Extracting JTable elements

Does anyone know how to extract the elements of a JTable other than getValueAt()???
Thanks.

here is the code I'm using to buffer my JTable:
if(tableToPrint.getRowCount() > numRowsPerPage){
for(int i = 0; i < tableToPrint.getRowCount(); i++){
row = new ArrayList();
for(int j = 0; j < tableToPrint.getColumnCount(); j++){
row.add(tableToPrint.getValueAt(i, j));
records.add(row);
if(records.size() == numRowsPerPage){
tableImage = new JTable(new PrintTableModel(records, columns));
tableImage.print(JTable.PrintMode.FIT_WIDTH, new MessageFormat("header"), new MessageFormat(""), false, aset, false);
if(records.size() > 0){
tableImage = new JTable(new PrintTableModel(records, columns));
Could you help me revise it?

    I want to extract the element name and the element value from this file. I was trying to do it this way:
    SELECT datetime,
    loc.aeci_value,
    loc.eei_value
    FROM temp_xmltype txml,
    XMLTABLE ('/nsiData' PASSING xmldata) misolmp,
    XMLTABLE ('/nsiData/instance' PASSING misolmp.object_value
    COLUMNS
    datetime VARCHAR2(100) PATH '/instance/@timestamp') misodt,
    XMLTABLE ('/nsiData/instance' PASSING misolmp.object_value
    COLUMNS
    aeci_value VARCHAR2(100) PATH '/instance/AECI',
    eei_value VARCHAR2(100) PATH '/instance/EEI') loc
    WHERE txml.feed_id = 127
    But doing it this way does not get me AECI as a column value. Is there any way to get the element name as a column value.
    I am on 11gR2

    The SQL statement you wrote returns 4 rows and there is only two AECI values in there. The corrected version of what you wrote should really be
    SELECT loc.datetime,
           loc.aeci_value,
           loc.eei_value
      FROM temp_xmltype txml,
           XMLTABLE ('/nsiData/instance' PASSING txml.xmldata
                     COLUMNS
                     datetime   VARCHAR2(100) PATH '@timestamp',
                     aeci_value VARCHAR2(100) PATH 'AECI',
                     eei_value  VARCHAR2(100) PATH 'EEI') loc
    WHERE txml.feed_id = 127;If you know the element name and want it returned as a column name, why not just hard code it in the SQL statement, such as
    SELECT loc.datetime,
           'AECI' as AECI,
           loc.aeci_value,
           'EEI' AS EEI,
           loc.eei_value
      FROM temp_xmltype txml,
           XMLTABLE ('/nsiData/instance' PASSING txml.xmldata
                     COLUMNS
                     datetime   VARCHAR2(100) PATH '@timestamp',
                     aeci_value VARCHAR2(100) PATH 'AECI',
                     eei_value  VARCHAR2(100) PATH 'EEI') loc
    WHERE txml.feed_id = 127;I suspect you are really looking for something like {message:id=9535532}
    Note: See the FAQ (under your sign-in name) for how to use the code tag to format code as shown above.

  • Problem while displaying the data when double clicked on JTable element

    Hi All,
    i have one List box( JList ) and one table (JTable). Both JTable and JList are positioned on the same Frame. I am able to drag the elements from JList to JTable and also i have added the mouse click action on both List box and JTable.
    if i double click on JList element, that will popup one dialog box.
    if i double click on JTable cell element that was dragged from JList, that will popup same dialog box which was opened earlier for JList action.
    But my problem here is:
    Suppose if i drag the four elements one by one from JList to JTable and (after four elements dragged) double clicked the first element which was dragged first that displayed the popup dialog box structure correctly but the data displayed in that was not correct. It is showing the data of recent dragged element( i.e, fourth element).
    But if i double click on JList element that is showing the correct data according to the double clicked element.
    What might be the problem here, why it was not displaying the correct data when double clicked on JTable element.
    Please help me here.
    Many thanks in advance.
    The following code is used in mouse clicked event method of JList
    private void listMouseClicked(java.awt.event.MouseEvent evt) {
             if(evt.getClickCount()==2){
             AssigningResourcesUI assignResource=new AssigningResourcesUI(this,true);
             assignResource.show();
    }                AND The following code is used in mouse click enevet method of JTable.
    private void tableMouseClicked(java.awt.event.MouseEvent evt) {
            if(evt.getClickCount()==2){
             int row=table.rowAtPoint(new Point(evt.getX(), evt.getY()));
             int col=table.columnAtPoint(new Point(evt.getX(), evt.getY()));
             if(row==-1||col==-1){
                 return;
              Object obj=table.getModel().getValueAt(row, col);
             if(obj==null||(obj.equals(""))){
               }else{
             AssigningResourcesUI assignResource=new AssigningResourcesUI(this,true);
             assignResource.show();
         }            Thanks & Regards,

