how can i make my facebook status via ipad?
Hi,
You do this the same way as any other iOS device. You can either use the web-browser to access the Facebook site or you could use one of the many dedicated Facebook apps that are available in the App Store.
There are a large number if these, although I think that Friendly is probably the best. It is free and a very good app. As yet Facebook themselves have not done one for the iPad but they are rumoured to be working on one.

PLS HLEP ME!!As far as I know, that is just the way it works. Only on a pc does it show whether it is via mobile. That's just the way the app was made. If you want a more desktop version of Facebook, just go to Facebook.com in safari browser. It might show there. It will show to everyone else that looks at the status update, but not to you, if that is what you're asking.

I have trouble to connect to Facebook poker diract until I proposed by a person to use Skyfire, and then when the installation is complete error message "Your request Could not be completed, than I have other problem..the message show '' YOUR FORMAT DOES NOT SUPPORT"... Thank you to assist me!!..
as safari don't do flash and if you problems with skyfire
then all you can do is to try some of the other browsers claiming to be able to run flash

There is no solution. This is determined/controlled by FaceBook.

Hello. I have an Ipad 3 and I have installed the facebook app for ipad. Though I'm online, I appear offline to my friends. And, there is no chat bar when I log in via safari! Please Help!
I believe the Facebook App requires (or at least it did in the past) the screen to be rotated to Landscape to access/enable chat functions/enable online status (I believe at the bottom-right of the screen). You need to set your online status to available (or whatever their terminology is) to have other people see your online status and availability to chat.

To completely shut it down, even in the background, double click the home button to display the row of apps. Then press and hold the Facetime app until the app displays a minus sign. then touch the minus sign.
The app is now stopped ! -

It's upto Facebook to put tags like that or People can post API keys to allow you to post using 'updated via Apple Macbook Air'.

From an older post...
Facebook changed their mobile site so that it's the same for other mobile devices as it is iOS devices. The result is, if you post using the mobile website, it no longer labels what device you used, just that it was the mobile website. -

It appears that the app is indeed not available in Finland, as I can't find it by searching the iTunes Store there. You'll have to contact the developer of Onlive Desktop and ask if they have any plans to release their service in your country.

There's a glitch with the app. All you can do is wait for it to resolve. You can access facebook via safari in the meantime if you need to.
