Extract Members List of "Selected AD Groups" :: Input: CSV File :: OUTPUT: CSV File (URGENT REQUIREMENT)

Hello Everyone,
I am looking for a script which extracts AD Group Members (sourced from CSV/TXT file) and Output to CSV/TXT file.
Can someone help me finding customized script to solve the purpose.
Quick response is much much appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Amit Kumar

Create a CSV with your headers and use this
Import-Module Activedirectory
$Groups=Import-Csv -Path "C:\Users\seimi\Documents\ADGroups.csv"
foreach ($Entry in $Groups) {
$Path="C:\Users\seimi\Documents\"+ $Entry.groupname +".csv"
$Users=(Get-ADGroupMember -Identity $entry.groupname | select -ExpandProperty Name) -join ","
Add-Content -Path "C:\Users\seimi\Documents\PipeGroup.csv" -Value ($Entry.groupname +";" + $Users)

  • Group Members List

    I have a script that works, and creates a list of all the groups in my domain and spills them out on screen.
    I would like to enhance it so that it changes the distiguished name format to just the CN name of the members.
    I would also like to get it to spill the items into a csv file.
    I'm not a scripter, i have pieced together scripts in the past and im able to follow powershell enought to eventually get what I want.  But a little help anyone.
    Heres the script.
    $Groups = Get-ADGroup -Properties * -Filter * -SearchBase
    "OU=Some OU,OU=Locations,DC=Some Companty,DC=net"
    Foreach($G In $Groups)
    Write-Host $G.Name
    Write-Host "-------------"
    $G.Members
    Write-Host "
    Returns
    Group Name
    CN=User1,OU=Users,OU=Locations,DC=Some Companty,DC=net
    CN=User2,OU=Users,OU=Locations,DC=Some Companty,DC=net
    CN=User3 ,OU=Users,OU=Locations,DC=Some Companty,DC=net
    What I want is below spilled into a csv file.
    Group Name
    User1
    User2
    User3

    Fancy output....
    Get-ADGroup -filter * |
    ForEach-Object{
    $p=@{
    Group=$_.Name
    Username=$null
    $_|Get-ADGroupMember |
    ForEach-Object{
    $p.UserName=$_.Name
    New-Object PsObject -Property $p
    } |
    Format-Table -GroupBy Group
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Which is the command to use to list all email aliases/groups and members on the mail server.Email aliases/groups can exist in text files in the configuration directory of Messaging Server or be defined in the LDAP Directory Server. You can use the "commadmin group search" command to list the ldap groups (if you have Delegated Administration installed/configured), otherwise you can use a directory ldapsearch to find the groups.

    I want to invite 12 people to a birthday party.  I have created a group called "Centerville Gang"  I want to send just one message to all of these people.  I would think there would be a way to select this group as the recipients once instead of doing 12 searches through my contacts to get all of the members in the group but I cant seem to figure it out.  I must be missing something.  Can you help?

    Contact groups do not allow for group emailing. they are just an organizational tool for the contacts list.

  • BADI error-higher-level members have been selected

    Hi,
    1. When i select all in the Select input it is displaying warning messsage as Parent member is selected.
    2. So, Instead i am trying by selecting all the members irrespective of hirearchy manually and  not getting any errors and data is flowed succesfully.
    environment sap bpc nw 7.5 sp04
    we use the extraction BAdi /CPMB/EXPORT_TD_TO_BADI and use a
    SELECTINPUT statement to select only lowest level members of the
    hierarchical dimension PROFITCENTER. As long as we use <ALL> as
    selection, we get error messages indicating that higher-level
    members have been selected. Since we use SELECTINPUT we would expect
    not to receive such warnings. Also there are no higher level members
    passed through the Extraction BADI in IR_DATA tabel ... As a workaround
    the i always has to manually select all profit center
    Regards,

    Hi SSK,
    If i understood your question correctly, There must be some property by which you can select all the members i guess.
    I think ,the error is because parent members are  selected  when you give select all. Since in BPC , they dont store any data or cant be manipulated, You could use some propert values to select the required profit_centre.
    Example
    Entity  dimension
    IDs               Profit_Ctr             Input _ Indicator
    Abc
    XYz               Y                                N
       Xyz1           Y                                Y
    This way your code could reflect   Select  Entity where  Input indicator ="Y", Profit_ctr = "Y"
    Hope this helps

  • Can I make a paper group address list from a Contacts group list?

