Extra Field gone after reopening a saved Report

Hi all,
Maybe it is a stupid question but when i have builded a report with the wizzard and i add a extra Field and i save the report as a rdf. The next time i open the saved report the extra Field is gone.
Does anybody know why?

The Fields are present at the object navigator. But i know what the problem is(i guess); sometimes i saved the report with the added fields and after that i try to run the report and suddenly the Reports Builders exits.. normally i restart the Reports Builder and then i am lost the Fields although i saved the reports before.
What i did is:
- create the fields manually
- saved the report
- exit reports builder
- start reports builder
- opened the saved report
and the fields are still there(in the object navigator and in the paper report) ;-) !

Hi Stephan,
New to TestStand 3.5, the Message Pop Up Step type allows you to
display images and webpages. Simply right click on a message pop up
step and select "Edit Message Settings", then go to the "Options" tab.
At the bottom there are settings for "Display Image or Web Page". You
could select your previous generated reports and display them to the
operator.

New mail account gone after reopening - help

Every time I add a new (additional - for a total of 2) email account it works fine. After I quit and reopen, the new account does not appear. I have search for an answer extensively to no avail.

CRM 5.0 Survey - Empty after reopening filled + saved survey

Hi Experts,
yet another problem with surveys and marketing campaigns! I have created a survey with the following options:
Save completed questionnaire
Completed questionnaire changeable later
Evaluation without BI
PBO: CRM_MKTCA_SURVEY_MKT_PBO
PAI: CRM_MKTCA_SURVEY_MKT_PAI
The sending of the survey is embedded in a periodic campaign that sends an email with a link (the survey is also set in the campaign element). When I open the survey, fill in some values and save I get the message: Survey saved successful. If I reopen the survey I get the empty survey again and can fill in different values that are also saved.
An activity/contact is created every time I save the survey. From my point of view he should read the old activity whenever I reopen a survey and overwrite the old activity with the new values...
Any ideas what might be wrong? I really need help, as I am running out of time with my project :o(

do not get confused by this response,this is just the normal way the system reacts every time u fill the survey
it is the standard that whenever u fill the survey the record gets updated
in other words u can say that if a customer fills the surevy and submit it an activity is created but next time he again made some changes and when he submit yet again an activity is being generated,
but what we require is that only one activity per customer,
so what i have stated is just the vice versa of what u r observing but mind u both are same things
in some of my earlier threads i have encountered this probs,may be if u can search that thread,because those guys in there project has found a solution for this problem
that only one activity per response
and always open up into previous activity,
what they did is either coding the program to their requirement or do some enhancement

Master Pages fields visible after reopening the PDF.

I have a subform on the Master page, I want to hide them upon click of a button.
For the first time when I click on the button, the subform gets hidden. But, when I re-open(Reader Extended) the form in the Adobe Reader the subform gets visible.
Can anyone please help here?

this is one way to resolve it.
1- on the master page set a field that will be hidden. On your button that hides the page you will set the value of that hidden field to something like a 1 or hidden or something like that. Does not really matter.
Now on your initialize event you will create a script:
if(hiddenField.rawValue == "1"){ //hiddenField is the name of the field you placed on the page
Masterpage1.presence = "hidden" //Masterpage1 is the name of the master page or section etc.

Extra field on Stock In Warehouse Report

Hi Experts,
Is it possible to add an extra field to the Stock In Warehouse Report? I want to show the Item's Sales Weight, but when I add the field, the weight of the first item is just repeated for every item.
I have had to use Alt & Shift to access the table OITM table.

You can add UDF to standard reports like Stock in warehouse report ?
Reports are linked with PLD dynamically,U can't link datbase field in PLD template,Report is linked internally with free text.
Better develop query based report(ie. Query Print Layout designer).

after i import the application (pre-production) to the application (production), all reports are away. Where save Apex the reports and is there a chance to became the old saved reports back?

is altering the worksheet_id safe?
I lost my saved reports and after investigation it seems that the worksheet_id is the key link to the onscreen interactive report. changing this to recover the saved reports is my ideal solution, but i am a bit wary since it involves editing a core APEX table.
is altering the value safe, and does it lead to any long term issues?

Insert extra field in ALV report

Ive requirement like need to add Vendors Country Code very next to Tax code field in standard SAP standard ALV report S_ALR_87012357 .
Ive copied program (RFUMSV00) into z-program.
But Im not getting any idea how can I add extra field in field catalogue and corresponding value in internal table.
Any ideas please..

