ExtendScript Help - Why am I getting "prompt is not a function" error?

Hello RH friends,
I need to search through my 2200+ topic project, find any topics that use a certain image in the source and then open up that file in the wysiwyg editor to visually see what's happening to the conditional markings on those topics. I need to open them in chunks since I've determined there are some 600+ topics that has the image I'm looking for. Seems like something a script would be able to handle. Does anyone have a script that does something like this or something similar?
Anyway, I started messing around in the script editor with a test script to figure some of this out, but I get an error right off the bat when I try using the standard js prompt method to capture a text
string. I have these two lines of code in my script:

alert (strText);
Running it directly from within the script editor, the prompt command works fine.
However, running the script from within RH--which is what I need to do for it to work on the current project to look at, I get a message that says:
"prompt is not a function."
What am I missing?
I'm using RH 9.02.271

RH ExtendScript bug... Use Window.prompt() and it'll work. The same goes for confirm: Window.confirm() does work. Alert() does work however and prompt and confirm work in ExtendScript toolkit itself.
I've never tried opening a topic in the WYSIWYG and I don't think that RoboHelp supports this. You can open a file with ExtendScript, but that just launches the file in default viewer (probably your web browser). I'll look into opening a topic in the WYSIWYG, but I can't promise anything.

Getting 'insertItemAt is not a function' Error Message

I am using abode pro 8 and am getting a 'insertItemAt is not a function' error message using the following code. (This code below was written as an example to show the process I want - I want to clear a combo box, then add data to it.)
The error message only appear in a one of my pdf's I currently use, otherwise it works as written. Because I want the data to appear listed from top to bottom within the combo box from 1 to 5, I insert 5 first. 5 gets inserted, but when the code tries to insert 4, it trippers the error message. Any thoughts - is there another way to insert data into a combo box?

If my combo Box is called "Fund Company-Long-Name", how could I add a varying number of items to it, using the "setItems" command?
I can get it to work for a defined number of items, as below. But I don't know how to insert a variable to replace ["A", "B", "C"] below.

Open pdf document, click tools, click content editing, click export file to (choose word). Or open pdf document and choose save as. Either way it prompts to subscribe.

How to get prompts to NOT save last value

In webi there is an option whether or not to save the last value used for prompts. I don't see this in deski; how do I get prompts to not remember the last value used? Currently they display the value I selected when I was testing the report and last saved it. Since the prompts are constrained to the list of values, it won't let me delete the value in deski. I'm running these reports in infoview; I tried deleting them there and saving it but it didn't help. I created universe prompts and specified "not_persistent" as the parameter and that doesn't help either.

Hi,
The old values in prompts can be removed by the purge option in Business Objects. If we purge the report, it will deletes the contents of the report and will remove the old prompt entries.
You can try the other thing, make a default value in the prompt; it will show you only that value even if you refreshes it fro more times.

Troubleshooting suggestions:
Ensure the page you are linking to exists in the correct folder.
Check your file name for case sensitivity . Index.htm is not the same as index.htm!
Temporarily disable any rewrite rules by renaming your .htaccess file if it exists
is the problem with
iweb or with hosting?
One Apple tech started to fix Iweb and had to end session and the next said problem with hosting at Network Solutions as it published
to local folder. NWS has checked sttting a few times-
Any help would be extremely appreciated as trying to fix this for about five weeks

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion and I am getting a "disk not ejected properly" error on my external time machine backup drive. Can I fix this myself?

Maybe the Seagate needs some firmware or other update to be compatible. Tried Google or Seagate for any info?
Sometimes with TM you almost need to start fresh... keep what you have as is as backup archive.
And don't use just one backup set or method. Redundant, one off line, and clone your volumes in addition to what TM offers.
If you can only use it via USB what about FW or eSATA?

Why do I get prompted for permission to delete files or change file names?

One of several users (my wife) on our iMac has recently started getting prompted for the administrator password to delete, rename or perfrom other operations on files in her home directory. I suspect a corrupt set of user configurations files. How can I fix this?

Remove the ACLs from files/folders in her home folder. Log in to an admin account and enter the following in Terminal:
sudo chmod -R -N ~wife
(where "wife" is your wife's account's short name)

Why do I get a Track out of memory error while running open loop frequency response?

MatrixX Build 61mx1411: I get a "Track out of memory" error when I run the Open Loop Frequency Response from the MatrixX pull down tools. What can I do to prevent this? We are running on an HP B1000 with 768 MB of RAM under HP-UX 10.2.

In the old days of Mx say Version 5 and prior the user actually selected the amount of memory that would be allocated. Depending on the size of the model etc. you would have to allocate memory. In version 6.0 and going forward there is no need for the user to manually allocate the memory.

If this is a command in a script file that you are running and the error is resulting from that then I would try commenting out everything after the letter d in the word build and then starting it back up.
i.e. only use Build
I don't believe that there is a way to manually allocate the initial SystemBuild Stack size.
I believe initially the stack size is set to 10010.
However, one way
you can manually set the initial SystemBuild stack size,is to create a large StateSpace as soon as you start up SystemBuild. This will prevent piece-meal reallocs while using SystemBuild.
You can created a new SuperBlock in SystemBuild and then drop down a StateSpace Block with 199 inputs and 199 Outputs and 1 State and entered ones(200,200)as the StateSpace Matrix without any problems. This would resize this internal stack to at least 40000.
You really should not have to do this but if that helps then you might think about doing this in your startup.ms file you could use SBA or load the file then you could delete the superblock and begin working.

Some more observations:
iTunes.app is allowed in my third party firewall.
Firewall blocking requests to IP addresses starting with 23., 24. etc.
Turned off firewall. Still iTunes reported the above -54 error. So this eliminates firewall as a factor.
Came to MBP and same issue here too.

Hello, I did a drive eraser and reinstalled everything(to clean up computer), then when I got to reinstalling firefox I had a problem. I play a game called Fallensword. It has a script called Fallenswordhelper. So I installed GreaseMonkey, then when I tried to install scripts it said "Script could not be installed Error: Failed to @require json2.js". I have done this to my computer every year since I started using computers. I have never had this before. Please help me get a fix for this, for I google it and cannot find a answer.
