F/U Ques. to previous post (css/bleeding off the bottom of the screen)
i got the top of the container div bleeding off the way i'd like and, while the bottom bleeds as well, something weird is happening with the footer div. looks fine in ff on a mac but, in safari, it's too high up - not sticking to the 10px off the bottom that it's supposed to.

One day ago I inadvertantly removed my applications folder. In it's place is a folder with a black question mark which appeared after I attempted to open up the applications file. Also, previously when I clicked on the file applications would open in a fan display. Could I please get some assistance with this?

If you trashed it and emptied the trash, what backup, if any, do you have? If it's still in the Trash, move it back.
If no backup, reinstall Snow, which will give you the version as of the DVD you use, then update back to 10.6.8, and run all other needed updates, including any security updates. This should save all your third party programs, as well as settings.
The white puff of smoke is nothing, it only means you moved it out of the Dock. If you still have it, or had it, as soon as you open it it would reappear in the Dock. The item in the Dock is only a kind of alias. -

I am using a PCI6014 DAQ board with LAbview.I have to generate two square waveforms at my analogoutput channels. The first wave form has to be contionously generated. The second wave form has to be started on every event occurence and wait till the waveform is complete(AOWait).

If you want to generate two square waveforms, I recommend that you use the counter outputs of your PCI-6014 board. You can set up one counter to do continuous pulse train generation and setup the second counter to do triggered pulse train generation.
Do you need the signals to have different specs than 0 to 5V? The counter outputs use TTL logic level signals, so if your square wave amplitude needs to be something other than TTL, you will need to use the Analog Outputs. It is also good to know that the analog outputs share the same update clock, so getting the data to output on the AO that is started from the occurrence may be tricky. I recommend using the counter outputs if at all possible. Check the example programs that ship with LabVIEW. Foll

Folder size is not at the bottom of the folder when opened as in previous version,
I have always like the feature that showed the size of items within any folder as shown from that screen.
With Mountain Lion, I noticed that it does not show a bottom bar with the size of the folder.
I have attempted numerous times to open this feature, if it in the preferences section, but it is not an option.
Any thoughts?I think you are referring to the Finder's Status Bar. To turn it on, go to View menu > Show Status Bar, so you will see the size of files and folders at the bottom of your Finder window

The indicator of airplay for Apple TV no longer shows up as a choose at the scroll up tab at the bottom of the screen
Make sure your phone is running the same iOS or higher as the one you backed up. If not, first update the phone. Then try restoring the backup again by going to Settings>General>Reset and tapping Erase All Content and Settings. This will bring you back to the setup screens where you will be given the option to Restore from iCloud Backup again.

Since Apple overhauled the Discussions area, my previous posts no longer seem to be in the database. This is not a big deal for me, as I had only made 15 posts or so, but I'm wondering whether I can do something to reclaim those posts as my own, etc.

Although your previous posts are no longer available, entries that have been posted, since the New Discussions format was introduced in Nov '05, are no longer removed from the system.
Your posts under the Alias VoyagerBlue, will be archived. What that means is, that if there are no additional responses in the Threads they reside in, the Topics will get continually pushed down on the Topics list. After a certain amount of time, maybe 1 to 3 months, the Threads will be locked, so no responses can be entered. But the Threads will not disappear.
The Topics that you start, will show VoyagerBlue, in the Author field of a main forum page, but eventually, readers will have to keep going to the succeeding pages to view them.

Restrict by Category or Forum: All Categories
Restrict by Date Range: All
Restrict by Username: VoyagerBlue
all of your posts, since about 11/13/05, would be found.

i now have three Apple Store accounts. The first was when I signed up for mobileMe ending in "me." The second ending in "msn" And now the third ending in,"icloud"
The first two seemed to be linked and i would get notifications to update even when i wasn't signed into that account. All the apps downloaded worked just fine on my Iphone4 whether they were downloaded using my iphone or whether they were downloaded from my macbook pro no matter which account they were downloaded from. Now since i started using icloud and after a number of restores my Apple id under "msn" downloads on the apps and my movies all purchased from itunes won't open up. All the other id's apps open up just fine. I've reinstalled itunes, deleted all the apps under the msn account and tried to redownload on both my iphone and my laptop but, no sucess.
I think the only way to get the apps that i've paid for previously is the see if itunes could move my previous purchases from one account, "msn", to my "icloud" account. has anyone else had a problem like this and how can I makethis happen?We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove your email addresses from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).
Is the old account a completely different iTunes account, or is it just a previous primary email address on the same account ? If it's a different account then all content that you download from the store is tied to the account that downloaded it, so only that old account will be able to download updates to its apps.
If it's the same account, just a previous primary email address, then what id shows at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your phone ? You could try tapping on that and log out of it and then log back in with the updated version and see what id then shows for updates. -

Ok, I want to keep the black background, but I want the white
to run all the way to the top and bottom-that is, just having black
to the sides. Can I acheive this, without having to do a complete
makeover of the site? I am willing to do that, but right now, I
want to get my friends site up and running, and when one is
complete, I want to go in and re-do it in CSS (Which i will make
another topic so I can get help with that..) But for right now, I
was wondering if there is something I can do about it right now. I
am using Dreamweaver 8.