I didn´t understand the question very well, but if i am in certain, you will have to modify the internal table to add the field. If the table which shows the alv is like a data base type, you will have to modify this in this way:
data: begin of gt_table occurs 0,
include structure ,
new_field type XXXX.
data: end of gt_table.
Then, you will have to add this new field to the field catalogue, in this form:
ls_catalogue-fialdname = 'NEW_FIELD'.
ls_catalogue-tabname = 'GT_TABLE'.
etc...

Database fields empty after creating a new (Crystal) Report in MSY

Hello,
I have some issues to use Crystal Reports in Mobile Sales Maintenance (MSY). The situation is as follows
My example is based on this standard report, which is working
Report Name: BPartnerActivities
Reporting Tool: Crystal Reports
Category: Standard reports
Subcategory: Lists
Report Type: Report
Data Source: Business Content provider
Business Content Provider: BPActivities
My requirement is to build a new report, which is based on the standard "BPartnerActivities" Report. If I use the "copy" functionality, I get an working Copy of the standard report. However, I need to modify the Business Content Provider, but I do not want to make the modifications on the standard content provider "BPActivities".
I am now forced to used the "copy" functionality to create a copy from "BPActivities" for my own Content Provider "My BPActivities copy", which I want to use in a new report.
Issue:
I cannot modify the defined Business Content Provider after using the "copy" functionality and hence forced to create a new report from scratch to be able to set a different Content Provider.
I create my own report "MyBPartnerActivities" based on the standard report "BPartnerActivities" using the same settings and assign my new business content provider.
If I use the "Design Report" or "Modify Report" button, the Crystal Report designer pops up. Now the problem, the Crystal Report designer does not offer me any data below "Database fields".
In the standard report, the "Database fields" has a child element "BOACTIVITY-ttx" with several field options. My own created report from sratch does now have anything?!
Why my report does not offer my any data or is there anything additional to do?
Another Test
I tried to create another report using the standard content provider "BPActivities", but I have still the same issue.
In addition I recongized that the "browse data" fuctionality does not work on the fields in the standard report. The path to the database file does not exist. It starts with "C:\WINNT\...", but my system has "C:\WINDOWS\...". But the executed report is able to retriev the data?!
Unfortunately was not able to find any proper documentation, but I would really appreciate any help.

It looks like that the *.ttx file is not uploaded/create to/on the MSY system. The system shows the file in the Crystal Report Designer, but there is no file on the file system. The confusing thing is, that any standard report is still working and does not really complain about a missing ttx file. I think the content of the ttx file is somehow embeded to the report.
Does someone know how the system should behave? Should a ttx file be automatically created & assigned to any new report or do I have to create the file by my own every time?

When closing Firefox, after reopening it, my tabs are gone, even though I have Firefox set to remember session. However, after several hours and opening and closings of Firefox, it will open tabs from the old session, for no apparent reason.

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).
In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":

I have created a free text field in PLD- named Field_101. I have also created a database field from the OINV table and referenced to the UDF "U_FileNo" named Field_102. On field_101 I have linked to Field_102 but on previewing the report the field is empty/blank.

Column Headings in the report and adding an extra field to the report

I had an issue like i need to put column headings for a report and I want to add an extra field to the report.
The problem here is that the report was actually cloned from a Query.At the time of cloning,they forgot to add the column headings.
Now we need to add the column headings for the same.How can we proceed for this and where we need to add our code?
How to add an extra field to the existing report?

Hi,
you can get this done in 2 ways:
1 - Change the query to add another column and the re-generate the report
2 - If changing query is not possible, you can change the report it self for adding extra field. If you look at the code, it will be more like normal ABAP code. you can easily modify it (If you are ABAPer) for your additional requirements.

My understanding about the drag and
related function is:
Since Drag and Relate is a query based system, you can
recreate the Drag and Relate query/result in the Query generator. From
here you can save the query and access it through the Tools -> User
Queries. You can also create your own reports through Tools -> User
Reports.
If you get a 'no matching records found' error whene using D&R,
it means the user has created a wrong relation.
i.e. use the BP code instead of the BP description etc.
Note! Users with a full authorization to the Drag & Relate function
can view any data in the system, similarly to a case where a full
authorization is given to regular queries. Therefore, it is recommended
not to assign regular users with a full authorization to the Drag &
Relate function.
Please have a careful read of the documentation to apply the
functionality to your needs.
Furthermore, we could do the following testing:
e.g. create a UDF on sales order
and create two sales orders with the
same UDF value, e.g. ABC
then we drag the UDF ABC to the sales order , we could get the list of
these two sales orders.
Could you also let me know your detailed requirement for this functionality?