    I doubt it is related to your problem but:
    int row=table.rowAtPoint(new Point(evt.getX(), evt.getY()));Why are you creating a new Point? Just use evt.getPoint().
    Object obj=table.getModel().getValueAt(row, col);Don't get the data through the model method, get the data through the table method:
    Object obj = table.getValueAt(...)
    This way it will work even if the table happens to be sorted.
    Instead of creating a AssigningResourcesUI object, just disply the value retrieved from the model. That way you know whether the problem is with the mouse event code or your UI class. Like Walter suggested above I"m guess the problem is with your UI class.

  • Extract cluster element names and values automatically

    Dear Labview forum,
    I would like to extract cluster element names and values automatically
    without prior knowledge of the cluster element size or contents.
    I am able to extract the names but have some trouble with the values.  (see attached VI)
    I wish to write each the cluster element name and value in a string, and then write the string to a new line in a file.
    Regards,

    This can become arbitrarily complex, because a cluster can contain many types of data, even other clusters, arrays, typedefs, etc. So getting a "value" of an element is not as easy as you might think. There is a reason you get a variant.
    If all cluster elements are simple numerics you can use "variant to data" with the correct type. The attached shows a few possibilities. Modify as needed.

    Sum1 Please tell me the Table to extract Cost element category (SAP ). Cost element category should be unique key?

    Hi,
    I don't see the cost element categ in CSKA (chart of account based).
    Better try CSKB (controlling area based.
    The Domain is KATYP and you can find cost element categ description in its value range
    [genereic extraction possible for these texts...]
    hope that helps...

    Thank you for your help so far, but I still have issues to be resolved.
    I developed couple of workflows, in assign activity, I used query to retrieve some value from xml string, e.g.
    <copy>
    <from variable="OriginalEventMessage">
    <query>/node()/*[ ( local-name() = 'Request' ) ]/*[ ( local-name() = 'Parameters' ) ]/*[ (  ( local-name() = 'Parameter' )  and  ( @name = 'serviceOrderGuid' )  ) ]/*[ ( local-name() = 'Value' ) ]</query>

    <to variable="CallMefIn" part="EventMessage">
    <query>//*[local-name()='Request']/*[local-name()='Parameters']/*[local-name()='Parameter' and @name='serviceOrderGuid']/*[local-name()='Value']</query>
    </to>
    </copy>
    at deployment, I got messages like "Starting BPELSE deploy process

  • Extracting nested element text

    Hi everyone,
    I have a basic question which has been on my mind for a few days now. I'd be appreciative for any assistance or advice.
    I'm aiming to extract info using JDOM from all the children of 'Parent' (please see code below). Getting info/text from 'ChildOne' and 'ChildTwo' is easy, but I am having trouble extracting info out of the nested-element at 'ChildThree'.
    I'd be appreciative if anyone can shed light on how to solve such a question: how to not only extract info out of ChildOne, Two but also ChildThree, knowing that ChildThree is nested.
    I've playing around with instantiating an element which gets the children of 'ChildThree' and another which gets the elements of 'ChildThree/'FirstChild'... but I think there's an easier way than that!!
    I've attached a code-snippet which is resembles my XML file. I'd be very appreciative for any advice.
    Thanks,
    p
      <Root>
        <Parent>
          <ChildOne>First</ChildOne>
          <ChildTwo>Second</ChildTwo>
          <ChildThree>
            <InnerChild>
              <First>Text</First>
              <Second>Text</Second>
              <Third>Text</Third>
            </InnerChild>
          </ChildThree>
        </Parent>
      <Root>