-psypentyou have to remember what stacks are for, and many people don't.
they're not designed to categorise and group images. they're designed to group images which are almost identical. for example, when I'm shooting a neighbourhood bird, I'll usually take 10 or more photos of the bird in the same setting with almost the same pose. I'm not sure which photo will have better focus or in which photo the bird's expressions will be better. once back in Aperture, I can group these near-identical photos into a stack and then rank them (I actually prefer to rank them first before stacking). the result is that I only see the best image from that set. if there are other photos in the stack that are different or that I might want to use independently, they'll have to be removed from the stack.
alternatively but not as ideal, you could view the images in Multi mode, applying ratings and keywords to the images even while they are in stacks. you could then use Smart Albums to get to specific images within stacks by turning on the 'Ignore Stacks' preference at the bottom of the filter HUD. -
I have a CSS footer which seems to work in IE but not FF
(that is in IE it

JustinHi Justin, I tried to position the footer absolute (bottom 0)
within the relative container div which is an easy solution, but
you have probably come across that idea. It isn't the best solution
when your content is larger than your screen, because the footer
won't go down. I've found an example in a Dutch forum however which
offers a great solution. I haven't looked very closely into the
code yet, but here's the example (HTML and CSS code):

In this example the footer alwas stays at the bottom and when the
content exceeds the screen size, the footer easily goes along with
it.

Where is the New CSS Rule button that was in the properties tab?
There used to be a plus button in the properties tab. In Dreamweaver CS6 it is gone. I loaded in a tracing image, I want to type the * tag so the image and everything else will align to the upper left coordinates 0,0.

Posts that scroll off the bottom
Is it just me? When a post gets pushed down off the bottom of the lists, how do you access it again? I see no "Page 2" or "Next Page" option as ALL other forums have. I wanted to answer the very last post at the bottom of the list, and right before my eyes, it just disappeared, "bumped" from the list by a new posting coming in above.

Is the Encore CS6 Library the same as the previous versions?
Is the Encore CS6 Library the same as the previous versions or did they add new menus, buttons & such?

The "Roman" font is not being recognized in Firefox 4.0. As such, I cannot read any previously posted topics or post any new topics on websites using this font.
I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6. -
How to Get a List of All XMLElements (Follow up to previous posting)

I need a collection (or array, etc.) of all the XMLElement objects in a given document in flat form (just like the "Structure Tree"'s hierarchichal view - only flatened).
I could not find any "normal" way (i.e., built-in property or method) to get at the information. Instead, I found that I had to recurse through the entire XMLElement tree, starting with the Root Element. For a large document, this can take close to a ten minutes, and sometimes I have to do this for an InDesgin Book containing over ten enormous INDD files.
After "கற்பனை Imagine" responded to my previous post about how to get all the XMLTags, I assumed that myDocument.xmlElements would return a collection of all the XMLElements in the Document. Unfortunately, it does not - it returns only the Root XMLElement. Thus, I have to recurse therough the hierarchy of XMLElements under the Root XMLElement - which takes a very long time.
There HAS to be a better way, right?
Would it be better were I to recurse through all PageItems in the document and then recurse through each PageItem's XMLElement tree? I assume that wouldn't make a big difference either way.
I'm open to suggestions...

What do you intend to do with this flat layout of XMLElements? That probably matters a great deal.
If performance is really at play, you can try using XML Rules instead of interacting with the DOM from JavaScript. But they are complicated and confusing and more suited to declarative programming.
Imagine suggests:

xmlObjArray.push(a[b--]);
Why not stop there? evaluateXPathExpression already returns an array, why iterate over it and push its elements into a new array? What's wrong with the return value? -

Please check what is the entry you are trying to make. The posting date that you have provided in F-02 should be 05/02/2002 as the error message is saying that the current fiscal is different. So please provide more information on what is the entry you are trying to post.
You could however run some preliminary checks with tcode OB52. Check the variant assigned to the company code with the path Financial Accounting->Financial Accounting Global Settings->Document->Posting Periods->Posting Periods. Then in OB52 check what are the periods open for that variant.
