There is something with the computer or browser that is triggering this. I have tested the website now and found it still not problematic. Please try using a different browser than what you are using now. Also you will want to check to make sure there is no software running that is regualrly deleting the temporary internet files and cookies.
If that is still not working, you may need to run your browser in compatibility mode. For Internet Explorer, you do it by Please go into the"Tools" menu and click to turn on "compatibility view". It should allow you to sort after doing that. If you do not wish to enable compatibility view every time you want to sort,  Go into compatibility view settings and add the site www.verizon.com to the list.

  • JZ0T3: Read operation timed out

    Hi! I'm trying to solve this problem for a while and actually I couldnt find the cause of the problem.
    For some reason, deep inside the code of my application that error happends when I execute some inserts on the same Sybase table (they could be performed concurrently). I said "deep inside the code" since if I test a similar code, but outside the application (that is, just executing the inserts in a stand alone java main) the problem can't be reproduced.
    The connection is obtained normally as follows:
    try {
    Class.forName("com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.SybDriver");
    }catch (ClassNotFoundException e) {
    System.out.println("Oops!");
    Connection conn = DriverManager.getConnection(url,user,psw);
    conn.setAutoCommit(true);
    The driver been used is jconnect 4.5
    Then, several inserts are performed:
    String exampleQuery = "INSERT INTO SampleTable (id) VALUES ("1")\nSELECT @@IDENTITY";
    PreparedStatement stmt = conn.prepareStatement(exampleQuery);
    ResultSet rs = stmt.executeQuery();
    if (rs.next())
    System.out.println(rs.getInt(1));
    Some of the query executions raise the following exception:
    java.sql.SQLException: JZ006: Caught IOException: java.io.IOException: JZ0T3: Read operation timed out.
         at com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.ErrorMessage.raiseError(ErrorMessage.java:485)

         at com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.SybStatement.nextResult(SybStatement.java:182)
         at com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.SybStatement.queryLoop(SybStatement.java:1455)
         at com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.SybStatement.executeQuery(SybStatement.java:1440)
         at com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.SybPreparedStatement.executeQuery(SybPreparedStatement.java:70)
    I've just found a workarround to solve this problem: synchronizing the execution of the query. That seems to avoid concurrent insertion.
    The funny thing is: when I extract the code from the application and execute it in a stand alone java main, even stressing with multiple threads executing batch inserts in a for clause, the problem NEVER happends.
    Any tip is welcome since I actually don't know what to do. Thanks a lot, I hope anyone replies!!
    Bye!

    Hi Sean,
    I informed the senior developer and she said she has emailed the Oracle regarding this issue. We are developing a website for a company who has purchased the Oracle CRM on demand. Is it mandatory for every one to create a service request? You can email me at [email protected] and I will contact you directly.

  • Issue with flat file loading timing out

    Hello
    I have a scenario, where I am loading a flat file with 65k records into a cube. The problem is, in the loading process, I have to look up the 0Material table which has a million records.
    I do have an internal table in the program, where I select a subset of the Material table ie around 20k to 30k records. But my extraction process takes more than 1 1/2 hrs and is failing (timed out).
    How can i address this issue? I tried building indexes on the Material table and its not helping.
    Thanks,
    Srinivas.

    Unfortunately, this is BW 3.5, so there is no END routine option here. And I tried both .csv and notepad file methods, and both are creating problems for us.
    This is the total code, do you guyz see any potential issues:
    Start Routine (main code)
    refresh i_oldmats.
    refresh ZI_MATL.
    data: wa_datapak type transfer_structure.
    loop at datapak into wa_datapak. (** I collect all the old material numbers from my flat file into an internal table i_oldmats**)
       i_oldmats-/BIC/ZZOLDMATL = wa_datapak-/BIC/ZZOLDMATL.
       collect i_oldmats.
    endloop.
    sort i_oldmats.
      SELECT /BIC/ZZOLDMATL MATERIAL (** ZI_MATL only has recs. where old materials exist, this gets about 300k records out of 1M**)
             FROM /BI0/PMATERIAL
             INTO ZI_MATL FOR ALL
             ENTRIES in i_oldmats WHERE
              /BIC/ZZOLDMATL = i_oldmats-/BIC/ZZOLDMATL .
                collect    ZI_MATL.
      Endselect.
      Sort ZI_MATL.
    Transfer rule routine (main code)
    IF TRAN_STRUCTURE-MATERIAL = 'NA'.
        READ TABLE ZI_MATL INTO ZW_MATL
        WITH KEY /BIC/ZZOLDMATL = TRAN_STRUCTURE-/BIC/ZZOLDMATL
        BINARY SEARCH.
        IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
          RESULT = ZW_MATL-MATERIAL.
        ENDIF.
      ELSE.
        RESULT = TRAN_STRUCTURE-MATERIAL.
      ENDIF.
    Regards,
    Srinivas.

