Problems with my wifi connection after iOS6 download.

After I made actualization for my iPad and iPhone to iOS6, I have problems with the wifi of my devices. When I use them in my room what is served with my access point, the connection interrupt after few minutes. The signal is there but I cant navigate or download nothing. But this not happend in the room where my main router is. Can you help me? I already made som changes at the devices, but it doesen't work !

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

App Store doesn't work after ios6. Re-booting doesn't work. Suggestions please.

I have the same problem with my New iPad.
It was fine until this afternoon when I upgraded to ios6.
I don't have the wifi issues that others have reported but my AppStore doesn't work anymore.
It's just the AppStore that won't work.
Though Purchased and Updates looks OK, "Featured," "Charts" and search all return no results - just a big gray screen in the middle. I've been walked thru a Restore by Support but nothing's worked so far. I've tried logging off and logging back on.
From what I can tell, everything else (iTunes, apps, etc) look ok.
Any other suggestions?

It was working perfectly before the upgrade to ISO 6.0.1, but now I can't log in using my apple ID ... I have tried all suggestion from Tom but nothing does work. I keep getting the message "FaceTime can't log in, check your network" is nothing wrong with my network everything else works fine, I can log in into FaceTime using my IPad 2 and my apple ID.
I'm currently working in Korea, but I bought the IPad in Australia,

HT1695 Wi-Fi is not working after iOS6 download

My wi-fi continues to drop after I downloaded the new software iOS6. It connects then sends me to an apple page and on the page it says "hmmmm the page you are looking for cannot be found" then it drops my wi-fi signal.
I've tried turning it off then back on i've tried turning wi-fi off then back on I even switched off my router and then back on and my laptop is working fine with the wi-fi but my iphone 4s is not. any ideas?

The error appears because of a corrupted file in backup, in section "Phone and application settings" (english key icon in back up process section, where you can choose which data to save. Do not include this part in backup).
To solve this,
- you do need to make a hard reset (*#7370# ),
- then re-install Nokia Belle with the Nokia Suite and restore back up, except that part (meaning a backup without Phone and applications settings included).
It should solve the issue.
If the error remains, it's necessary to make a Deep Reset ( phone switched off, press low volume, camera and menu keys, then switch on phone maintaing hold on those keys until phone starts) before reinstall Belle and restore back up as i say before.

Safari doesn't work after Java Download

After I downloaded Java 1.3.1 and 1.4.2 and the Security Update yesterday, my Safari browser "can't find the server." (I also downloaded iTunes 5.0, but I don't think that's a problem.) Another casualty: my images don't download in Entourage either.
I'm using Firefox to write this.

I think your comment about
over-correcting
is most perceptive. One thing I have learned from rattling around the computing world for over 45 years is to 'fix' things one step at a time. Another platitude is "if it is not broken, do not fix it."
As a general observation, I think Apple does a good job in testing software changes prior to general release. The problems you see here - while real - do not, generally, reflect the general user population. These forums are roughly akin to visiting a hospital - most people are sick! That is not meant to trivialize real problems. Each computing configuration is slightly different, however, and there are some situations that do escape testing. (I do not work for Apple, by the by).
I'm not an expert either - far from it!

Why is iPad2 not syncing bookmarks after iOS6 download?

Not able to sync bookmarks to iPad2 after iOS6 upgrade. I am not using iCloud, just manual syncing thru iTunes. Tried to re-sync bookmarks from iMac but not successful. My iMac operating system is10.6.8.
Any ideas?

HI All,
My Facetime has stopped working since i installed ios6. All was fine before but now you call, it says connecting and that is where it stays. I have tried turning on and off, rebooting routers etc etc. Nothing works.
At least 5 of my friends who also use are having the same problems.

Hi Folks, Im glad to say I have not yet downloaded the crap update to my MacPro, and do not intend to. My IPad which is what I used all the time is now defunked for Face time because of update, what gets me is Apple knew they had a problem???? but like Windows and Microsoft they just decided to say nothing and let everyone get affected in the same way? "well done microsoft" SORRY I meant APPLE???? not much of a difference at the moment is there.....
If you try the support line even they just tell you there is a problem with "WiFi connection" which is why there is problems? RUBBISH, Listen apple, get it sorted we all paid a fortune for our pads / mac/ etc,
If I wanted to be frustrated and angreeeeee all the time using my computer equipment I could of stayed with microsoft and saved a bloody fortune.
SORT IT......... AND ACTUALLY SAY SORRY TO THE THOUSANDS OF US THAT LINE THE COFFERS OF APPLE WITH MILLIONS OF POUNDS,,,,,, MUGS THAT WE ARE.

Safari doesn't connect after sleep

The last few days after the computer has not been attended (sleep), Safari will not connect to the WAN. It will however, connect to the LAN where I can see my printer, other computers and the router.
Along with this, iTunes will not connect to their store.
FireFox will connect to the WAN and LAN without any problem.
I have tried the following:
1. Restart Safari - doesn't fix it.
2. Clear Cookies - doesn't fix it.
3. Trash .plist - doesn't fix it.
4. Log out Log in - doesn't fix it.
5. Restart the computer - guess what? it fixes it.
I don't particularly like having to restart the computer everyday, I'll try a few other things like quitting all active programs before leaving the computer to sleep.
I'll go ahead and file with Feedback Tools and see if I get any response from Apple.

MacPro as in fire breathing, 4 HD drives, taco warming behemoth.
I don't use AirPort to connect to the network with, I use an Ethernet cable directly to the router which is an AT&T fiber connection w/wireless and hard wire capabilities. This device also feeds 4TV's. The Airport Express is downstairs connected to my entertainment system. And come to think of it, it doesn't work either when the rest of the gyrations are going on with the connection. But the TV's still work.
The Network Utility shows normal activity when things don't work.
Once I get the can't connect msg. on Safari, I continue with the inspection of the network and come up with a final no problems present, working just fine.
I haven't tried my back up drive, 'cause its only a week or so old and might have the same ruckus going.
This is not a major hassle, its just one I haven't seen before.

Ipad2 stuck after ios6 download-HELP PLEASE!

I downloaded the new ios6 update on my ipad2, not thinking that i would need to plug my ipad into my desktop to complete the download by connecting to itunes. My desktop has died & i have no way to connect my ipad to an actual computer to do so. So my ipad is now stuck on the screen that shows the usb cord/arrow/itunes symbol. Help..what do i do? Ive tried the hard reset, nothing.

AT&T Microcell Doesn't work after iOS6 update

I can no longer get a reliable connection for my iphone 4 or my wife's iphone 4 to the AT&T Microcell after updating to iOS 6. I spent over an hour with AT&T tech support with no success. I have managed to get one of the iphones to see the microcell if I reset network settings (Under General - Reset), but not both. Really strange. Anyone have any suggestions?

Must be something with your Microcell. Have you powered it down and rebooted it?
I had 2 iPhones that I upgraded to iOS 6 and the Microcell recognized them immediately.

IPod Touch Remote doesn't connect after 8.1 upgrade

After upgrade to iTunes 8.1 with iTunes DJ my ipod Touch Remote app wont work as before.
I get a connection that makes it possible for me to vote and wish songs in iTunes DJ, but I don't have the possibility to change volume, stop, play, skip as before.
It's like my iPod is only a guest and not trusted Remote.
I've tried re-installing. I've checked the "find remote" in preferences.
I get the 4 digit code on the iPod, but I don't see my iPod under devices to the left in iTunes! So I cant enter the code....
It's soooo frustrating!
I've checked the firewall settings and I'm certain both computer and iPod are on the same wifi.
Please help!!
