Extending wait times in Workflow (items that have already started)

We have Order Mgt order line workflow that has multiple wait and loop activities. A number of these timeout in 2 minutes. We think that this is causing the WF BG process to run extremely long times because a processed item key times out before the process ends, causing the item to process through multiple times.
We have an initiative open to increase the wait times for the wait nodes. However, we need to figure out a way to extend the waits for the order lines that are IN PROCESS. We tried updating the due date field on the wf_item_activity_statuses and also updated the number_value in wf_activity_attr_values. But that did not do the trick. We then found another table WF_ITEM_ACTIVITY_STATUSES_H which also holds the due date.
I would like to find out if someone has ideas on what tables to update in order to get all the existing wait times extended from the current value to a different value.
Thanks in advance.

You need to update WF_ACTIVITY_ATTR_VALUES for the specific process activity id that is in wf_item_activity_statuses.
But why do want to do that. Let them complete with the old default_days and the new ones can use the new value. Are there too many item keys (order lines) that are open and require processing using WBG?
Thanks

  • NOT urgent. LOV that excludes list item that is already selected

I have a mutiple record block with a LOV item. I want the LOV to display only list items that have not been selected in the other records. The form do not commit after each record, so I cannot use a databse query to exclude the list items that have already been selected.
The only way I could think of is to go through the data block and build a LOV that excludes the list items that are in the records. This seems like a lot of work for a simple task.
Is there an easier way in doing this?
    Any help will be appreciated.
    - Clayton.

    Hello Clayton,
you don't need to commit. You could try to post your records to the database.
But make sure you do a rollback when the user doesn't want to commit.
This will release you from the 'hard work' ;-)

  • Getting letters for items that have been removed from my credit report

I have gotten several credit cards in the past month as I have been working on rebuilding my credit. Over the past few weeks I have been receiving letters from collection agencies for items that have been removed from my credit report. Has anyone else had this issue? Should I just throw this stuff away since it's not longer being reported on my credit report and the collections are so old they've been removed from the report? I am freaking out a bit. Any advice is welcome.

They were removed because they are over 8 years old. They can still try to collect, they just cannot place it on your reports. If its also beyond SOL in your state, you have to option to sent them a Cease Communications letter, charmingly refferred to as a FOAD letter. (Google it to find the meaning of that acronym). They will just sell it to another JDB, who may send you another collection notice. Keep all correspondence regarding this debt in order to keep track of it. You also have the option to settle it for a small percentage - I would suggest offering no more than 5-10% of the original amount (not some inflated "new balance"), and in your offer letter refer to it as "old, time barred debt, that is not a current financial obligation" but that you are willing to settle only to close out the account.

We need a bit more information to help.
Are you trying to update your iPhone using iTunes on your computer?  If so, did you make purchases through the iTunes Store or App Store on your iPhone, and fail to sync them with your computer?  That is the likely meaning of what you are seeing.  If this is true, the purchases would be added to iTunes in your computer before the upgrade proceeds.

Does iCloud save voicemail messages from my iphone 5 when I back up? More specifically, I am trying to access messages from my now deceased father that were in my deleted voicemail folder at the time I last saved, that have since been cleared.

The iCloud backup includes visual voicemail messages.  I'm not sure if it includes the deleted ones or not, but I would assume it does.

how do i retrieve deleted items that have been deleted by mistake ?

If they’re not in a backup, try using a data recovery product such as the ones listed here. Don't write anything else to the drive until the files are recovered or you choose not to recover them.

  • WF error: There are no workflows that have already worked with this object

    Hello all,
I am getting the error "There are no workflows that have already worked with this object" when I go to IQS23--> enter notification number --> workflow overview. I tried to find information related to this error message but could not find anything. If anyone happen to know anything about this error, please let me know.
    Thanks.
    Mithun

    Hello,
As the error message says, it can't find any workflows that have dealt with the instance of the object you're inquiring about.
If you know this isn't true, or if you don't know what object this concerns, the you could try debug to see which object is being searched for.

  • How to delete purchased items that have not yet downloaded

How do I delete purchased itune items that have not been downloaded.  When I first started using itunes to download movies I would recieve both hd and standard and I don't want both.....I want to delete all the hd ones.

Sorry, but you can't remove things already in the download queue. If you don't want the HD versions, just buy the standard-definition versions ("Buy Movie" rather than "Buy HD Movie"). As to movies already in the queue, it will be by far the easiest to just let them finish downloading.
    Regards.

No one from Apple can answer this question???  Come On!!

  • In Iphoto, How can I delete photos on my iphone that have already been imported?

I've just spent over the hour on the phone with my sister (who has a law degree, I have an engineering degree), and we could not figure out how to delete photos from our iphones that have already been imported into Iphoto.  I thought Apple was the company that made things easier???  This is a nightmare.
    The way it should work:
    - Launch iPhoto
    - Stand on iPhone (Under Devices)
    - Select photo to delete (under Already Imported)
    - Right-Click Delete (or Send to Trash, or Something)
Obviously we are not thinking like Apple thinks...does anyone know how to do this, or are these programs as crap as they seem and you have to go back to your iphone and select each photo one at a time (all several thousands of them).
Don't even get me started on how messed up my photo libraries have become now that I have (fully) switch over to Apple.
By the way, I like my Mac for everything else...but its photo capabilities suck.

Thanks, I was hoping for something a little more selective that I could do from my computer, but I think this is helpful.
Maybe the best approach to get this under control is:
    - Import all photos into iphoto
    - Delete all photos per your suggestion
    - Selectivly sync the photos you want put back on your phone
Thanks again, I didn't know this and is a helpful trick!
P.S. I still wouldn't mind finding a way to selectively delete files that are on my iphone from my computer.  (In Windows, you can go to My Computer -> Iphone, open the folder and delete what you want).

  • Apple is making me pay to update free apps OR apps that have already been purchased, More than once??!!

I have Recently been trying to update several apps of mine, and when i click update all, or one at a time, it takes me straight to my billing information. Then after that it says i need to pay to update my apps that have already been purchased or apps that i have gotten for free, i have never used a credit card to buy apps, i have always just used iTunes Cards to Redeem apps. However, when i took my iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.1  to the apple store, the "geniuses" have told me i have outstanding payments on an app so in order to update them, i need to go and purchase more itunes cards.. So i have went out and bought about Three 20$ itunes cards hoping that by using just 1 card - it would fix the problem im having. but it isnt. ALSO if i purchase an app without having the same amount of what it costs it will not let me buy/download it, so how can i have to pay for apps that are already on my phone?? MOST THAT ARE FREE. Can someone please help me solve this issue that actually knows what they are doing?! thanks..

That's because the billing information is out of date or there was a problem with a previous purchase.

No. That's not what it says. What is the EXACT message you get?

Contact iTunes store support and find out what the problem is.

Um... yeah... That's the way it works. If you want to buy something, you have to have enough to actually pay for it.

  • Why did I get charged again for items I have already purchased?

Why did I get charged again for items I have already purchased?

My theory is that because the original appleID wasn't an email, they're making you switch to it when you update to iOS5.  So that creates essentially a new appleID and it isn't recognized as the one that originally made all your purchases.  Sign out of the Store and then sign in using your old ID and it should do the trick.
The other alternative is to sync your apps rather than reinstalling them....if you can.  Hope the phone service helps.