    Hi Alex
    Thanks for your reply - when I originally looked it appeared that perl was sucking up CPU resources, although I didn't check using top -o cpu at the time. Since posting my original message above I turned off some options in my local.cf file which fixed, or more accurately "bypassed" the problem. Not really ideal but it stopped the backlogging of mail - I'd rather fix it if I could.
    The changes I made in the local.cf file were:

    bayesautolearn 0
    use_bayes 0

    Hi, Michal
    I have read your Weblog. It makes sense to me. Thanks a lot for your help! However, I still have some questions and listed them as following. Could you please help to answer them?
    <b>Q1:</b> I am new to SAP-XI. So I have no idea about TCODE-SXMB_ADM. Could you introduce more details about it?
    <b>Q2:</b> The XI system I am using is running on SAP-ICC's machine. The tools I can use are:

  • ACS 5.1 Failure: 5411 EAP session timed out -- Wired 802.1X, machine-authentication

    Hi guys,
    I have a strange error here and I`m really disappointed.
    We currently try to do "Wired-802.1X" with our Windows XP SP3 Clients with EAP-TLS and "machine-only" authentication.
    We use ACS5.1 to authenticate the clients. At about 50% of the clients authentication works fine.
    At the other clients we can see a strange error at the ACS.
    At the Reports page --> "Authentications - RADIUS - Today" we see that a client is trying to authenticate, but this fails with the Failure Code: 5411 EAP session timed out.

  • 4.2 Update Failure. "The network connection timed out"

    After downloading 4.2 just before installation the error message pops up:
    "The was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone "XXX". The network connection timed out.
    Make sure your network setting are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later"
    This happens on different machines in different locations (IPs).
    What is it and to fix it???

    I have had the same problem trying to update to 4.3 on both my iphone 4 and my kids' ipod touches. The problem seems to come after the huge 400-700MB downloads when itunes extracts the software or verifies the download with Apple. This is what seems to get blocked by the firewall.
    Turning off Kaspersky Internet security for the duration of the software download and update sorted the problem.
    I could not find a different solution. Once it is completed then you can re-enable your security software.
    If you are really paranoid about turning off your security software then I guess you will need to mess around with the firewall settings to allow itunes free access through the firewall but it may take some trial and error.

  • Mac Updates timed out

    When I attempt to download updates from the App Store, it fails and I get the following message "An error has occurred. The request timed out (-1001)". It has failed many times. I have a fairly high speed connection 12Mbp. How can I update my software? Thanks

  • Webservice calls timing out more tha they should

    I am calling a REST webservice and set a read and connection timeout of 15,000 milliseconds. Probably 1 out of 3 calls is timing out although I dont think the length of the timeout needs to be increased because when it does work it returns the data in less than a second, and increasing the timeout to 60,000 ms doesn't improve the number of timeouts. When a query fails I retry it upto 5 times before eventually givving up, it always eventually manages to work within the 5 try limit, If I post the same query in a webbrowser it invariably returns correctly almost immediately. I have asked the provider of the webservice if their system is overloaded - they dont think so.
    So Im now wondering if my code is incorrect, it receives a SocketTimeoutException when things go wrong. Is it correct for me to get the response code before I get the input stream, do I need to check that something is ready
    before I access the inputstream. Here is an extract .
    URL url = null;
    BufferedInputStream bis = null;
    HttpURLConnection uc = null;
    try
        url = new URL(getBaseQueryUrl() + sb.toString());
        logger.config("URL:Encoded" + getBaseQueryUrl() + sb.toString());
        uc = (HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection();
        uc.setConnectTimeout(URL_TIMEOUT);
        uc.setReadTimeout(URL_TIMEOUT);
        int responseCode = uc.getResponseCode();
        if (responseCode == HttpURLConnection.HTTP_UNAVAILABLE)
            throw new ServerTemporarilyBusyException("Warning Musicbrainz Server Busy:" + uc.getResponseCode());
        if (responseCode != HttpURLConnection.HTTP_OK)
            throw new InvalidMusicBrainzQueryException("Error:" + uc.getResponseCode());
        logger.finest("Receiving results from:" + getBaseQueryUrl() + URLDecoder.decode(sb.toString(), URL_ENCODING_CHARSET));
        bis = new BufferedInputStream(uc.getInputStream());
        JAXBContext jc = JAXBContext.newInstance("com.jthink.jaikoz.manipulate.musicbrainz");
        Unmarshaller um = jc.createUnmarshaller();
        metadata = (Metadata) um.unmarshal(bis);
    catch(SocketTimeoutException ste)
              System.out.println(ste);
        throw new NetworkException(Validation.getMsg(Validation.UNABLE_TO_CONNECT_TO_MUSICBRAINZ));
    catch (IOException e)
        throw new NetworkException(Validation.getMsg(Validation.UNABLE_TO_CONNECT_TO_MUSICBRAINZ));
    catch (JAXBException e)
              throw new InvalidMusicBrainzQueryException("URL:" + url.toString() + " failed");
    }thanks Paul

    FYI:The code was okay, the problem was due to my firewall, sometimes it wasnt letting responses from the webservice back. Dont know exactly why it was doing this not but chnaging the firewall has solved the issue.

  • Ibots timing out

    We have some reports that take more than a minute to run since they are extracting / aggregating more than 100K rows of data. If we run it on the dashboard the report runs fine within 2 mins. We tried setting up an ibot to run this report inorder to cache the results. But we received an email stating ' the result was canceled'. Looks like the ibot timed out. Is there anyway we can change any setting to allow the report to run and then have it emailed without any error.
    Any suggestions.
    Thanks.
