Ok this might sound stupid but yesterday I cahnged from kdemod to xfce4 and my eyes hurt after browsing the screen for a while. First I thought it had to do with my screen flickering or smoething but then someone told me lcd screens don't flicker. I installed the cairo-ubuntu freetype-ubuntu package etc but It didn't do any diffrance. Heres a screenshot. http://i43.tinypic.com/f3s3tx.jpg

Upgrade from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 - screen changes
Does anyone have a document detailing the HCM screen changes from 4.7 to ECC 6.0
As mentioned, there are not many changes in screens - I guess you'll just have to wait and see.
But this was never a problem during upgrade.
Be ware of note 783499 and it's implications.
You will have problems with IT0009 until this note was handled.
One more thing. Some of the infotypes no longer accept maintenance of text. You need to turn this off in T582A, otherwise it looks like you can save text, but nothing is saved. Whenever you hit T582A you will get an error message if the text maintenance is ticket off and not allowed. But it is not turned off automatically during upgrade, so you have to check the infotypes. I seem to remember IT0002, 0006,0021 are some of the infotypes no longer accepting text maintenance.
Hope this helps

Start up screen changes color from blue/gray to brown
My Macbook Pro recently started changing colors: When 'start up' it begins with a blue/gray (normal) color but then changes to a light brown color. The apple icon is still present though...
Any ideas as to why the screen changes its color? You should try to erase the drive with Disk Utility, so any filesystem problem will be fixed, but if you haven't made a backup, you'll lose files.
1. Go to Utilities > Disk Utility.
2. Select Macintosh HD in the sidebar and go to Restore tab.
3. Connect your external disk and drag it from the sidebar to Destination box, and press Restore.
If it doesn't help, take the Mac to an Apple Store -
Opened Notes and screen changed from listing my notes to no notes. How do I recover the missing notes?
Would you please explain how you did this? Most of my Notes dissapeared after the latest update. I tried restoring them from TM, but nothing shows up and QuickLook only shows (null). I took them from the IMAPnote file under (eventually) CoreData (~Library/Containers...), but that is not working for me. My Notes are synced with iCloud, so my solution may be different from yours.
Thank you. -
My screen change from white to off-white, before that it was looking like water has been poured inside then it started fading away to off-white [creamish]
Try here:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
If you can't turn it off then let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try the article again.
If still problem time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. It appears you have a hardware problem. -
3g screen changed from normal screen to large screen...cannot change it back
3g screen changed to larger screen..will not change to normal screen.
You have enabled zoom. Settings>General>Accessibikity>Zoom>OFF. Double tap with three fingers will reduce the zoom or drag three fingers whilst zoomed to enable you scroll around the screen to get to settings.

(EE) SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad no synaptics event device found
(EE) Query no Synaptics: 6003C8
(EE) SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad Unable to query/initialize Synaptics hardware.
(EE) PreInit failed for input device "SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad"
- I can't normally shutdown computer (no option in menu > leave)
- I can't set processor speed for powersave etc.
Please help.I dis the same as you some time ago, i.e. switched from kdemod to arch kde...I ran the command
pacman -R kde-meta
to solve my problems. When I tried to simply install kde I ran into a plethora of problems. Also make absolutely sure that you have no kdemod packages lyinga around before you do the update, run
pacman -Q | grep kdemod
and uninstall all packages. Also least but not last, make sure you are not in the kde desktop enviroment when you run these commands. Hope this helps.

How do I migrate from KDEMOD back to Arch's KDE package?
I've been a fan of KDEMOD for a long time, now that they are phasing it out, I'm kinda stuck in the limbo and would like to move to Arch's KDE package, is there a seamless way that you guys can recommend while keeping my KDE configurations?
Thanks!I would back up your ~/.kde4
cp -vR ~/.kde4 ~./kde4bak
In theory you should be able to comment out the kdemod repos in pacman.conf and then run
pacman -Syyuu
to refresh the databases and downgrade from kdemod.
You should then be able to install KDE from [extra] or [kde-unstable] if the latter is enabled
You might also want to get a list of installed KDEmod packages to know what KDE packages to get -
Screen changes are not active in production tenent
Hi Experts,
I realized the transport of a solution to the production environment and as can be seen in the attached image the solution has been successfully activated.
The scripts "OnSave", "AfterModify", etc for example are up and running in the production environment, but all the changes that were made on screen are not displayed to users.
Does anyone know how to make the screen changes available to users?
Best regards.Hello Felipe,
What tool did you use to "make changes on screens"?
UI Designer started from SDK?
Adaption mode in UI?
Bye,

