Extension: Distribution error.

Question

Hello,
I finished my Extension and now I want to make it ready for distribution. I did what I got told to do here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/extension-094911.html
When I want to import that ZIP-File via "Check for Updates", it leads to the error:
Cannot install local Bundle
An error occured reading extension bundle deploy.zip
What could have gone wrong?
-I deployed a JAR-File from my Extension Project.
-I created a Directory called meta-inf and included an XML-File called bundle.xml with that content:
<update-bundle version="1.0"
               xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/jdeveloper/updatebundle"
               xmlns:u="http://xmlns.oracle.com/jdeveloper/update">
  <u:update id="kis.addsourcetemplate">
    <u:name>JavaDoc Methoden Kommentar</u:name>
    <u:version>1</u:version>
    <u:author>kis</u:author>
     <u:author-url>http://www.google.at</u:author-url>
    <u:description>Ermöglicht das Einfügen eines individuellen
     JavaDoc Methoden Kommentar.</u:description>
  </u:update>
</update-bundle> -And then I put both to an ZIP-File.

EDIT: I'm using JDeveloper version 11.1.1.5.0 with the ESDK 11.1.1.5.37.60.13.

Ok I think I got the solution. I forgot to add to the bundle.xml the xml header:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>This is the right header, isn't it? Because i tried this one before and it didn't work:

Sorry for such a late reply.
Did you get everything working ok?
In answer to your last question about the xml header....
I use <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> in all of my bundle.xml files and things work just fine.
Hope everything worked out and you are moving alone now with your extension development.
