FAIL TO CREATE SNAPSHOTS

Question

  When trying to create snapshots, I ran this query;
BEGIN
  DBMS_WORKLOAD_REPOSITORY.CREATE_SNAPSHOT ();
END;
But instead, I got the error below
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-13509: error encountered during updates to a AWR table
ORA-01688: unable to extend table ORA-01688: unable to extend table
SYS.WRH$_ACTIVE_SESSION_HISTORY partition WRH$_ACTIVE_3956424708_13844 by 128
in tablespace SYSAUX

This is after I deleted the existing snapshots so there is space
for new ones to be created. I created space after snapshot stopped generating.
I also ran this one select * from DBA_HIST_SNAPSHOT to check if there are any
snapshots available, but instead the query returned 0.
Please assist. I have major performance issues I would like to sort out using AWR reports.

check the Error message
ORA-01688: unable to extend table ORA-01688: unable to extend table
SYS.WRH$_ACTIVE_SESSION_HISTORY partition WRH$_ACTIVE_3956424708_13844 by 128
in tablespace SYSAUX
need to add  some sapec on SYSAUX tablespace.