What makes my screen change after going to sleep?
I have os10.9.2 and since I installed it 6 weeks ago my screen changes sizes after it wakes up. I have a mac mini.
At the bottom of your thing it says you are using 10.7.1. Is this correct? If so, run Software Update first, and see where that takes ya. From there, if you are still having issues with the black screen, try opening Disk Utility, and hit Verify Disk. If this comes up with errors, re-start your computer holding the Option button down, from there, select Recovery Disk as your start up disk. You will be able to locate Disk Utility in there, and you can Repair Disk from there.
If it does repair disk successfully, that could be part of the problem. If that doesn't work, follow the steps in this article to reset PRAM/NVRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
Even still, if that doesn't seem to correct the problem, i would back up everything on your computer to an external harddrive, erase, and re-install 10.6, run Software Update a few times, check the app store for the digital download of Lion....you should not need to "buy" this again, it should see it in the purchased section..
Update again with Software Update when you get the successful re-installation of Lion. I'm not 100% positive with the whole re-installation steps, if it walks you through going through the Migration Assistant or not, but even if it doesn't, that's okay. You can still locate Migration Assistant via the Utilities folder and bring back all your Time Machine stuff again.
Still if you want to dig even deeper to see if there is a problem with your hardware, you can run Apple Hardware Test. Check this article for steps...http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509 -
Screen changes colors after macbook dropped
Yesterday I accidentally dropped my laptop and when trying to recover, the screen changes from alternating full screen colors (red - green - blue and then black and white gradients). I'm guessing this has to do with the graphics but I am not sure if this has happened to anyone else and if there is some sort of reset button.?
That symptom appearing after a drop surely indicates hardware damage so no reset, even if available, is going to help. You'll need to have an Apple Store or Authorized service provider evaluate it. Hopefull it is something small like a damaged display cable but, if the GPU was jarred from its solder joints by the impact (quite likely) the only real cure is a new logic board.
If you have homeowners'/renters' insurance, put your carrier on notice of an accident. many such policies cover repair/replacement after an accident--even outside the home--subject to the usual deductible. -
System Number in License screen changed after system copy
I have completed a Homogeneous system copy from GTP (Global Trade Production) to GTQ (Global Trade QAS). After the copy the system number in the SLICENSE screen changed from the original number when I first created GTQ to the system number listed in GTP. Now my permanent license key for GTQ will not work because the system number is different. Is there a way to change that system number so the License key will install?
Thanks
DavidNo. Thats not possible.
You need to update the info and request a new license at SAP Service Marketplace and install it on your system.

Hi,
Does any one know if SAP re generates existing variants of a program when we make changes to the selection screen of a program. I am trying to find out if SAP does any changes to variants when a transport with screen changes move to the PRD system.
Regards,
Hari. Thanks for all the replies, is there any documenation from SAP that states this. We have a lockjam issue for the variant table and was trying to rule out the possibility of a screen change transport causing it. I too believe that a screen change does not cause SAP to touch any old variants but needed some authentic SAP data/prrof to validate my statement.

Screen changes during an upgrade
Hi,
Is there any way we can find out the obsolete screens and the screen changes from lower version to higher version during an upgrade.
Thank You.
Regards,
SoumyaHi
While doing Upgrade You have to aware of all related program like BDC's , Screens related errors and all dictionary related problems.
Some function modules may become obsolete, and some screens will change
and some new fields will be added in the new versions etc.
Also take care of SPAU and SPDD tcodes.
You should be able to know about Unicode concept in sap.
check this
http://www.thespot4sap.com/upgrade_guide_v2.pdf#search=%22upGRADE%20STEPS%20-%20SAP%22
also chk these 2 notes in service.sap.com

Hi,
I have one question related to CJ20N screen modifications.
Whenever user clicks on network beneath the WBS element, text box next to Activity number should be greyed out. That is the activity number text box should be greyed out (AFVGD-VORNR).
How to do that with out using an access key?
I tried putting breakpoints ine enhancement that I got by SMOD, but it never stopped there.
Also, earlier users have added some tabs in the network screen. I want to add few custom fields on the same screen, but when I see the screen number and go to change mode it asks for access key to perform the changes.
Please help!Hello @ponco,
Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the HP Forums I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.
I have read your post on how the screen changes size from very large to small, and that the mouse icon scrolls screen at times. Is this a recent or reoccurring issue? Does this same issue occur if you boot your system into Safe Mode? I would be happy to help you, but first I would encourage you to post your product number for your computer. Below is a is an HP Support document that will demonstrate how to find your computer's product number.
How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
In the meantime, to disable the touchscreen feature on the display, I recommend following the steps below:
Press the Windows logo key + X.
Select Device Manager from the list.
Click the little arrow next to Human Interface Devices to expand the list.
Click the touch screen driver,
Right-click, and select Disable from the list.
Click Yes on the dialog box that asks if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.

How does the JRE determine java.home?
I recently upgraded from jre 1.4.1 to 1.4.2. I'm having problems with applets, and I've traced the problem to the fact that java.home still points to the old JRE directory. Here is a line from the system properties dump in the java console: java.home
