Date Range: Month to date (01/08/2008 to 28/08/2008)
Job - 6
Lens - 438
Average per day (Job)- 0.21 (where it should be 0.31)
Average per day (lens)- 15.64 (where it should be 23.05)
If you see above example, monthly should be taking Weekends and bank holidays in account.
I have done similar thing but used two different date fields however here I am facing only one date field which is being used.
So What I have done is, I modified the formula like this

Standard (application-based) firewall with one additional port open?

Lion and Snow Leopard both have application based firewalls. I want to allow access to a Minecraft server on port 25565 but I don't want to allow all of Java. How can I open one port in addition to leaving the standard firewall in place?

The Zone based firewall uses "inspect" statements, that's just what it does.
A simple zone-based firewall that will inspect all traffic going from the local network to the internet and protecting the outside interface of the router, but allowing anyconnect connections would look something like this:

Make customer field appear in item overview in RFQ

Dear SAP gurus,
We have requirement to add fields for RFQ. We are using enhancement MM06E005 and code our field, but we just realize that the fields only appear in the item detail, while we expect that the field also appear in the item overview. (In Item overview, in will be easier for the user to do mass-maintenance, eg. copy rows from excel and paste it to the document).
Is there any standard way to achieve this (eg. field available item detail to be made available in item overview) without doing coding? I have tried the table control in the item overview but the additional field is not appear there?

Looking for a browser or app with one click data entry

One thing I miss on the iPad is the ability to quickly enter information in web sites like my name, e-mail, etc. For example, Firefox for windows has an add-on called "InFormEnter" which places a check box next to each data entry block. Clicking on it allows entry of the information with one additional click. I know that some iPad password managers will remember this info, but most seem to require entering a password each time you use it.
Mercury browser for the iPad remembers data for visited sites but seems to require manual input for every new site.
Is there an app or browser for iPad that will work without entering a password or requiring manual input for every new site?

I would like to know if you have readen a good article or tutorial on how a cart-item runs with servlets on conjonction with dtabase connection.
More exactly, i know that we have to use more likely the HttpSessionBindingListener to wrap the userID so that the method valueBound may insert transient user data into he database et the method valueUnbound may remove the transient user data from database.
But how exactly implement this:

You need to find additonal field details from functional consultant & ABAP'er.
After that you need to create Z message type with that additional field/segment and further assign it to IDOC.The process is as follows :
1)Create Message Type
Go to transaction code WE81
Change the details from Display mode to Change mode
After selection, the system will give this message u201CThe table is cross-client (see Help for further info)u201D. Press Enter
Click New Entries to create new Message Type
Fill details
Save it and go back
2)Assign Message Type to IDoc Type
Go to transaction code WE82
Change the details from Display mode to Change mode
After selection, the system will give this message u201CThe table is cross-client (see Help for further info)u201D. Press Enter.

If you want to add new fields that are not possible from config (check with your consultant) you need to implement BADIs
In SPRO, go to:
>Logistics-General
->Business Partner
-->Vendors
--->Control
>Adoption of Cusomter's Own Master Data Fields
and read the documentation provided there.
You will need to implement following BAPIs
Processing Master Data Enhancements: VENDOR_ADD_DATA
Customer Subscreens: VENDOR_ADD_DATA_CS
I am not aware of any other way to add new fields to Vendor master (however, check with your consultant for config related screen modifications)
Should you need any further info to implement it, post back (read it thoroughly first, it's quite self-explanatory).
