Fail to deploy DWG TrueView 2013 by SCCM 2012

I am using SCCM 2012 to deploy DWGTrueView 2013 in two ways:
1.application. For WinXP, I deploy it success when I login by administrator.
it returns me an error of 1603 when I login by domain users. For Win7, it works for domain users.
2.package. I try a bat script and directly use setup.exe. I success
deploy them. But they didn't install properly. And the script works in the local machine.
I use setup.exe /w /t /l /q setup.ini.
Could someone help me figure this out?

"Create a batch file for silent installation that contains :
setup.exe /q /w /t setup.ini.
Put this batch file in the wise script for installation. Reason is, this setup.exe calls another setup.exe from the source directories
and that leads the wise wrapper exe to get aborted."
from http://www.itninja.com/software/autodesk/dwg-trueview-1/18-69
I don't understand what is the meaning of "put the batch file in the wise script for installation".

  • Deploying DWG TrueView 2013

I've been trying to deploy DWG TrueView 2013, and I think I'm finally in the right direction. A lot of the information out there is outdated at most (since most have to do with SCCM 2007).
Here's what I've found so far, and that has worked with SCCM 2012, sort of:
    Pre-requisites: .NET 4 (the following article IDs must be installed: 2656405, 2656351(2 updates), 2604121 (3 updates), 2656405, 2487367, 982671 (2 updates .NET 4) and 2487367)
DWG TrueView product code: {5783F2D7-B028-0409-0100-0060B0CE6BBA}  (taken from the MSI included)
    Installation command line: setup.exe /w /t /l /q setup.ini
SCCM 2012 pushes the application to the client; however, it fails upon installation with message: The software change returned error code 0x87D01106 (-2016407290)
Now, here's the interesting part. I open a command prompt and go to the CCMCACHE folder and manually run the setup using - setup.exe /w /t /l /q setup.ini - and the application installs successfully! Looks like SCCM 2012 has a problem somewhere, and
    I can't figure that out.
Any ideas or pointers will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

I think I know what caused this error message.
The command "setup.exe /w /t /l /q setup.ini" was enclosed in quotes. I removed the quotes and I think it finally deployed! I'll do a few more installations to make sure that it works properly.
Torsten, thanks for your time and input. I'm still learning about SCCM 2012 (first time using the product), and I didn't know about the log until you pointed it out.

install automatically to users, every time message coming user should do it manually for example user should accept the terms of the agreement, kindly I need a way to solve this issue, I need Lync 2013 automatically install without users doing anything, please
    see attached snapshot.

Make sure that you are using the right command line using your newly created MSP
    ex: setup.exe /adminfile "Lync_Updated.msp"
As proposed, update your DP so that your MSP gets distributed.

  • Error while deploying Windows 2008 R2 using SCCM 2012 R2

I am trying to deploy Window 2008 R2 image (captured from a  reference machine) using SCCM 2012 R2. I have integrated MDT 2013 with SCCM 2012 R2 and created an MDT task sequence. During deployment, towards the end of Applying image.wim, it gives me
an error that task sequence failed with the error code 0x80070002. And then the system reboots. After reboot, I am able to login to the Windows Server. It seems to work fine, but there are no applications etc installed. Also the _SMSTS log folder is still
present in  the C drive. And in the smsts.log file, i can see errors like failed to copy unattend.xml file. Please help me.

    Hi,

  • System task 'policyevaluator_unlock ' returned error code 0x8000fff in windows pacth deployment on windows 7 by sccm 2012 Sp1

    hi All,
I have faced mentioned error in Win7's ccmexec.log file doing windows pacth deployment on windows 7 by sccm 2012 Sp1
system task 'policyevaluator_unlock ' returned error code 0x8000fff
    Kirpal Singh

Thanks for reporting this symptom. We investigated and found that this error occurs when user unlocks the workstation. Due to this error, ccmexec service doesn’t request for user required policies when user
unlocks the workstation. We will investigate and address this symptom. Other than user unlock, all other user policy scenarios will be functioning as expected. The client will process user policies when user logs on as well as in the regular user policy polling
    schedule”.