    I can't find a way to do this now. It used to be a simple thing -- with the aid of  a third party app--  to print all pertinent info for members of a Contact group in an compact list.
    Anyone know how to do this, or how to post such info into the Cloud?
    TIA

    From Contacts help:
    Print information
    Select one or more contacts or a group. If contacts in a group have multiple email addresses, street addresses, or phone numbers, you can choose which to use.  Select addresses for group members  Choose File > Print. Choose the print style from the Style pop-up menu, and then set related options. If you don’t see the Style pop-up menu, click Show Details.  Mailing labels: Click Layout and choose a label type from the Page pop-up menu. To set page margins and gutter space between labels, and how many labels to print per page, choose Define Custom. Click Label and choose the address to print from the Addresses pop-up menu (for example, print a label for each contact’s home address). Use other Label options to specify the print order, include a company for business mailings or a country for international mailings, or add a graphic.  Envelopes: Click Layout and choose the envelope type from the Layout pop-up menu. If you’re using a non-standard envelope size, choose Define Custom, and then enter the dimensions. Click Label and specify whether to include your return address. Choose the contact address to print from the Addresses pop-up menu (for example, print a label for each contact’s home address). Use other Label options to choose the print order, include a company for business mailings or a country for international mailings, or to add a graphic to the envelopes.  To choose the direction in which to feed the envelopes into the printer, click Orientation.  Lists: Select the paper size and orientation, and then use the Attributes list to select which fields to include. Pocket Address Book: Select the paper size and orientation, and then use the Attributes list to select which fields to include. Choose between the indexed and compact formats using the Flip Style option. Show Tips for printing a pocket book
    I haven't tried it because I don't use groups. I hope this helps.

  • Syncing to selected contact group wants to delete files outside of it

    Hello -
    I am trying to sync my iPhone contacts to my address book in a specific way. In my address book, I have my personal contacts - friends and family. I also have mailing list subscribers (which gets into the 1,000s - people with whom I am not personally connected). I copied all of my personal contacts into a separate group and selected that group under the iPhone sync options in iTunes. I also checked the box marked "add contacts created outside of groups in this iPhone to" and again chose the special "personal contacts only" group.
    However, when I go to actually sync, I get a pop-up box saying that so many contacts will be added (to my laptop), so many contacts will be modified, and so many contacts will be deleted. Which ones are getting deleted? All the ones that are not on my phone, so basically all of my mailing list, non-personal contacts.
    Isn't the point of syncing specific contact groups so that you can have your phone dialogue with that particular folder and nothing else - leaving anything outside of that folder alone?
    Just to test it out though, I changed the sync setting to "all contacts" to see what would happen, and I get the same message (it's basically going to delete anything that's on my laptop, but not currently on my phone). Why does this happen? Isn't the whole idea of synchronization that the two devices end up having the same file lists? How can I get the iPhone to populate any contacts I added on it to a specific group on my laptop, and vice versa. Seems like they should populate each others lists with missing pieces, rather than one taking the other one over and deleting, well, anything (unless I tell it to).
    And no, I do not have any of the advanced overwrite functions enabled.
    Does anybody have a solution to this problem? I'd like to sync my contacts, but obviously don't need 2,000 names of people I don't personally know taking up space on my phone.
    Thanks for any advice you all can provide!

    I think MobileMe is all or nothing--I asked a chat agent a few months back, and that was the case, haven't seen any reports or UI changes.
    Send them feedback--it would be great to select Groups and Calendars.

  • How to refresh the list of select one choice which is inside a table?

    Hello I am using Jdeveloper Version 11.1.2.1.0.

        public String addGroupButtonAction() {

  • How to select a group of icons in a folder?