    I reached a solution to my problem actually.
    In case other people have the same problem, this is what I did; source-attached.
    I made a behavior called 'displayElements' and it takes a parameter of type Element. I then made it so that for this specific element, I call the '.getChildren()' behavior such that a List is produced. This List was then saved as an Iterator and read-through iteratively.
    At the end, I re-called the 'displayElements' method and passed-in the same element because that element MIGHT have inner-elements.
    Anyways, enough talk. Here's my code incase other people have the same problem.
    public static void displayKids(Element current) {
              //Printing the current-element and the corresponding element-text
              System.out.println(current.getName() + "\t" + current.getTextTrim());
              //Print a row of stars; increases readability
              System.out.println("********************************");
              //For the specific element, we then call 'getters' which get the
              //children for that specific element and save as type 'List'
              List<Element> children = current.getChildren();
              Iterator iterator = children.iterator();
              while (iterator.hasNext()) {
                   Element child = (Element) iterator.next();
                   //Recursively calling the function
                   displayKids(child);
         }

  • Extracting an element of html stored in db

    Hi All,
    I am storing HTML document in database (11g) as a clob. I want to implement Full text searching, so I have created an index on this table and I am able to search the document with this index.
    Now i want to extract a particular element from the result set (html doc).
    I want to extract only the html Header element of my html doc (stored in db).
    Can anyone help me in this?
    Thanks,

    Can anyone help me in this?Parsing HTML is quite complex. Unless it is XHTML compliant in which case you can use the integrated XML parser (and data type) in Oracle.
    If the HTML element can be uniquely identified, then a standard search string function should work okay. But this is typically not the case, which means more complex logic is required to identify the position of the HTML element and the value that needs to be extracted.
    So what you want to do depends entirely on the formatting of the HTML and the complexity of the identifying the content that you want to pull from it.

  • Script to extract grouped elements

    I have some design files where sketches have been created by designer and grouped together. Is there a way to extract all grouped elements discretely and save as JPG/PNG?

    To ungroup all objects this forum topic All Group to Ungroup Script could help.
    Regarding the rest of the workflow, I believe iterating through all objects, copying and pasting into a new document and then calling exportFile() would be the way. This forum topic (Re: Batch Export as PNG) offers an example script ExportDocsAsPNG24.jsx which could be useful.
    Happy coding.

    I am getting this error:
    ORA-19112: error raised during evaluation: XVM-01003: [XPST0003] Syntax error at '['1 declare default element namespace
    What am I doing wrong? This is my first time working with XML, so maybe it's something basic which I am missing. So any help would be appreciated!!

    Hi,
    What am I doing wrong?The PATH expression is not a valid XPath expression, probably a typo?
    Response/DDSXMLResponse/OutputGroups/OutputGroup/Token/[@keyword="State"]
                                                          ^
                                                          no slash hereshould be :
    Response/DDSXMLResponse/OutputGroups/OutputGroup/Token[@keyword="State"]Anyway, considering your input XML, this path points to nothing. There's no "Token" element child under OutputGroup.
    Maybe you meant something like this :
    SQL> SELECT b.street_number
      2  FROM (SELECT XMLTYPE ('<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone=''yes''?>

  • How to extract an element value from a String of HTML

    I have a web service that returns a fragment of HTML that contains a number in a table. The return parameter type is a string. I need to get this number and use it in a BPEL while loop, as the condition for the loop (while the number > 0).
    I have tried using the function bpws:getVariableData() but the BPEL PM faults and says: XPath expression failed to execute. Error while processing xpath expression. I think this is because I am trying to apply an XPath expression over a String variable.
    The return value from my web service looks like this:
    <whileConditionResultSet>
    <part xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema-instance" name="response">
    <ns1:string_Response xmlns:ns1="http://systinet.com/xsd/SchemaTypes/"
         xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:type="d:string">
         <p>SQL Query: select count(*) from delta_manages</p>
         <p><table border='1'>
              <tr> <th bgcolor='#C0C0C0'>COUNT(*)</th></tr>
              <tr> <td>28</td></tr>
              </table>
         </p></ns1:string_Response>
    </part>
    </whileConditionResultSet>
    How do I get the value from the HTML table into a BPEL variable?