  • Deploying Office 2013 through SCCM 2012 SP1 leaves Office 2010 Tools and Sharepoint behind

I apologize in advance, but I have searched similar topics to this, but I haven't seen an answer yet that describes where and how to accomplish this.  I'm also a bit new to SCCM and I'm still finding the nuances.
Scenario:  Running SCCM 2012 SP1.  Office 2013 32bit is added as an application and deployed properly with an accompanied .msp file stored in the source folder.  The configuration is to have Office
2010 uninstalled silently.  The deployment runs flawless and the user doesn't know otherwise.  Success in anyone's book, right?
Except... Office 2010 Tools and SharePoint Workspace 2010 are left over.  Manual uninstallation is not an option.  This is for hundreds of PC's in several global locations.
I've seen it hinted to write a script.  That's fine I suppose, but what do I write, where do I store the script, and can I have SCCM2012 automatically run it before the installation of 2013?
Our favorite IT tool Google hasn't quite returned what I'm looking for.   Does anyone here have ideas or perhaps have experienced a similar issue?
    Thanks,

1st, save the following content as a XML file on a server share, named as "config.xml".
    <Configuration Product="ProPlus">
    <Display Level="none" CompletionNotice="no" SuppressModal="yes" AcceptEula="yes" />
    <Setting Id="SETUP_REBOOT" Value="Never" />

Run the following script during or before the installation of Office 2013:
    "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\Office Setup Controller\setup.exe" /uninstall ProPlus /config \\servershare\Config.xml

  • Deploying CC Enterprise Applications With SCCM 2012

    Hi all,
We are using CC Packager to package up individual applications (Photoshop, InDesign etc) and are having trouble deploying the applications once packaged. To deploy, we are using SCCM 2012 and are deploying to Windows 7 x64 clients. It appears that the install begins on the client, then hangs, never to finish.
We are running the MSI with the REBOOT=ReallySuppress and MSIRESTARTMANAGERCONTROL=Disable commands, but with no luck.
This has us really stumped. The applications seem to package fine, yet just won't install. If we manually run the installer, we can see it begin installing, then the progress bar goes backwards and the installation ends without displaying any sort of message.
Also, as an FYI, we have followed this guide closely in our attempts: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/packager/deploying-packages-sccm.html
Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Any ideas?
    Thank you in advance.
    Ryan

    Windows 7 x64 Clients
    Deploying with SCCM 2012
I have called Adobe before and was told that the application package needs to be on a local drive on the computer. The package cannot be installed if the package is sitting on the network. My installation for a adobe creative cloud  package fails to install when I try to install the application from the software center. At some moment the installation searches to ensure it is on a local disk. Not sure how this happends. If you place the installation package on a drive on your computer the package will install, although it will take time depending on how many applications you have packaged.
Another problem that you might have is having users log out of the applications without admin previlages.
I have yet to find a solution for these two problems, I could really use some help from someone who has sucessfully deployed a creative cloud package to a user.
    Thank you

  • Automatic Install of Endpoint Protection fails on windows 8.1 clients with SCCM 2012 R2

Running SCCM 2012 R2 and deploying CM clients and Endpoint Protection via software updates. CM client and EP install fine on Windows 7 clients. CM client installs fine but endpoint protection fails on Windows 8.1 clients with the following from the

  • Query to get the Deployment Status of an application - SCCM 2012

    Hi,
Do we have any query/report to get the detailed status report & machine name, user name of a deployment in sccm 2012 as in sccm 2007, instead of clicking on each deployment status to find the machine names and status details?
    Regards,
    Mike.

    Hi,
You could have a look the report -"All system resources for a specified package and program deployment in a specified state".

  • Trying to deploy a VB Script via sccm 2012 R2

    Hello All
This is my first attempt at deploying a script via SCCM 2012 R2 and I seem to be stuck. Essentially what this script does is map a printer. The script on its own works fine. Meaning it works when I double click it and also running it from the command
line. Its  when I try to use in sccm things go down hill. I have tried the following from the command line in the package properties.
    \\my-sccm-server\Sources\Applications\VBSripts\cscript.exe Impact.vbs
    \\my-sccm-server\Sources\Applications\VBSripts\Impact.vbs
    Phil Balderos

    looks good :)
You can check execmgr.log on the client to monitor the install as it is running.
    Thank Richk,
Still no luck. Here is the output from execmgr.log. Its saying that is completed but nothing ever happens. I am about ready to throw in the towel on this one but I just feel like that is should work because its such a simple script.
    Set WshNetwork = CreateObject("WScript.Network")
    WshNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection "\\srv-gtt-papercut\followme"
    WshNetwork.SetDefaultPrinter "\\srv-gtt-papercut\followme"
    Phil Balderos
Is the script running as an Admin ,if so then you likely set the printer up for the local system user account and not anyone else.

  • Failed Install of Cumlative Update 1 for SCCM 2012 R2

When installing Cumulative Update 1 in my test lab  (with no internet access), the setup goes fine until I get to the part where the wizard says "Create Software Update Catalog" and then it fails with an error. When I re-run the setup the
wizard skips to the parts that were already updated and goes directly to the same part and fails. The failure occurs at the creation of the software update catalog.
I have been searching the web, but have been unsuccessful in finding a solution to my problem. I am wondering if it is because my test lab does not have internet access or something permission based regarding the SCCM network access account. I
am kind of at a loss right now and any assistance is greatly appreciated!

    empty. Any suggestions?
