F110-Executing the Payment program for a number of company codes

We are executing the payment program (transaction F110) for a number of different company codes. On the PARAMETERS tab, we have to type in the company codes every time we do a payment run.  Is there some way to store the parameters tab in a variant so that we can just go get the variant each day instead of typing in the company codes??

Hi Bonnie,
in Parameters tab, on the top u have a button (copy parameters (F9)) press that key and give your previous Identification/date, then it will automatically, copies the Company code, Payment Method, Next run date, and Customer and vendors. just change the next rundate. and save
form next time onwords when u select copy parameters the, it will automatically praposes previously used identifier. that means, pressing F9 then enter will finish ur work.

    Hi BW Gurus,
We are in the process of upgrading BW 3.5 to BW 7.0. We did not get any conversion error in BW Dev but in BWQ we got error in one of ABAP program. The error message in log is :-
"Value '######' of characteristic 0TIME is not a number with 000006 spaces"
and job pertaining to the program is canceled in SM37.
My question is, are we suppose to run any conversion program before or after the upgrade?

  • How to generate checks when executing Automatic Payment Program (F110)

Is it possible to generate checks automatically when I execute the automatic payment program? Will reward points to any suggestion. Thanks!

    hi patrick
    try this.....ur problem may solve.....
    Create Automatic Payment Transactions (F110)
    Purpose
Use this procedure to generate checks proposals or ACH proposals and then subsequently issue checks or set up ACH files to be transmitted to the bank.
    Trigger
Perform this procedure when through either an ACH or a check, a creditor of the University needs to be paid.
    Prerequisites
Open invoices with reached due dates have to be present in the SAP system.
    Menu Path
Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:
    ·         Select Accounting  Financial Accounting  Accounts Payable  Periodic processing  Payments to go to the Automatic Payment Transactions: Status screen.
    Transaction Code
    F110
    Business Process Information
The automatic payment process will be centrally managed in the Accounts Payable Office. The automatic payment program will be executed each day for all open invoices (across vendors) in the system. There will be separate payment run execution corresponding to each payment method category:
Check payments: clears the open invoices and issues a check output
ACH payments: clears the open invoices and issues an ACH file output
Foreign currency payments: clears open invoices but no output is issued
State/Grant payments: clears open invoices but no output is issued
The process steps executed during the automatic payment program are:
    Enter Payment Parameters
    Edit/review Payment Proposal
    Post Payments
Generate Payment Medium (print checks or create ACH payment file)
    Generate Positive Payment File
The payment parameters are entered in order to limit the open invoices and credits selected for payment. It is important to note that the payment terms that are defined on the invoice will drive whether a invoice is due for payment during the current payment run. During the payment program execution, the invoices that are due for payment will be presented to the user on a payment proposal list.
The payment proposal is a list of expected payments grouped by vendor account. Invoices that are due for payment but cannot be paid due to some kind of accounting or system error are listed as exceptions. Examples of typical exceptions are missing banking information (for ACH payments) and blocked invoices. Some payment exceptions will be resolved at the Accounts Payable Office. However the Department must resolve some exceptions. When these types of exceptions appear on the payment proposals, the Accounts Payable Office will inform the Department of the blocked payment in order to get a resolution. Key personnel in the Accounts Payable Office will be the only resources to have access to the editing function of the payment proposal processing. Typically, there is no business reason the edit or change a payment proposal. Editing options for a payment proposal includes: changing the default disbursing bank account information or changing the payment method.
After the payment proposals have been reviewed and edited, the proposals are posted as payments. It is important to note that any open credit on the vendor's account is also taken in consideration when creating the vendor's payment. The payment method supplement defined on the invoice will drive the check sorting.
In addition to the printed check output, the payment program run produces an ACH file and a Positive Pay file. Both files are sent to the bank for further processing. The ACH file contains the vendor's payment and banking data. The Positive Pay file contains the check data (check processed, voided, etc) and is used for confirmation of payments.

  • Reasons for not creating a DME file in the payment program (F110)?

    Hi,
I am using the payment program F110 for customer payments.
A payment run was carried out:
Parameters have been entered. Payment proposal has been created. Payment run has been carried out. Posting orders: 17 generated, 17 completed.
However, the DME file was not created.
    What could be the reason?
    Thank you.
    Kind regards,
    Linda

    Solved.
Someone has changed the variant of the payment program.
The DME file name had disappeared.

  • Error While executing the Standard Program RSEINB00

    Hi,
I am trying to execute the Standard Program RSEINB00.
The input parameters for this program are
    1. File path along with name
    2. Port.
File path I am giving the application server directory along with the filename.
For port. i have created a port in WE21.
For both outbound parametes I selected the Physical directory and gave directory name and file name in both tabs and saved the port definition.
Now I am passing the port to the RSEINB00 program.
it is giving an error File cannot be opened.
Can any one help me on this. Can someone guide me how to use RSEINB00 to read file from application server.
    thanks

    Hi,
I think, you missed out some steps while creating Port.so please follow the below steps to resolve the issue.
    we21->click on your port number->outbound file tab->function module: EDI_PATH_CREATE_MESTYP_DOCNUM.
outbound file: give file name .txt.
and give the physical directory : /usr/sap/.......................................txt and save.
and click on 'ACESS TEST' button and check any error is coming.
go to outbound trigger tab-> give RFC destination name which we have created under a port in SM59.
and one more important thing is check your unicode status is active or not.
.Please get back me .if any issues.

