    I want to know what are the document types are displayed in this page ?
    --We developed a custom program to attach the attachments to the  services contracts and the above seeded OAF page displays those ..as needed.
    But after recent changes..the Attachments--> table region is not showing the attachments.
    I have verified the query..and could not find any clue in that..

    Hi Patricia,
    is it working for restricted key figure and calculated key figure ??
    Note Number Fisc Period Opening Days
    1 1 2
    2 1 3
    3 1 0
    because I have other restriction, so I create two restricted key figure..
    RK1  with restriction :  Total Number of Note,
    RK2  with restriction :  Total Opening Days ,
    then I Created a calculated key figure, average opening days in a period
    CK1 = RK2 / RK1..
    in this case, I am not sure if it will work or not..
    for example, during RK2 calclation, it might be this   2+3 = 5, the line with 0 will be ignored..
    during RK1 calcualtion, it might be 1 + 1 + 1 = 3. ---> Not sure in this case, the line with opening days 0 will be calculated or not..
    could you please confirm..

  • Data source for this data connection isn't registered for Power BI

    Hi, I am getting this error when I set Schedule Data Refresh to refresh data from db.  How do I register my connection to the data source?  Is this a fix on SQL server or Power BI?

    Thanks for your help.

    I'm running into the same issue, I did configure the Gateway and then the data source in Power Bi.
    When I go to the Power BI Admin Center and click on "Test Connection" it seems to be working. But when I refresh the data from Power BI it doesn't work. Now if I edit the spreadsheet in excel and refresh the data in PowerPivot then it works. So
    not sure why the solution doesn't refresh from the automated service in Power BI without this useless error.
    Thanks
    Fabian
    In case it helps this is the actual error:

    Also further information I have found so far is that the Gateway is receiving the requests for the refresh and it shows the message below, so the data source is found and communication seems to be happening from server to client and back, not sure why server
    doesn't seem to like the data the Gateway is sending back to server.

  • How to define the default activity for an unbounded task flow?

    In the new "Fusion Developer’s Guide for Oracle Application Development Framework 11g Release 1" documentation at the bottom of page 14-3 it states "An unbounded task flow .... contains a default activity, an activity designated as the first to run in the unbounded task flow, because an unbounded task flow does not have a single point of entry."
    What I can't find is how to define the default activity in an unbounded task flow and where this is recorded? Can we set this via the task flow diagrammer, and which configuration file is it stored?
    I note the first time I run the application with an unbounded task flow a dialog asks me which of the activities in the adfc-config.xml file to make the default, but I can't find where this is recorded.
    Anybody have any ideas?
    Thanks,
    CM.

    Chris,
    In fact this information is nothing that belongs into the taskflow meta data because unbounded taskflow have more than one entry point and there is no notion of default. Its a tools setting (JDeveloper) we had before

    JLundan,
    I want to thank you for responding to the thread I started on the forum at java.sun.com. Your solution to my problem of needing to print the code of the html pages that the file I included generates was just what I was looking for. However, I have some further questions to ask, if you don't mind. To clarify my task I should say that your rephrasing of the problem is accurate: "You wan't to display the contents of the HTML file that the web server produces in response of client's request?"
    Yes, this is what I need to do, but also it needs to display the source code of that html file that the server produces in response to the client's request. Also, in this case, I am the client requesting that the server return some html file, and I'm not sure where the server is. But the webserver.java file that I shared on the forum is on my local machine. I was wondering if I could modify this webserver.java file at my home so that any html file the server returns to me would automatically display the source code. This is a school project of mine and I am stuck on this one thing here.
    Further, where would I put the "foo.html" file so it can be written to?
    FileOuputStream fos = new FileOutputStream("foo.html");
    fos.write(bytes);
    fos.close();
    Thanks so much for your help. I look forward to your response, at your convenience.

  • Date Format for Spry data set sort

    Hi
    Just feeling my way through the use of Spry Datasets for the
    first time and have a couple of issues hopefully someone with more
    knowledge of it than me know the answer to.
    I had an issue with my Spry Dataset initially that it would
    not work in ie7 but was OK in FF3.
    After some mucking round I realised the error I was getting -
    albeit obscure in IE was telling me it was a date format issue in
    my data set.
    The db data I am playing with here is fairly simple: I have a
    couple of text fields, an integer field that contains the
    unixtimestamp of the entry (its a simple diary application) and a
    formal date field that holds the same date in mysql's date format.
    When I display the date in the dataset I do so in the format
    "23rd May 2009" (as an example)- I code this using phps date
    function in my xml query.
    I had set this field to date format in the Spry dataset
    conditions but IE seems to barf on this- I can change it to
    textstring but then my sort is done on Alpha/Numeric sort of the
    first character in the date field which is rubbish.
    I only display the date in this format and one of the other
    text fields in my dataset- the unixdate is for programmatic
    purposes not general display so I cannot sort on this field if its
    invisible. How can I acheive a date based sort with this set up- or
    what date formats does Spry code prefer for date sorts? (My client
    wants the date to show as I have explained). Many thanks. I have a
    second query which I will post separately!