    the doSqlService() which executes an arbitrary SQL statement, returns a string of HTML like this:
    <doSqlServiceResponse>
    <part xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema-instance" name="response">
    <ns1:string_Response xmlns:ns1="http://systinet.com/xsd/SchemaTypes/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:type="d:string"><p>SQL Query: select count(*) from delta_manages</p> <p><table border='1'> <tr> <th bgcolor='#C0C0C0'>COUNT(*)</th></tr> <tr> <td>14</td></tr> </table></p></ns1:string_Response>
    </part>
    I then copy the result to the whileResultString variable
    <variable name="whileResultString" type="xsd:string"/>
    <copy>
                                       <from variable="doSqlServiceResponse" part="response" query="/ns1:string_Response">
                                       </from>
                                       <to variable="whileResultString"/>
                                  </copy>
    I realise too, a root element will be needed. This is not a mission critical problem as we could change the web service at the other end. It was originally designed for a client to display the results rather than use them within a business process. Anyway, I'm just interested to know if I can create a node from this string data in BPEL.

  • Problem Extracting Photoshop elements/gradient in Flash Catalyst to create skin

    Hi,
    Is there is any way to get all the psd elements( i.e background gradient), in Flash catalyst.The photoshop files can be opened with different layers but all the
    gradient/color portion are getting converted into images.
    Excluding catalyst, Do we have any mechanism to create skin file(mxml)from psd files,except the Flex skin extensions.
    Please let me know how can we open photoshop file into Catalyst so that its color/gradients won't get convert into image.
    Regards,
    Renu

    I took a look at the tutorial PSD file and couldn't find anything wrong with it.
    When you save your project file, the only file that it should save is the ecotours_ui.fxp file. The ecotours_site.fxp file was one that was bundled in the tutorial files .zip package.
    It shouldn't be a problem that you have the CS3 versions of Photoshop and Flash. As you have said, you are not running them. The lack of RAM could possibly be an issue. Another possibility might be some permissions getting in your way. Have you checked to see if the files or folders that got unzipped will allow you to write to them?

  • Performance of extracting document elements

    I have a container with about 100,000 documents, of which several elements are indexed. When I run a query like this:
    for $lead in doc('dbxml:leads.dbxml/31308')/als:auto-lead-service
    return <lead attempts="{$lead/@processing-attempts}"/>
    the query returns in about 260ms.
    If I change the query to include many more document elements, like this:
    for $lead in doc('dbxml:leads.dbxml/31308')/als:auto-lead-service
    return
    <lead attempts="{$lead/@processing-attempts}"
         lead-date="{$lead/@created}"
         first-name="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:PersonName[1]/star:GivenName[1]}"
         last-name="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:PersonName[1]/star:FamilyName[1]}"
         address="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Address[1]/star:AddressLine[1]}"
         lead-city="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Address[1]/star:City[1]}"
         lead-state="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Address[1]/star:StateOrProvince[1]}"
         lead-zip="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Address[1]/star:PostalCode[1]}"
         lead-email="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Contact[1]/star:EMailAddress[1]}"
         lead-phone="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Contact[1]/star:Telephone[1]}"
         lead-source="{$lead/als:id[@source eq 'autoleadservice.com:source']}"
         lead-type="{$lead/als:meta[@key eq 'com.autoleadservice.LeadType']}"
         lead-subtype="{$lead/als:meta[@key eq 'com.autoleadservice.LeadSubType']}"/>
    the query takes about 8 seconds to run.
    Some of these elements are indexed. If I change the query to return only elements that are not indexed, like this:
    for $lead in doc('dbxml:leads.dbxml/31308')/als:auto-lead-service
    return <lead
         first-name="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:PersonName[1]/star:GivenName[1]}"
         last-name="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:PersonName[1]/star:FamilyName[1]}"
         address="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Address[1]/star:AddressLine[1]}"
         lead-city="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Address[1]/star:City[1]}"
         lead-state="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Address[1]/star:StateOrProvince[1]}"
         lead-zip="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Address[1]/star:PostalCode[1]}"
         lead-email="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Contact[1]/star:EMailAddress[1]}"
         lead-phone="{$lead/star:SalesLead[1]/star:Header[1]/star:IndividualProspect[1]/star:Contact[1]/star:Telephone[1]}"
         />
    The query returns in about 260ms again.
    From the query plan when indexed elements are included, it looks like BDB is performing a full index lookup for each indexed element, does that sound correct? Is there a way to force BDB to not use the index?