    Hi
Thanks to all of you sharing your experience.
I have been noticed that whenever our users are executing the cuztomized program via t-code or calling from sub-programs then the following counters values are increasing which are as follows:-
    1) # Steps  ( number of dialague steps )
    2) O Time   (Average response time / dialague step (ms))
    3) O CPU~ (Average CPU time (ms) )
    4) T DB Time (Total DB Time (s) )
    5) O DB Time (Average DB Time per dialague steps (ms) )
Also, i am pasting the search result of  abap program which is reading the data from the specfic table without the index which are as follows:-
    1)    READ TABLE I_TVKBZ WITH KEY VKBUR = MUGRP.
    2)    READ TABLE I_TVKBZ WITH KEY VKBUR = MUGRP.
    3)   read table I_VBPA with key vbeln = i_final1-vbeln
                                  posnr = i_final1-posnr
                                  parvw = 'VE' .
    4)   read table I_VBPA with key vbeln = i_final1-vbeln
                                  posnr = i_final1-posnr
                                  parvw = 'WE' .
    5)  READ TABLE i_ship with key kunnr = I_VBPA-kunnr.
    6) READ TABLE I_FINAL INDEX RS_SELFIELD-TABINDEX.
    7)   READ TABLE S_VKBUR INDEX 1.

  • How can i pull the payment transactions for each invoice?

    Hi folks
iam developing report for following requirement.
want to disply the vendor transaction file for all company codes Fiscal year,of 2004,2005,2006, and 2007 (to date).
The purpose of oureport is to analyze our company invoices and investigate potential overpayment opportunities. In order to effectively accomplish this, we need a single invoice record for each invoice that was received by compnay from their vendors. The single invoice record would contain at least the following columns: Vendor Number, Vendor Invoice Number, Invoice Date, Invoice Amount, SAP Document Number, Check/Wire Number, Check/Wire Date, Check/Wire Amount. SAP would have multiple rows in a table for any one invoice, whereas we would only want to see ONE row for every vendor invoice.
if you know that company pays (for example) 75,000 invoices/year - then the transaction file you would have about 300,000 records in it. 75,000 Invoices * 4 years.
inodrer to develop this report iam using table PAYR -payee
BSIK ( closed items) BSAK ( open items).
my question is any one tell me how can write logic to  pull the payment transactions for each invoice?
    regards
    neeru

    Hi rob,
yes you are right,  an invovice may contaion duplicate records
    example  PAYR table contain
invice no         compnay code  checkno vendor  fisclyear
    ( doc.number)
    2000134373     001                    10287200          2007
    2000134373     001                    10427890          2007
so as per my requirement how can i write the logic.
    regards
    neeru

  • Automatic payment program for USD

    HI,
Can any one share the steps to configure  automatic payment program for  USD currency.
I have done APP for  advance pyment/ clearing invoice/Terms of payment.in INR ... but wanted to know  how to make the payment to customers
what would be the scenario where we make the payments to customer.
    Regards,
    kamal

    Hi,
First you have to define House Bank for USD payment and assign sub bank account id for House bank,
    2. The Payment method which you are using  for USD payment should tick as foreign currency allowed in payment method in company code.
    3. In 'Bank Determination' button   Please assign Ranking Order to payment method currency and house bank as per your organization's requirement.
    4. On Bank AccountsType in your House bank name and House bank Account id and G/L account for Bank sub-account
    5. On Available Amounts  provide details as required as per house bank and account id.
    It will solve your problems.
    Regards

  • How to clear the down payment against the vendor invoice in the payment program?

A down payment is made $25 Later an invoice is posted for $100 Now i want to Pay $75 to Vendor But the Automatic payment program  is not clearing the down payment against the vendor invoice. Could you please help how to clear the down payment against the vendor invoice in the payment program?

    Swathi,
Need your help i have a strange situation
    1) F-48 and document posted with document no = 15..... in company code = L002 with payment block getting populated automatically
    2) F-48 and document posted with document no= 15..... in company code = Us11 without payment block and the screen does not even show payment block, I had to check this from BSEG table
    My question is
    a) How and where does this payment block is triggered through configured and how to process next steps.
    b) when I use F-48, how do we do the actual payment, is there a check printing and linking it to the KZ document or is check printing done outside the system and the KZ document type does not have any linkage.
    c) If I do FB60 for a higher amount how do we pay partial amount.
    Your response is appreciated.

where can we find the standard program for scripts and smartform for vl02
    regard,
    anil

If it is a standard Script Output see that all config in NACE tcode was done correctly and in the Application document the output type was properly defined and attached to a medium, partner and all communication related things like printer name, when to print the output and number of messages etc are entered in the document
the go to the related application Tcode
(for sales order goto VA02 or VA03)
    (delivery -VL02N or VL03N)
    for Invoice VF02 or VF03
    for PO -goto ME9F
enter doc number, Issue Output to -> screen/printer
    then see the output
step 1 : copy the z layout into testing client thru SCC1.
step2 : go to se71 and check modified layout.
step3 : if it is under logistics.. go to TCODE "NACE".
u will see various applictions for each business process.
there u have configure ur related layout according to requirments,
for example u consider for Request fo Quatation..
    there is APPLICATION called "EA"
click and enter into it. configure it with ur requirments, for help consult with ur functonal consaltant, and save it.
step 4 : goto tcode ME9A for requst for quatation(RFQ).
step 5 : enter test data avalable and check it with message display.
it is same for other applications like Contract agreament --> ME9k
    invoice --> vl02n
    and goes on..