    to implement this.
    You can take a look at this page:
    http://visual.unipv.it/tmt_calendar/admin/reports/events.cfm
    Even if all the dates here are incidentally using the
    yyyy-mm-dd format, the
    dataset display the date from the "start_date_formatted"
    field:
    <td><a href="javascript:"
    onclick="showUpdate('{event_id}')">{start_date_formatted}</a></td>
    But uses another field to sort the table:
    <th scope="col" spry:sort="start_date">Start
    date</th>
    You can have the same date, using two different formats,
    inside two,
    separated dataset fields. One is used for display, the other
    one is used for
    sort.
    You may try to read again my previous explanations, look at
    the code in the
    page above and see if you get the idea.

  • How to Change the default format for differnt language both in java and SQL

    Hello,
    I am using SQL Anywhere in my application.And in my java client application user can log in with their preferred language like English,French,German,Chinese,etc....When even the user log in to the application the data from the database will be displayed with respective to the language.But when i tried to see the dates in Interactive SQL all the dates r in the format of '2008-12-5 16:44:10:673' but say for example for Chinese it will be displayed as '08-12-5 16.44.10' and for some other language it will come in some other format(which is standard format for those language).
    Mean while i am using java client.When ever i am displaying a date it will be with respective to the language using Locale and date format classes.When i am displaying the date for Chinese in GUI it will show the date as '08-12-5 &#19979;&#21320;4:44'. In summary
    1. For Chinese,the default date pattern from SQL Anywhere date base is '08-12-5 16.44.10'
    2. For the same language date using java code is displaying as '08-12-5 &#19979;&#21320;4:44'. and i am getting the time format pattern as 'ah:mm'.I tried to change the display format in regional settings but no change in display.
    Is there any way to make both the time format as same?
    Please help me to solve this issue!!!
    Thanks in Advance!

    Hello masijade,
    I did as u said but still the date display is not the same......And I'm telling you that it doesn't matter. What "format" the DB likes to display a Date in when it displays it, is completely irrelevant to how you display it in your GUI.
    A Date does not have a format. A String representation of a Date does.
    As long as you use getDate from ResultSet and setDate from PreparedStatement you do not have to worry about this. Those methods will handle dates to and from the DB themselves. You can then use SimpleDateFormat to display the Date anyway you want to.
    Just because you show the Date one way, and the DB shows it another, does not mean that it is not the same date. Don't get hung up on how the String representation of the Date looks.
    Edit: If you simply want to be able to do "Human Comparisons" then look at the SQL TO_CHAR function (for Oracle, for other DBs the function name may vary). And for Java, read the API docs for SimpleDateFormat (as already intimated above).

    Hi,
    In Sender CC, use content conversion and especially these options:
    ¤ RecordSet Structure = Header , 1 , Data1 , * , Data2 , * , Footer , 1
    ¤ Key Field Name = MyKey
    ¤ Namea.keyFieldValue, to distinguish your different structures (records).
    for instance, like that:
    Header.keyFieldValue = HDR
    Header.fieldName = MyKey , xxxxx, yyyy
    Data1.keyFieldValue = INV
    Data1.fieldName = MyKey , xxxxx, yyyy
    Data2.keyFieldValue = TOT
    Data2.fieldName = MyKey , xxxxx, yyyy
    Footer.keyFieldValue = TLR
    Footer.fieldName = MyKey , xxxxx, yyyy
    Otherwise, in SDN with term "recordset" you will find some blogs...

  • How to define the Previous Year Up to Date in BI 7?

    Dear Expert,
    I have got a BI 7 report requirement which needs to restricted a key figure with Previous Year Up to date.
    I have found a time variable as Current Year Up to Date but not able to find the one for Previous Year Up to Date.
    Is it possible that I can use it as below to restrict the Key Figure:
      ZMP_CTYD (Current Year To Date) -1   (current year to date with the off set set to -1)?
    If this is not a right way, could you let me know what is the correct way to restrict the Key Figure for Previous Year Up to Date?
    Further information about the requirement:
    I need to get the difference between current year up to date and previous year up to date for a key figure.
    For example, to get the difference between the  amout related to the preiod between Jan 1, 2008 and May 22, 2008 and the amount related to the period between Jan 1, 2007 and May 22, 2007.
    Thank you very much!
    Arthur

    Hi,
    YTD and CTD are different. One is all the way till year end and the other one is through current period. One way of doing this is to define your restricted KF definition. You can use the existing Variable that you already have and insert / restrict posting period from 'time dimension"  1 - 16, in most cases there are 16 period, or 1 to "latest period" depending on what you have. The key here is your " POSTING PERIOD" restriction
    Hope this helps

  • How to see the sequential file for which data is uploaded.

    hi experts,
    here iam transferring data to  application server.
    just chk the code once...
    the output is sucess.
    in al11, in temp iam not in aposition to find this data. how to see it.
    open dataset dsn for output in text mode encoding default.
          if sy-subrc <> 0.
              write :/'dataset cannot be open'.
          else.
              loop at it_upload.
              transfer it_upload to dsn.
              endloop.
              if sy-subrc = 0.
              write :/'sucess'.
              endif.
              close dataset dsn.
          endif.