    This may seem dumb, but I'm a new Mac (OS X) user. In windows I used to be able to shift-click a group of adjacent icons within a folder to select them, in order to copy them etc. On my Mac, I can only seem to do this in list or column view, and as a visually orientated person, I don't find this helpful - I want to see the icons I'm selecting. How do I do this?
    Thanks,

    From the Help menu 'selecting items':
    +Click to select a single item. Drag to select a group of items.+
    +Press the Shift key and click other items to include them in the selection. Click a selected item to deselect it.+
    +To select multiple items in a list that are not next to one another, press the Command key and click the items you want. Click a selected item again to deselect it.+

  • Strange Problem in dynamically list population with record group

    Hello Room,
    I am dynamically populating a single list with 2 record groups. I am having a strange problem. All the code are written in 2 seperate buttons. The code of every button is given below.
    Button 1 code:-
    DECLARE
    rg_reports RECORDGROUP;
    rg_name VARCHAR2(40) := 'REPORTS';
    vTemp NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    -- Pls make sure Group doesn't already exist
    rg_reports := FIND_GROUP(rg_name);
    -- If it doesn't exist then create it and add ur query to it
    IF Id_Null (rg_reports) THEN
    rg_reports:=CREATE_GROUP_FROM_QUERY(rg_name , 'SELECT companyname,to_char(co) from companymaster order by companyname');
    end if;
    --Populate the Record Group
    vTemp:=POPULATE_GROUP(rg_reports);
    POPULATE_LIST('REPORTS.EXAMPLELIST', rg_name);
    Delete_Group( rg_reports );
    END;
    Button 2 Code:-
    DECLARE
    rg_reports RECORDGROUP;
    rg_name VARCHAR2(40) := 'REPORTS';
    vTemp NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    -- Pls make sure Group doesn't already exist
    rg_reports := FIND_GROUP(rg_name);
    -- If it doesn't exist then create it and add ur query to it
    IF Id_Null (rg_reports) THEN
    rg_reports:=CREATE_GROUP_FROM_QUERY(rg_name , 'SELECT accountname,to_char(co) from accountmaster order by accountname');
    end if;
    --Populate the Record Group
    vTemp:=POPULATE_GROUP(rg_reports);
    POPULATE_LIST('REPORTS.EXAMPLELIST', rg_name);
    Delete_Group( rg_reports );
    END;
    The code is same here only the sql is different in these 2 buttons. Now the problem point.
    when i press button 1, I get the list populated ok. when i try to click on the list item and keep the button pressed the list gets scrolled properly.
    when i press button 2 after that i get account names well populated in the same list item as well, but this time, when i keep the button pressed the list does not scroll below as in button 1. It does not even allow to select different item from the list of button 2 code.
    I tried to clear cache, cookies, exit browser everything and try to run the button 2 first, but still the problem in button 2 code.
    Following are my system details.
    windows 7 professional edition.
    Oracle database 11g on windows 7
    Oracle forms 10g patchset 10.1.2.0.2 on windows 7
    Browser Netscape Navigator with oracle jinitiator 1.3.1.22
    But this form is run by a client side html file where oracle forms 10g is not installed on windows xp. html file is just referring server url to run the module. The file is run on Netscape navigator browser with oracle jinitiator 1.3.1.22
    My question is that is this a bug ? if button 1 gets the list item scrolled, why is the problem with button 2 even though i press it first. Here I am deleting the record group also. after the code is over. Initially I thought this may be the character length problem so I took the maximum character length for that list item as given by the 2 columns in database.
    Why is the list scrolling not happening in button 2 but in button 1 with same codes on both ?
    Anybody please help me.

    The problem is the second query. I would guess that the TO_CHAR(co) is not unique for each account, but is the same for the accounts. And as the second item in the select-list is the listitems values, all your listitem-entries have the same value. therefore, of you select any entry, the list will always go the the first entry again.

  • Help!  I recently upgraded to OS 10.9.4 from 10.6.8, and now when I want to send an email to a group in my contacts I am no longer able to select the group as a whole.  I have to select each address individually.  This can't be right.

    Help!  I recently upgraded to OS 10.9.4 from 10.6.8, and now when I want to send an email to a group in my contacts I am no longer able to select the group as a whole.  I have to select each address individually.  This can't be right.  With 10.6.8 I used to be able to double click on the name of the group and they would all be selected.  I've also noticed that my address book is now called "contacts."  Thanks in advance for your help.

    Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
    1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
        b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
    2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
         Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
         COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the
         computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager
         screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
    When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
         Reinstall the 10.9.4 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 Update (Combo).
    4. Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
    Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
         Reinstall the 10.9.4 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 Update (Combo).

  • Can not select a PDF file in the file uploader window after clicking the Browse... button for a file type input element.

    After upgrading to 5 (this worked in 4) I can not select a PDF file in the File Upload dialog that appears when I click the Browse button next to an HTML file type input element. The specific HTML element source code has the attribute: ACCEPT="image/*". I can select image files such as jpg, png, tiff, etc. But not PDF. This worked great in Furefox 4 and works in the latest version of Safari.
    The HTML code for the form element is:
    INPUT TYPE="file" NAME="file_1" ACCEPT="image/*" SIZE=35
    The File Upload dialog lists all files with PDF extension as dimmed and not selectable in Firefox 5.
    Can you help?

    Hi Purush
    Unfortunately we couldn't solve the problem. Our IT specialist checked it with SAP directly. SAP doesn't support the SAP KW solution anymore. Therefore we checked-in the document in ".doc"-Format.

  • Powershell to get all the members in about 20 DynamicDistribution group in exchange 2010

    I have about 20 DynamicDistribution groups in my exchange 2010 enviroment.  I need to run a report to show all the members in each group.  How can I accomplish this with powershell ?  thanks for all the help

    I assume you don't want the output of all 20 groups dumped into one single list.  So, you'd just use this:
    Use the Shell to preview the list of members of a dynamic distribution
    group
    This example returns the list of members for the dynamic distribution group Full Time Employees. The first command stores the dynamic distribution group object in the variable $FTE.
    The second command uses the Get-Recipient cmdlet to list the recipients that match the criteria defined for the dynamic distribution group.
    $FTE = Get-DynamicDistributionGroup "Full Time Employees"
    Get-Recipient -RecipientPreviewFilter $FTE.RecipientFilter
    For detailed syntax and parameter information, see Get-DynamicDistributionGroup and Get-Recipient.

    </rdf:RDF>now my first attempt at pulling this off worked just fine, but only for the female demographics, since the tags for female and male are identical (only the numbers/data is different) and my parser would stop after reaching the first round of tags specified.
    here's part of my code for that section, located in the main (response is the xml string returned from server):
    while ((temp = in.readLine()) != null)
                 response += temp + "\n";
            temp = null;
            in.close ();
    int left = response.indexOf("<census1:under5Years rdf:datatype=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#integer\">");
              int right = response.indexOf("</census1:under5Years>");
                   // pull out the text inside the parens
                   String parsed = response.substring(left+77, right);
                   double parseddub = Double.parseDouble(parsed);
                        //divide the group Under5Years into Under12Mo and 1to4Yr
                        double Group1Adub = parseddub*.25;//25% for Under12Mo
                        Group1Adub = Math.ceil(Group1Adub);
                        int Group1A =(int)Group1Adub;
                        double Group1Bdub = parseddub*.75;//75% for 1to4Yr
                        Group1Bdub = Math.ceil(Group1Bdub);
                        int Group1B =(int)Group1Bdub;
    //..need to basically duplicate this for 3 other age groups
    int Group1 = Group1A;
    System.out.println("Server response:\n" + "Female");
              System.out.println("Under 12 Months:    " + Group1);now basically, everything works great for the female data, but i would like to somehow loop this or selectively parse by line and then extract information from those selected lines. any thoughts? i would really appreciate some insight thanks.

    lol no offense taken. sorry for the confusion, please disregard my earlier statements... :)
    i actually was able to get the thing working, i just didn't quite understand what i was doing at first.
    however, i noticed that the regex only handles the first four lines of each group (male and female). i was wondering if there was a way to do it that's non-sequential?

    </rdf:RDF> using the regular expression, i can parse the string, but what i really need is to only parse the 8 lines designated, and they are not in sequential order, which makes it somewhat problematic.

    [864, 949, 875, 534]
    same format for male of course. i'm just not sure how to edit the regex so that it can select only the lines i'm concerned with...? thanks so much i really appreciate this.