    What is the value of the variable 'dsn' (i.e. the filename?).
    If it uses directories (i.e. something like "/dir/dir/dir/filename"), you shouldn't look at the temp but follow the path that the variable 'dsn' has.
    If there is no path in the filename 'dsn' it usually is defaulted to the temp directory (DIR_TEMP ("/tmp") or often DIR_SAPUSERS "./"). If the filename doesn't show up in either, check your BASIS people.
    Remember though, the filename is CAPS sensitive the the name "filename" and "FILENAME" are seen as <i>two different names</i> and will show up at different places in in the directory (iirc CAPS are first before lowercase).

  • How to get the item stock for a date

    Hi all
    I need to get the item stock quantity on a date, but i don´t know if i can get it from a table or if i have to make a query to calculate it from the documents´lines. If you can help me please reply this post.
    Thanks

    Do you already know of table OINM (Warehouse table) - it is not documented in SAP-BO references?
    This table contains entries for each movement in stocks of your system. Here are some examples of fields in this table:
    BASE_REF document number of document affecting OITW.OnHand
    DocDate      date of this document
    ItemCode     Item of which the stock quantity is changed
    Dscription    name of item
    Warehouse  affected stock
    InQty       number of items added into stock (OITW.OnHand is increased)
    OutQty       number of items taken from stock (OITW.OnHand is decreased)
    TransType   type of booking (see below)
    Balance      this is NOT the OITW.OnHand at the date of this booking;
                      it's something like the cumulated stock value in some currency
    To calculate the OnHand-value at a date of any of these bookings you have to
    sum up the incoming/outgoing quantities, e.g. (z.B. SUM(InQty) - SUM(OutQty)).
    Relation between the type of booking and the values in InQty / OutQty:
      ++ InQty/OutQty contain the number of items added to/taken from the stock;
      the number complies to the value OITW.OnHand is increased/decreased;
      -- doesn't affect stock (InQty/OutQty = 0)
      ? missing documentation
    TransType InQty OutQty
    -2              ++     --         opening balance
    13      --       --         outgoing invoice
    13              --      ++          outgoing invoice without previous delivery note
    15              --      ++        delivery note
    18              --       --         incoming invoice
    20             ++      --         incoming delivery note
    58             ?        ?          inventory
    59             ++      --         stock receipt (without purchasing transactions)
    60              --      ++        goods issue (without sales transactions)
    67              --      ++        transfer between stocks
    67             ++      --         transfer between stocks
    I hope that I got your question right and that my hints will help you!

  • Jdev - How to set the default format for Attribute Name

    Hi, I am using Jdeveloper 10.1.2.0.0 (build 1811), is it possible to change the format of the attribute name generated such that it follows the name as created in the database?
    For example, if in the database the column name is 'some_column_name' , when you create an entity object, the automatically generated attribute name will become 'SomeColumnName'. Is it possible to make it such that the generated attribute name follow the database column name i,.e 'some_column_name'

    That means i still have to change the name for each attribute?
    Could it make it such that when the entity obejct is created, the name is already following as it is from the database? i.e some_column_name in the database will not become SomeColumnName in the entity object.

  • Date format for parameter data entry

    I've just started working on MS SQL Server 2008 for the first time and am using Crystal XI11.5.  I have a date parameter used to pick data.  It works fine but the users are used to entering dates in mm/dd/yyyy format but this parameter forces users to enter using yyyy-mm-dd.
    Normally I am not too concerned as there is the calendar but I have a couple of keyboard users who would like to just enter in the date format they are used to.   I can't find any spot in Crystal to change the data entry format for the dates.
    I do understand that SQL Server does store dates in yyyy-mm-dd format so is this why I only have this option?  Any way to change it?  I do have dates in the report presenting in d-MMM-yyyy format without problem, it's just the date entry prompt.
    TIA rasinc

    The later versions of CR will not allow you to directly edit the SQL statement. You actually have to add a Command and remove the tables from the data source. You can, if you wish, copy the SQL from the "Show SQL Query" and paste it into the Command.
    The reason I tried to delete my previous comment is because it dawned on me (after I made the comment)  that the date picker control itself, won't accept any format other than YYYY-MM-DD.  So, while you can write the SQL to accept a variety of date formats, you won't be able use any of them while using that control.
    The CR date picker control can be found (and therefore replaced by someone w/ more guts than me) in the following locations...
    C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\crystalreportviewers115\prompting
    C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\4.0\crystalreportviewers12\prompting

    Error is because of invalid date format.
    You need to bring data in required format. As I remember you can configured it in one of the AD configuration lookup.
